Chapter 33: Tobios' Side

Tobios' POV

When we were about to exit the office of Sir Tanner when Glen suddenly froze when he opened the

door.

He immediately jumps back and stare at the door. I was confused for a moment before I immediately

look at the door. I was shocked and surprised while looking at it.

Smokes were outside the door and it looks very familiar that I was shocked even more.

"What the hell... is that the d--" my words were stuck in my throat as I look at it.

(Why is the.... smoke of the dark abyss here)

Then I suddenly realize something.

"Are we being under attacked now-- but there are guards and warriors around the city. The enemy can't

just possible passed them, right" I mumble to myself while looking at the door.

"GLEN MOVE BACK" Sir Tanner immediately shouted and went in front of Glen then he looks at the

smoke and he sighed in disbelief.

"Why the heck is the Smoke of the Dark Abyss here" I heard him mumble making a troubled

expression while looking at the smoke.

The smoke moved and slowly started going inside the room. And when the smoke nearly touched Glen

Sir Tanner was quick enough and pushed him back.

"STAY BACK AND GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR" Sir Tanner shouted again while pushing Glen as far

away as possible from the door before closing it shut.

Me on the other hand also jumped away from the door and made a safe distance as Glen came next to

me.

"Both of you stay away from the door and the windows" Sir Tanner said before going to the window and

shut it close.

(Why the hell is this here? Where did it came from.... If this is not the work of the enemy then don't tell

me that someone is responsible for the smoke to appear)

"Wait-- KAYLEE'S JUST OUT OF THIS ROOM WE NEED TO HELP HER" I hear Glen shouted in

worry while looking at the us.

Sir Tanner just try to assess the situation and sigh at what Glen said.

"We need to wait here until the help arrives. I already contacted the security of the school" Sir said

while glancing at Glen who looks worried as heck.

I look away too trying to process what just happened as they both talk to each other.

But when I heard Glen protested even more saying that why are we not helping him. I looked at him in

confusion.

His expression is mixed with worry and fear. On the other hand, Sir Tanner still ignores him while he

talks to him.

(Of course, how can he tell him that his friend is in danger and in the verge of disappearing from this

world)

I assessed his reactions and it looks like he doesn't know what is really happening here.

"Don't tell me" I mumble to myself in disbelief while looking at him.

"Tell me, you don't know that kind of smoke do you" I asked and he looked at me in a confuse look and

when he answers I mentally facepalmed.

"Damn I never thought that you are so freaking dumb" I stated while looking at him.

(Can't he tell that that smoke is not just a normal smoke. A smoke coming from a burnt object doesn't

emits a color that dark. Oh come on) I thought in frustration while looking at this guy.

I look at Glen and he suddenly started to realize what it was and he suddenly stuttered with his words

as he looks at the door on disbelief.

(I guess he realized what it was now)

He looked at me not believing what I have said and he looks at Sir Tanner and went near him.

"What the heck is that Sir. Tell me what is happening here..." he pleaded to him making me sigh.

(The Dark Abyss is not just a place that you could just enter and return back like nothing had just

happened. If you went inside that place it’s a guarantee that you can't came back anymore)

He pleaded that he thinks I'm lying so he went to talk to Sir. He is trying to think that this is all a lie and

who wouldn't too if your friend is near from disappearing.

He shouted and suddenly shuts up making me look at him. He was taken a back and apologized to Sir

making him look at Glen sympathetic.

Sir told him what he wants to know and he immediately falls on the ground making me looked at him in

worry.

I was about to go near him when I realized what I was doing. I immediately stopped and shake my

head.

(Why am I suddenly getting worried about him) I look at them and saw Sir Tanner trying to calm him

down.

He then turned around and glare at me.

(What did I do this time) I thought while looking at him who looked really serious.

And went he spoke I nearly want to punch him in the face.

(Does he really think that this was one of my plans to take revenge on him. And if I have taken my

revenge seriously does he thinks that he is alive here and well. I would have already put him on his

place but because he also has a high background I didn't push through)

"WHAT THE HECK. ARE YOU TRYING TO BLAME ME?" I roared in anger while glaring at him.

I clenched my fist and glare at him. (I am not low like that and if I would take my revenge, I would take it

all out at you and nothing else)

"Are you losing it already" I chuckle in disbelief while looking at him.

(Seriously trying to put the blame on others)

Suddenly he shouted making me look at him in shock.

"I AM ALREADY LOSING IT SO JUST STOP THIS AND LET ME SEE HER. IF YOU WANT YOUR

REVENGE THEN THROW IT AT ME AND LET HER GO" he shouted catching me off guard.

