Chapter 21: Easy Escape

Glen's POV

"I don't believe you, water powers are already extinct a long time ago" I look at the person who spoke

and it was one of the students good in History.

(I know since I was on her class. She is very intelligent and good at that subject making her hate me

because she said I was taking her place)

I sigh and look at the girl in front who is still wearing a happy face like she wasn't just been accused to

be fake.

"She is a water elemental and we have proven that" the headmaster said answering her.

"But headmaster all the water powers are-" she was cut off by the girl manipulating a water.

Everyone gasp and gawk at the girl who is using her power. She was really making the water fly up

above the ground with just the wave of her hand.

The girl was smirking too well pissing the other girl who just reject her a while ago.

(Damn I never thought that I could really see one. I need to tell this to grandma. I bet she will be

shocked too) I thought while looking at the girl. novelbin

"So does this answer your question" she said while making the water float in the air and went near the

girl.

The girl just looks shocked that she didn't have the time to react when the water is nearly going to be

splashed on her....

Suddenly the headmaster puts her hand on the girl's shoulders stopping her from doing something

unnecessary like showing off to the whole class.

The water immediately stopped and the girl flinch and then fall and sat down on her chair while the rest

of her friend went to aid and calm her.

"Wait that was so out of boundary" I mumble in disappointment while looking at her.

(Do all elementals are cocky and have that kind of attitude? Well then if they are like that then I'd rather

not meet them in person if they are like this) I thought to myself while shaking my head in

disappointment.

"I guess that's enough Margaret. So I'll left him with you Mr. Tanner" the headmaster said before going

outside and before he went near the door, he looked at my back.

And he looks like he was saying something so I turned around and I was surprised since there, Tobios

is glaring at the door where the headmaster is.

Then he averted his head and look-- I mean glare at me. He glared at me and gave me a cold and

blank expression making me gulp and flinch.

I immediately turn around and look in front avoiding any trouble before mumbling something to myself.

"I guess he still wants to hurt me after all and does he have issues with the headmaster" I question

while shaking my head.

"That's not my business to know about" I said while looking away.

I still feel that he is glaring daggers at me making me feel uncomfortable.

(What is his problem anyway? Geez.... I guess he has emotion issues) I complained in my mind and

my conscience answered me.

(You made a fool out of him. Maybe he thinks that you escaped him this morning using that kiss. Do

you think that he will just let it go? Knowing that a boy kissed him to try and escape his wrath) my

conscience scolds and I just roll my eyes and slump on the table.

"I guess you are right" I mumble in defeat while looking in front and saw that the girl was not there.

I look around and saw that the girl is already sitting down at the front near some few guys who are

chatting with her or say flirting with her.

She suddenly turns around and look at my direction. I suddenly tense but when I realize the she was

not looking at me but rather the person at my back, I release a deep sigh and look away in

disinterested.

Then something pops out of my mind making me make a silly smile and just chuckle in my thoughts.

(I guess they could feel who is an elemental. Or maybe opposite power attracts each other) I kind of

chuckle at that thought so I shake my head and ignored her.

Me and my silly head again. Then suddenly the girl looked at me then flash a smile making me smile

forcefully since I don't want to get in her bad side.

(I don't want to be rude maybe she'll kill me on the spot and besides she is an elemental. I already

have a fight with one and I don't want another one to chase me around the school wanting to kill me) I

shiver in fear while thinking of the fight that I have.

"We'll then let's resume with the discussion" Sir Tanner said making us all look at him and continue the

class again.

I was bored while listening to the discussion of Sir because we are having a lecture instead of actual.

(When are we going to have the actual?) 8 question while looking at the equipment on the other side.

"Damn I really want to try some of those" I said while looking at the weapons arranged on the tables.

(Oh speaking of fighting. My brother should have already heard the news. It's a shame I wasn't there to

see his fucking reaction. I bet he was opening his mouth like a fish that is sucking water in the sea)

I chuckle while picturing my brothers face.

The was already ending smoothly and peacefully since Tobios didn't try to stab me at my back.

(Well I'm just happy that he didn't stab me thought I could still feel the glares that he is giving to me

from time to time. That is far better than getting stab at the back you know)

I fix my things immediately so that I can easily scape him if Sir would dismiss us. I'll have the chance

and run for it if he happens to try and grab me.

"Okay then that is it for today" Sir said and walks away making me grab this chance and escape since I

saw Tobios still fixing his things.

And luck was with me since when I was about to stand up since Sir Tanner already left, I saw the new

student, Margaret walking up and getting near Tobios. She distracted him so I jump in joy since I have

an easy escape this time.

"I guess she can be useful after all" I mumble while meeting her halfway.

She saw me looking at her so I was about to smile at her to thank her for going to distract Tobios but I

immediately stopped when she gave me a bored expression before passing by.

