Yvie’s face paled as she puffed out her face in aggravation and spoke angrily, “I wasn’t buttering up anyone. I knew her a long time ago. She’s definitely not the type of person that you’re making her out to be!”
Sadly, nobody listened to her at all. Everyone was influenced by Fiona’s words.
“Ignore her. She’s Jocelyn White’s assistant. Of course, she’d speak for her. Anyways, if I had her capabilities in drawing designs, it’ll be nothing for me to gift a few drafts to my sister. She doesn’t have to force her own biological sister to such extents. She must have lost her conscience!”

Fiona cast a contemptuous glance at Yvie. Her lips curled up in scorn. Jocelyn walked over with a heavy expression on her face. She grabbed Yvie and said, “Don’t argue with them. It isn’t worth it even if you win the argument!”
After speaking, she looked at everyone and said, “Don’t be in such a hurry to take a stand. There’s still much more to come. If you take a stand too soon, I’m afraid that you’ll all be humiliated!”
After speaking, Jocelyn dragged Yvie outside.
Yvie’s eyes were as reddened as that of a rabbit. She followed Jocelyn into the elevator and apologized to her with red-rimmed eyes. “Jocelyn, I’m sorry!”
Jocelyn glanced at her and said, “Why are you apologizing? You didn’t do anything to wrong
me!”
Yvie bit her lip and said, “I shouldn’t have argued with them. I must have annoyed you!”
Jocelyn sighed in exasperation. “You didn’t annoy me. It’s meaningless even if you win the argument against them. However, regardless of everything, I’d like to thank you for speaking up for me!”
Yvie glanced at Jocelyn with a pitiful expression on her face. “Jocelyn, I…I knew about you two years ago. I know that you were joining Prosperity Jewelry. I submitted my application for the job yesterday afternoon. I really like your designs from two years ago!”
Jocelyn laughed and said, “However, I didn’t draw any other design drafts after that!”
“Isn’t that because Lily White stole all your work and plagiarized them?” There was an angered expression on Yvie’s face.
Jocelyn cast a complicated glance at her and said, “That’s because I gave it to her voluntarily back then. I can’t blame anyone for it!”
Yvie gaped without saying anything.
Jocelyn walked out of the elevator and said, “Let’s go. It’s afternoon. I’ll treat you to a meal. Be more cautious in the future. Don’t ruin your relationship with everyone in the design department. Fiona is the only one that’s going against me. There’s no need for you to become enemies with everyone else! At most times, they’re all just sheep following the leader!”
Yvie immediately nodded. She then followed Jocelyn out.
Someone interrupted Jocelyn and Yvie while they were having lunch.
Somehow, Howard had managed to find them over here. He stood in front of Jocelyn and Yvie’s dining table. He glared at Jocelyn with an angry expression on his face. “Jocelyn White, you’re pretty amazing. I’ve really underestimated you in the past!” Jocelyn frowned. She saw a lot of people around them looking over. She could not help but ask coldly, “What do you want?” Howard sneered as he looked at her. “I heard you and Skyler Moore got marr…” Jocelyn got up at once. She interrupted him straight away. “Let’s talk outside!” Howard glanced at Yvie and huffed coldly. He then walked outside.
Jocelyn comforted Yvie, who had a worried expression on her face. “Don’t worry, you should eat first!”

Howard spoke up in a heavy tone as soon as he saw her. “Jocelyn White, online, you said that I cheated on you. What about you then? You’re married to Skyler Moore. Let’s not mention how you cheated on me. You even schemed against me and caused my reputation to go down the drain! I’m facing plenty of lawsuits right now!” “If I told everyone that you’re married to Skyler Moore and everything that you posted online previously was fake since it was part of your schemes, what do you think the netizens would think?” Howard glared at Jocelyn harshly. Howard took in a deep breath and raised her brow. “That’s simple. Help me clear my name. Tell everyone that you’ve known about me and Lily being together a long time ago. Tell them that you gave me all the design drafts voluntarily. Lily White was the one who seduced me. Anyways, you didn’t have evidence to prove yourself when Lily dragged you through the mud today!”
