Chapter 3

Cherry was dumbfounded.She rushed in like crazy.

In the room, Nora intimately stayed with Charles, Cherry's husband, on the bed.Cherry was trembling all over.She had never thought that such a drama would happen to her and Charles.

Especially it was Nora, her own sister, who was having an affair with her husband.

The huge noise disturbed the two people.

They turned to look at Cherry who stood at the door with a pale face.

"Cherry?"

Nora turned pale with fright and wanted to get up but Charles pressed her down.

"Don't move!"

Charles was indifferent as if he hadn't seen Cherry at the door.

"You're back."

He put on his bathrobe and walked calmly to his wife at the door, greeting her casually as if he had just drunk a glass of water.

"Have you gotten rid of that bastard in your belly?"

Cherry was angry and paused.

In the hospital just now, Charles had left impatiently after seeing her pushed into the operating room and didn't know what happened next.

Cherry unconsciously covered her lower abdomen and lowered her head to hide the guilt in her eyes.

"It is gone," she answered softly, not daring to look into Charles' eyes.

If Charles knew that she hadn't gotten an abortion, he would have forced her to do it.

She couldn't watch her child die.

Therefore, even if she had to lie to Charles, she would Keep the child.

Although she didn't know how long she could hide it from him, she would play it by ear and think of a way when she had a baby bump.

"That's great," Charles said coldly without suspicion.

Cherry shuddered.She jerked her head up and looked at Charles's cold face and his body with Nora's lipstick.She unconsciously clenched her fists and flew into a rage again.She asked sharply, "Charles Laris, do you have anything to explain to me?"

"Explain?" Charles sneered.

"What's there to explain? Did you explain to me after you slept with another man?" Cherry's face turned pale.

"Charles, as I said, this was just an accident. On the day of our wedding..."

"Enough!"

Charles interrupted her.He looked down at her with an extremely cold expression.

"Cherry, I don't want to hear about what you did with your lover.You have betrayed me.This is the truth.Don't try to deny it!"

Sensing his disgust, Cherry became pale.She lowered her head and held back her tears.He was right.She had indeed betrayed him and had even lied to him about the abortion.She could not refute.

"Charles!"

All the anger and grievances were replaced with helplessness.

She closed her eyes sadly and sobbed, "I have wronged you.But even if you want to retaliate against me and torture me, why did you choose Nora? Why?"

If Charles had slept with another woman, she might have been able to stand it.However, she could accept that he slept with Nora.

"Why did I choose Nora?!"

Charles angrily sneered, "The reason's simple.She loves me.You keep saying that you love me, but in fact, you have never done anything for me." novelbin

Cherry looked up at him in disbelief.

She unconsciously covered the left side of her lower abdomen and asked in a trembling voice, "I have never done anything for you?!"

Through the thin fabric, she could clearly feel the scar on her left abdomen.

It was left by the kidney donation operation two years ago when Charles had a car accident.

She had even donated her own left kidney for him but now he said that she wasn't willing to do anything for him? When Charles looked down and saw Cherry's pale face, he felt a little sad.

But the next second, he sneered.

Was he insulting himself? How could he feel pity for this selfish woman after knowing what she had done? He looked away irritably and forced himself not to look at Cherry's face.

He threw the clothes next to him on Nora and said coldly.

"Nora, let's go.This place disgusts me!"

As he spoke, he slammed the door and left without looking back.

Cherry was left, trembling uncontrollably.

This place disgusted him?! He actually that said?! Before she could react, Nora stood up.

"Cherry, I have to accompany Charles to meet clients. Please clean up this place," Nora said with a sweet smile.

Seeing Cherry's paler face, Nora smiled even more smugly and put on her clothes and walked away.
