Chapter 23: Genasi.

Logan's POV. novelbin

I took his or her or it's hands from my shoulder and swiped it he cried in pain, I looked at who it was

and saw that it was Mr. Martinez. I immediately left his hand surprised and confused as to why he had

to follow me secretly and why he still followed me even when he knew I had come the same way I had

left. He smiled weakly and whispered,

“ouch that hurt. ”

Then he saw my surprised face so he continued,

“I am sorry about this, I saw you boarding a bus in front of my company and I wanted to speak with

you. So I followed you thinking you were going to your apartment but I got more curious when I saw

you get down at here. So I decided to follow you secretly but later realized that you could be going to

your pack house. ”

I nodded and said,

“I am sorry too about your arm but please satisfy my curiosity too. You aren't human right? You are

neither pure human or vampire or wolf so what are you?”

He smiled and said,

“I knew you would ask sooner or later, don't be surprised but all my family are Genasis except my wife

who is actually human. I am telling you this because I know your nature too but apart from my wife, no

one else knows about their actual identity. ”

“Why?” I asked still confused.

He didn't answer me and made his way to the car and said,

“Let's get into the car and I will drive you to where you are going.

But there's no road to the place, we go there through the forest. ”

Mr Martinez went into thought and suddenly asked,

“Is there a river that leads or passes by your pack house?”

I nodded when I thought of the river a few meters from the pack house the only source of water at the

place and he shouted

“Perfect, please hold my hands I will take you to where you want to go just tell me where to stop and I

would. ”

I looked at him confused and inquired,

“What do you mean? how are we going to get there with me holding my hand?”

He didn't answer but he took my hand and before I could say something else, I felt myself on the river.

We stood on it and it rode us till we got to my place, I left his hand and immediately fell into the river

and he walked on it till he got to the shore. My pack stood on the shores waiting for me but went on

attack mode as soon as Mr Martinez revealed himself. I got out of the river wet and embarrassed then

mind linked them that it was alright and he was danger. They nodded and he smiled and asked

playfully,

“You just mind linked each other right? How amazing, I really wanted to be werewolf one day but I

ended up as something else. ”

My beta hurriedly brought in a towel and I started cleaning myself but I needed to change into dry

clothes so swiped my fingers and I stood dressed dried. After I led them to the house and my beta

stood there confused and I wanted to know the reason for being upset. So I called him but as soon as I

about to speak, I felt another presence apart from the ones from my pack. I looked around the place

with curiosity and saw a man dressed in all white. I was as confused as the beta was so he asked,

“Who is that? And what's he doing here?”
