Skyler woke up after getting kicked off the bed. He hit his head heavily against something when he landed on the ground. The blow was so painful that he instantly woke up. Skyler rubbed the back of his head as he opened his eyes with a gloomy expression on his face. He then got up from the ground. After that, he caught sight of Jocelyn, who was staring at him with a hateful expression on her face. Her eyes were teary and red-rimmed. Skyler felt the urge to murder someone early in the morning. “Jocelyn White, are you out of

He did not expect this woman to repay his act of kindness by kicking him off the bed after he just rescued her last night! Jocelyn froze the moment she saw the angry expression on Skyler’s handsome face. She stopped crying as well. Her face was filled with shock She stuttered slightly as she spoke. “Skyler…Skyler Moore, you… why are you here? Wasn’t Chad Jones with me last night?” Skyler’s expression darkened as he asked, “What‘s wrong? Do you wish for that Chad Jones to be here with you right now?“. Jocelyn was at a loss for words. She recalled how she had kicked him just now. After some time, she lowered her head and said‘in a muffled tone, “I‘m sorry!” The back of Skyler‘s head still ached. He was extremely furious. “How much is your apology worth?”
Jocelyn’s bare foot was still suspended in the air. The more Skyler looked at it, the more aggrieved he felt. Jocelyn did not know what to say. “What do you want then?”. She gritted her teeth and pointed at herself. “Why don‘t you kick me once in return?” Skyler almost laughed. “I’m amazed that you actually managed to
come up with such an idea!” Jocelyn knew that she was at fault. She stole a glance at Skyler and said, “I‘m really sorry. I mistook you as someone else!”
Skyler huffed coldly and asked, “Can‘t you take a clearer look at my face beforehand?” Jocelyn had a look of regret on her face. “My brain short– circuited just now. Besides, you still slept in the same bed as me after everything that happened last night. Of course, I‘d misunderstand things!”
Skyler narrowed his eyes and revealed a dangerous gaze. He stared at her with a dark expression on his face. “Since that‘s the case, was everything my fault?”
Jocelyn immediately shook her head. “No, no, no, how can it be your fault? It‘s all my fault. You‘re a man with a generous heart. Can you forgive me?”
Skyler huffed lightly. He did not reply to her.
Jocelyn‘s gaze glimmered as she carefully climbed up from the bed. She took a step forward as she intended to apologize to Skyler.
However, she suddenly realized that Skyler’s gaze had darkened while he looked at her.
She was suddenly stunned. She lowered her head and realized that she was completely naked. She froze and almost fell from the bed in’shock. Why was she not wearing anything?! 1
Jocelyn retreated in panic. She wanted to burrow herself in the sheets, but one of her ankles was stuck in the sheets while her other foot was on the sheets. As she moved back, she lost her balance and fell backward. She lunged forward and tried to grab at something, but ended up falling directly on Skyler. She opened her mouth in shock as she fell. Her teeth clashed against Skyler’s chin.
Skyler did not have the time to react to everything. A black shadow flashed before his eyes the moment Jocelyn fell down on him. What sin had he committed to deserve all of this?!
As Skyler felt a sharp pain in his chin, the back of his head crashed against the floor once again. He groaned in pain. Jocelyn, that d*mn woman, was still lying on top of him! Skyler‘s head had collided twice against the ground before the day had even started. He was so angry that he almost spit out a mouthful of blood. He shouted through gritted teeth, “Jocelyn White!” Jocelyn immediately raised her head. She was so frightened that she shrugged her shoulders and climbed up the bed in a hurry. She then wrapped herself up in the sheets. She cast an apologetic look at Skyler and spoke in a pitiful tone, “I didn‘t do it on purpose!”

Skyler’s chin was bleeding. His head still hurt. He closed his eyes. He got up once again. His voice was laced with rage. “Yes, you didn‘t do it on purpose. But those actions came from somewhere inside you! I shouldn‘t have f*cking…”
Skyler glanced at Jocelyn speechlessly. He was so infuriated that he turned around and left. He should not have climbed onto Jocelyn‘s bed yesterday midnight. This must be karma for what he had done!
Skyler still had a dark expression on his face during breakfast. It looked like someone had owed him millions of dollars.
Jocelyn had called Yale to ask him about everything that had happened last night while she was washing up.
Although she could vaguely guess what had happened, she still felt chills in her heart when Yale told her t story. She could think of a way to stop her father from threatening to harm her uncle in order to
force her into getting married, but he had actually resorted to such filthy means instead. Jocelyn felt extremely dazed.
Was one‘s biological father capable of doing something so treacherous?
