Mates But Enemies

Chapter 36: Separate Them.

Two men stood opposite the restaurant beside a Benz and watched every move in the restaurant. A

few minutes later, two men and a woman stepped out of the restaurant. They immediately panicked

and one of them pulled out his phone and dialed a number. The person picked up and he said, novelbin

“Boss, they are back together what should I do?”

The person on the other line went silent for a while then said through gritted teeth,

“Follow them and do all you can to separate them, they must not know what they can do together. If

you can kill one of them, especially the genasi, I will reward you greatly. ”

The man nodded with a smile and agreed but then told his boss to give them back up because they

couldn't do it alone.

Then their boss commanded again that they must get the woman at all cost this time and not let

anything stop them. They agreed and followed them till the two men board a Toyota and drive away.

The woman stood alone looking at the car as it went away till it vanished before she looked down and

made her way to her car. They nodded and boarded their car too and followed her as she drove away.

As she drove away, she suddenly stopped the car at a junction and changed her direction of the car.

They stopped and changed their direction too, they followed her till they realized that she was leading

them out of town. Miles away and she stopped again, they didn't know what was happening till

someone cleared her voice beside their window.

They looked to see her standing there staring at them, then she asked,

“I knew you were following me a few meters away from the city center but I couldn't do anything among

the population. So I decided to bring you to somewhere quiet so you can answer to my questions

without any interferences. ”

She signaled them to get down but they rather locked their car and called their boss. And she stood

there with her hands crossed on her chest waiting for them patiently.

Their boss then commanded them to take her to him but they told him how she got to them without

leaving her car. Yet he still insisted that they do what he had asked them to do.

They then got out of the car unwilling and went on attack mode immediately, surprisingly, they turned

into crocodiles.

She watched them unaffected as they got to her but then they suddenly went on their hind legs and

started to her. She mastered some powers into her hand and aimed it to one of them. The crocodile

ended up on the car lifeless then she held the neck of the other giant crocodile. It whimpered and she

mind linked him,

“Turn into a human or you would end up like your friend here. ”

It struggled and mistakenly, his long nails sliced her hand and it was the tattooed arm that he hurt.

He eyes changed from blue to green suddenly and a force started surrounding them. The man saw that

she was changing to her true form so if he didn't do anything about it, so he suddenly changed into a

human but she still had his neck.

He quickly put his hands together and she inquired through flaming eyes and thunder voice,

“Who sent you and what's his reason for sending you?”

He quivered in fear and started urinating on himself, she put him on the floor and asked again,

Who sent you? I won't ask again.

He trembled and said in a hoarse voice,

“We are the werecrocodiles and we are there to make sure that you don't get back to your kingdom by

any means. But the only way you can is by accepting your mate the werewolf and fulfilling your destiny.

We had succeeded in separating you both five years ago so... ”

Before he could continue, his neck snapped back and another appeared in front of her. But surprisingly,

he was half a human and half a crocodile, she turned to him. But he vanished back just as he came

and the dead bodies vanished along with him.

She shouted angrily but then got down on her knees and smelt the scent the body had left behind and

promised herself that she would find them.

She turned into normal and walked to her car as if nothing at all had happened and drove away. But as

soon as she left, the man appeared again and watched her drive away.

He smiled wickedly and sneered,

“You are still immature. ”
