Mates But Enemies

Chapter 41: Abilities.

We made our way from the forest but not forgetting to pick as much diamonds we could carry along

with us. We got out of the now dark forest and my brother inquired,

“So are we going to see the oracle now?”

I thought for a while and told him that I wanted to see what my destiny had in hold for me but not by

knowing what was to happen first. I would just let my life move on without knowing a thing so I can

know my mistakes are mine to make and my achievements are mine to be proud of.

He nodded and tapped my shoulders and said,

“I am proud of you, that's a good decision, let's go back. If will have to travel back to the kingdom

tomorrow. ”

I nodded smiling but inquired if he was interested in the throne but he shook his head and said, he

hated having responsibility for so many people and that was the reason he left in the first place.

I nodded then asked of how many we were as if brothers. And he told me we were four brothers and I

was the youngest. The crown prince never left the kingdom but the two of us left, he was the third born

but we had another brother who envied the crown prince and so was casted out of the kingdom.

Because he had attempted to kill him several times.

I told him I needed to see Nadia before I left and I believed he wanted to see Leo too but he shoo his

head and said,

“I have never being in contact with that before and neither has he seen me before. I don't know how he

even looks like and truth be told I don't think that boy is mine. ”

I then told him not to judge before meeting him because he had our physic even though he doesn't

have his scent on him. And also i didn't think Nadia would lie to him and everyone else of someone she

didn't believe was his son's father. He nodded and we drove towards the city.

A few miles to the city and we saw a car packed in the middle of the road with men surrounding it. I

stopped the car a few meters from them when they thought we were going to ran into them and the car.

First we thought it was a robbery because we had diamonds on us but we knew that apart from us, no

one knew about them.

So we got out of the car and looked at them curiously, a man sat in the car and because it was dark,

we couldn't see his face but the moonlight shone on the gangs faces so we could make out what they

were.

One of them bowed and listened to what the man had to say and rose up then spoke,

“We want nothing from you and wouldn't want to fight or have problems with you but instead we want a

favor from you both. Don't go back to the city to that woman but go back to your kingdom peacefully.

That's all we want from you. ”

I looked at Abs and he looked back at me and we both started laughing. Then we looked at them and

asked together,

“Why should we?”

We saw what we did and went back to laughing.

They looked back at each other surprised, considering their number and physics, no one was foolish

enough to stand in front of them and talk not to talk of laughing.

They stepped closer and we did too, I looked at the man and felt his energy, he wasn't one being and

he was powerful, so I held my brothers hand and vanished into the car. Both of them looked at me

surprised because I guessed they weren't expecting that from me.

But thanks to my adopted parents, I had so many abilities in me.

I looked at him and looked down at him to see his lower body one of a crocodile, I smiled and said,

“Mr. crocodile, why do you want me to stay away from my mate?”

He looked at me and said, novelbin

“Your mate is no human and more powerful than you are. It's in the prophecy that she would kill his

mate to make her son to gain immortal life. ”

We looked at each other and I took his hand once again and vanished to the other side of the road

leaving our car behind. The men rushed to us and we started fighting them. But then the ten men

turned into twenty and we still fought then I saw that there was that particular one that stood away and

doubled them over and over again.

I stopped fighting with my brother against the fake beings and walked to that one. When he saw me

coming, he vanished but I saw that he had that ability of mine hiding from the eyes but I caught on to

him and drained all his spirit out of him.

The rest crumbled to the floor after that one turned into a dust and blew off into the air.

And I walked to the car to that man but found an empty car, so I then I finally realized that he had not

come in reality but was still at wherever he stayed but had created an illusion of himself to fool us.

We pushed the car from the road and went into ours, but a shadow that was lurking in the trees looking

at us couldn't escape our eyes. But it vanished as soon as it saw that it had being seen.
