Chapter 2: Mysterious Being

Being the alpha of the new founded pack had been trying and tiring but it was worth it. My parents and I novelbin

lived in another country but I left them to leave my own life my satisfaction. Upon my arrival, I found

people of my nature and upon numerous contests, I ended up as their alpha. It was my day off work but

I was called to deliver woods to someone in the next town. Being alone in the house was a reason I

took the offer and decided to go. At the age of thirty seven, I had no mate and I had done all I could to

save myself from any woman all for the one for me.

I was supposed to go hunting with my pack on the brightest moon light then, but I decided against it. I

had been prophesied that I would find my mate on the brightest moon light and I had been searching

for her every moonlight in the city and the woods but it was to no avail. I was getting tired of doing the

same thing every month and that day was one of those days.

I drove my on the highway, to my destination, I had my iPod playing music but I was still paying

attention to the way. Suddenly, I heard a screech of tires behind the truck and I knew that someone had

almost hit the truck.

I stopped the truck to see the incident, I stepped out of it to see that it was a Benz and it had actually hit

a tree. I took a step forward but saw that another car had stopped and three men had stepped out of it.

‘This seems to be a crime scene. ’ I thought.

I turned to go to avoid any circumstances so I stepped on the stepper to enter the truck but then a

scent I loved passed by my nose. I wasn't to kill that night, if it was animals or humans. I loved the

scent of blue ixora but I didn't use it myself, as soon as I smelt it, my wolf purred within me. I was about

to enter the car but then I smelt blood coming from the same way the perfume came from. This time,

my wolf became unstable within me, it wanted to come out but I controlled it and locked my car.

I made my way to the Benz, my wolf screeched and bared it's teeth but I had no idea why it was acting

up the way it was because if the blood. It was the first time we had smelt a blood, I went closer to the

car and I saw the men coming to it too. I turned into my unseen form and looked through the car with

them, I saw the blood the wheel even though it was dark in car. The men saw that she wasn't in the car

and made their way to where she had ran to, they pulled their guns and run in her direction.

The third man with the two howled loudly and I knew that they would find her because of her blood. It

was rogue among them, as soon as my wolf felt the rogue, he purred with me annoyingly, before I

could do anything, my body started cracking up. Then it took over, and followed after the men and the

blood. We then heard howls from the other side and I knew that she might have thought that it was all

over.

‘Would she give up?’ I thought.

We took the shortest way to her and stood in the dark to see what she was going to do. We saw her

stand in the middle of nowhere contemplating on what to do.

She took a wood and ran and hid behind a tree, we approached the criminals who were now standing

at where she was before. We heard other howls from the others and we howled louder to keep them

off. This alerted the criminals and they looked our way, the rogue wanted to turn so we launched at him

first reaching for his neck and ripping it apart. Then licked the blood off our mouth.

The others looked on shock filled in their entire body making them unable to move. We could touch

their fear in the air, we went closer and growled, they took steps back and intended to run. But we

weren't having that, we jumped and our claws landed on their throats, they screamed but it ended as

soon as it came. The other guy shot his gun but we jumped out of its way and finished him off. Every

where became quiet as a grave yard and we could hear her heartbeat and her fear. But she wasn't

afraid as I thought she would, instead of cowering in fear, she was rather ready to attack. I had wanted

to turn back to a human but my wolf wanted to see her first, I knew she would be frightened if she saw

as like that but it wouldn't listen.

My wolf made his way to her and she swung the wood, I would have seen her intentions but I was too

focused with the way her heart beat along with mine in the same sync. The wood unfortunately hit my

left leg and we growled in pain, she ran away from us but then she suddenly looked back at us. And we

howled back at her as she turned and ran off once again. I would have healed immediately but I wasn't

and I knew she was a mysterious being and I hated her in my bones.
