The children quietly exited the room by turning off the lights and closing the door.
Melinda suddenly felt so out of this world as she cuddled up in Stanley’s arms and thought about his ideal persona as a man of abstinence.

“What are you thinking?” The thin lips of the man parted slightly.
“I worry that I’ll get into trouble with your mother. Or will the kids be involved in this?” Melinda recalled the attitude Stanley’s mother had that evening-
