Chapter 4: Human Or Not.

He looked at me closely, and surprisingly said,

“If you are here to kill me then go ahead with it because the more you wait, your end draws near. ”

I looked at the boy in perplexity, and asked,

“Boy, what is your name and what are you?"

“Why do you want to know my name? if you don't know my name why did you kidnap me?” he inquired.

“Trust me, I didn't kidnap you I'm only here to help you. ” I told him

“If you didn't kidnap me, then how did you know I am here?” he asked annoyed.

“You might not believe me but I heard your heartbeat, boy why do you have this strong heartbeat? what

are you?” I asked curiously.

“Why do you keep asking me what I am? I am human of course aren't you human?” he said rudely.

“No I am not, it's weird right? you are speaking to an inhuman person yet you are here being rude. I

could rip your head off right now. ” I threatened intending to scare him but it was like hitting a ball

against the wall.

“You could do that if you want, you would have done a greater good. But since you said you are here to

save me, do that trust me I will have you paid handsomely. ” he said the least afraid.

“What arrogance? what if I don't?” I sneered.

“Well then, I will find you when I get out of here and it will be your last day on earth, human or not. ” He

smirked and threatened.

I laughed my heart out and looked his way but he didn't even have a trace of smile on his face. I smiled

nervously and looked at him and he only looked back with his face as straight as the wall.

I asked him curiously,

“You are not serious are you?”

“Of course I am, do I look like I was joking?” he asked sneering.

“No you don't, what's your name kid?” I asked because I was still curious about him.

“I am Leonardo Martinez, do you recognize the name now? what is yours?”. He said after finally

conceding.

“I don't recognize you, I am a new person in town. You can call me Ade. ” I told him.

He nodded, and I used my claws to break the padlock, he looked on amazed.

‘Well now I have gotten another expression from him, what a mysterious boy. ’ I thought.

Then I remembered I had met another mysterious person in the woods. I smirked and opened the door,

he got out and held my hands and asked excitedly,

“Are these your nails? what long nails you have, I would like to have some when I grow up. ”