(This guy really knows how to piss me off)

He suddenly tried to punch me but I immediately dodge it and look at him intently while catching his

arm.

(I need to make him realize what is happening today is not just a game. Someone needs to knock him

out)

I gripped unto his arm and used my power to make him feel my frustration and anger.

Sir Tanner tried to stop us but I already had enough of this person's behavior making me want to snap

his head.

He didn't move so I move my head closer to his face to his left ear and whisper something. novelbin

"If I wanted to have my revenge do you think you can survive until now..." I said in a threatening tone

making him flinch.

But then this idiot has still guts. He suddenly pushes me back making me raise my body and he glared

at me.

"PISS OFF" he bicker making me look at him in disbelief.

(He is really asking for it, aren't he?)

Then he looks at the door. I stand up and glance at the door too.

There Sir Tanner was observing the smoke and when he used magic, an electric hit him and he was

suddenly was thrown back.

"What the...."

"Sir..."

Sir Tanner flew away from the smoke and hit the table knocking it down. I was shocked at first but then

I recover immediately.

I run at the door and closed it again then went to help Sir Tanner get up. I turn around and saw Glen is

still standing there.

(He might be too shocked about what happened...)

I look at him and he was giving that expression again. He looked like he was thinking of something.

(Better tell me that he's not thinking of entering there or else I might punch him for real. I know that he

cares about that girl but he needs to secure his safety first)

I immediately went close to him. And when I was close him, he started to walk towards the door and my

guess was right. He is thinking of entering inside the door.

I immediately held his hand making him stop and stand still. He didn't turn around so I spoke.

"Don't even think of going there-" I said still holding his hands.

"But she's outside this door... and she might be in trouble" he turns around and look at me. I was

shocked to see his expression making me looked a bit worried.

He tried to protest even more and I just listen to him. He tried escaping my grip but I held it firmly so

that even if he wiggles, he can't escape.

"Please she need help... she out there" he pleaded desperately.

"Calm down calm down.... let's talk first. Relax first and we'll talk about it" I assured making him stop

and look at me.

(What the fuck am I talking about... Tobios this is not you... fuck)

He looked at me confused so I immediately turn around and walk away while holding my head in

annoyance.

(What is happening to me. Arggg) I wipe my face using my hands. I look at Glen and got kind of

amused of what is he doing.

His eyes are closed and he was kind of counting. (I bet he thinks this is all a fucking dream)

When he opens his eyes, he was so confident but when he looked around it faded and he was

shocked.

(What do you expect huh. That this will be gone in a blink of an eye)

He blinks a couple of times not believing that this is not a dream.

He even pinch and slap his cheecks while hissing in pain.

"Ouch"

I didn't notice that I was already smiling so I shrug it off.

(What the heck is really happening to me)

"This is not a dream idiot" I say while looking at him. He then looked at me then glared.

"Someone's being consumed by their unconsciousness" Sir Tanner simply stated making us look him.

"But how did this happen here" Sir Tanner said while looking at the floor.

"I'll call the headmaster" he said while getting up and fishing his phone from his pocket.

"Sir-" he walks a little bit far from us.

"- yes we are at the office and the smoke of dark abyss is just outside our door-" he said.

I raise my head and look at the ceiling while trying to think of something.

I glance at Glen and he was looking at the door again. I went closer to him but I stop.

(What am I doing.... tsk) I look at him and he was looking at his hands. Then suddenly he raised his

head making me look at him.

"No... it can't be... please it can't be...." he suddenly raise his head and look at the door.

"What do you mea-" I asked him but he ignored me and he started walking towards the door.

(What is wrong with him. How many times that it's too dangerous to go there. Can't he just stop

already) I sigh and grab his hand again and he looked at me.

"Kaylee needs my help" he said and I clenched my fist.

(Why do you always care about that girl? Can't you think for your safety too-- FUCK why am I getting

worked up)

"I can't let you go there. It’s too dangerous. You'll be sucked in by that smoke and you know what will

happen to you..... You can never get out" I abruptly said and just like what he did the past minutes he

tried to escape.

(What is wrong with him can't he see that it's dangerous)

I look at Sir Tanner and he is still talking with the phone.

"I know but she needs my help" he defended and I was surprised. I harshly let go of his hands. And

glare at him.

"So what are you going to do jump outside and find that girl huh. You'll die if you went in there. Maybe

she's-" he cuts me off.

"Don't you fucking say that" he shouted and I just smirk and chuckle like I don't care.

(Where is this bravery of yours coming from.... Oh I see... then I'll just destroy it)

I lower my head and went near his ear before talking.

"Say what... that she's already dead"

I said and he froze

(I know that it is harsh but he needs to snap out if it)