(What the... did she just give me a head to toe look. That's rude man. Guess that smile was just a fake

one. Damn she is very plastic-- you know what I mean. Tsk.... what a bad attitude)

I suddenly got pissed with that and I immediately look away. But I can't let her ruin my day just like that

so I just think that I did not saw that. But rather I just smile at the boy that is sitting just next to me.

He looks at me and smile too before he walks away and I was about to follow him when I heard the

snob talk.

"So I guess you’re the fire elemental" I heard she said while looking at Tobios.

I look at Tobios and he was fixing his stuffs when she neared him. He raises his head then look at her

boredly.

(I guess this is the time where I should slowly run away and scape since he is already distracted)

I slowly walk down and then run immediately to the door unnoticeable.

I then look at him when I was at the door and saw that he was talking with the snob. I smile in the

success of my scape.

"Easy as a pie" I mumble before running away and getting out of the place.

Tobios' POV

"Where is that fucker?" I mumble in annoyance while I went to my next class.

(That prank that he did was...... argh.... I don't have to tell it since it was disgusting. I never thought that

I would kiss another guy one day. SHIT) I cursed while looking at the room.

I entered the class and look for him immediately. I scan the room and I can't see him. Few students are

in already and tried to spot him but I didn't saw him.

(Is he going to scape this class. Well he better be or else I'll fucking rip his head) I smirk

"I guess his so scared that he doesn't what to face me after doing that" I mutter before finding a sit.

The kiss that he gave me this morning was still on my mind and it's making me angry just thinking

about it.

"Kissing me just for him to escape was so..... Arg... I'll really punch that fucker... beside no guy had

ever kissed me" I cursed while getting frustrated and angry at the same time.

"Wait till I see you" I finished and went to find me a sit.

I went at the back row so that I can see him if he decides to come to class. And when I went to the

back row I was surprised. There he was, sleeping at one of the chairs near the window.

I smirk and the anger a while ago that I am feeling suddenly came back and I want to beat the shit out

of him so I immediately jog next to him since his guard was down.

"You are dead fucker" I said in gritted teeth while going next to him.

I then went close to him and saw him sleeping making raise my hand to hit him but I stopped when I

look at his face since his face was showing and then my eyes trailed down to his lips.

I suddenly remember the kiss this morning and I immediately froze when I didn't realize that I was very

near to his face.

I immediately back away and feel shocked before looking at him. I then look around to see if anyone do

that but I just saw that all of them are also taking a nap making me sigh in relief.

Then I saw that the chair behind him is empty so I immediately went there and sat down slowly not

wanting to wake him up.

(WHAT HECK AM I THINKING....) I scolded myself while staring down at the table while gripping my

hair in frustration.

I calmed myself before I look away and then stare at the back of this guy. I didn't continue what I was

about to do since I was confused what did just happen a while ago.

Few minutes later and I was just staring at him while waiting for Sir Tanner to come. Other students are

already inside and still he is still sleeping.

(Does he really think of sleeping until class ends) I thought while looking at him then I look at the front

and saw that Sir is still not here and it's already ten minutes pass time.

"Hey Sir Tanner is not usually late right"

"Well I guess now he is"

"Where is he, it's already time for class"

"Did something happened" I hear they say making me just turn my head in a circular motion trying to

ease the pain that I'm feeling.

"My neck hurts" I mumble while holding my neck.

Suddenly the door opened and the person in front of me suddenly got startled and wake up then look at

the time.

I resisted to chuckle at his reaction and just kept quiet. (I don't want to blow my cover but damn he

looked-- wait why am I even reacting like this)

I shake my thought and fix myself before looking in front and suddenly I got distracted again when he

yawned and look at Sir Tanner immediately not wanting to be caught sleeping.

"You're lucky that he didn't came in early or else I bet you're going to do some push ups in front of

everyone.

I look at this idiot in front and he suddenly looks around the class and sigh in relief.

"Okay good nobody run away. Everyone is present" Sir Tanner said.

He then immediately looks around and kinds of a bit confused while looking around.

(Did he think I didn't go to class?) I smirk at that.

"Are you looking for me" I said making him froze.

But what he did surprised me. He just ignores me and look in front like he didn't hear anything.

I got pissed and wanted to hit this guy but I stop myself from doing it since I don't want to be stuck in

detention again.

Suddenly everyone stands up and greeted the person who came inside.

"Good morning Headmaster" they all said in unison making me scoff at that.

"What brings you here headmaster?" Sir Tanner asked.

(Yeah what the fuck are you doing here old man) I wanted to say that too but I stopped myself.

He enters the room and talk to Sir Tanner. He looks at my direction making me look the person in front

of me nervous and become stiff.

(I guess he thought it was him his looking at) I return his look and just stare at him boredly.

I hear a deep sigh in front of me. (I guess he realized it wasn't him he was looking at)

"Why are you here?" I mutter in a monotone making the other gasp in shock.

(I can't blame them I just disrespected the headmaster but who cares) He just look away and ignored

me.

I just keep a bored expression. He spoke to Sir Tanner and I just look away not wanting to hear what

are they talking about.
