Chapter 32 Hidden Truth

Kendra stood up and went closer to the door of Justin's office. She heard a loud voice of Justin clashing. Kendra put her ear to the door.

"Do you know how much money we've lost because of a simple mistake?What did you do yesterday? I told you this client is really important for the company. What are you thinking? You have been distructed since that new staff came. I know how expert you are when it comes in getting a woman but please focus on your job. This is not for me only, its for you too and for the company. Besides, you will be flying back to France soon so I needed you to work your job seriously and get well done.Did you understand me?"

Kendra was so shocked about what she heard. Her heart beated so fast and started her tears to fall. She thought that Gabrielle was really okay for her as she started to think and feel that she was falling for him. Eric saw her standing at the door listening to the fighting of the two bosses.

"What are you doing there Kendra?Are you listening to their fightings?"Kendra looked at Eric with her tears falling.

"Did you know anything about this?"

Eric was confused about the question of Kendra. Looking at Kendra's face felt him this kind of guilt that he could not explain where it came.

"What about? Why are you crying?What did you hear?"

Kendra couldn't even stop being emotional but she still tried not to be for so long. She wiped her tears using her hand.

"I am okay now Eric. I shouldn't be acted this way as I know me and Gabrielle have no relationship at all."

Eric didn't get Kendra at all. He knew that both had an affair already.

"Really?You guys dont have something special or something you know what I mean."

Kendra was still wanted to know the truth from Eric about Gabrielle's stay so she started asking questions from Eric.

"How long Gabrielle will be staying here in this country?Will he be leaving this country and go back to France soon?What did he say to you?"

Eric didn't know how to answer these all questions to Kendra. He was walking back and forth in front of Kendra thinking what he had to say. He went closer to Kendra sitted beside her and said with a sad face.

"Yes, Kendra! He will be leaving soon. There is something I wanted you to know. I wanted to confess. I should have told you this before Boss Gabrielle took you home alone yesterday. I knew his intention towards you. He is not as good as you thought when it comes to a commitment but he has a good heart. He has still have to learn more about relationship so please dont take seriously on how you feel about him because you will be left by him crying."

Kendra couldn't believe in what Eric replied to her and his confession. Kendra's tears started to fall again as she couldn't stop at all. She was hurt as her firstime to feel this kind of feeling.

"I am falling for Gabrielle. Is having sex make him stay?I will give it to him. Yes, I am a virgin because I m preserving it until I get married and give my virginity until the time I get married with my lifetime partner but if that is the solution to make him stay to prove that I am in love with him. I will give it to him what he wanted. That is what man wants. They needed to prove if woman loves them or not by having sex, right?"

Eric already knew that Kendra was a virgin from the start he met her so he literally not suprised on what Kendra was saying. Eric comforted Kendra so that she would stop crying.

"Kendra, dont be foolish?A lot of men in the world. There is no forever love. Couples get separated. That's the reality! Dont be harsh on yourself. So what if he would be leaving soon? Come on, Kendra wake up!!!You guys have known each other only for days. I think third day now. Am i right?You are such an innocent woman. You will learn more about the real world but this time you have to listen to me. Take it slow, forget about what you have heard a while ago and dont think to give that virginity to him because Boss Gabrielle doesnt deserve to have it. He should stay those wild women he encountered at the bars. He doesn't desereve a very good woman like you."

Eric did her best to stop Kendra being emotional. He understood the emotion of women a lot. Kendra starting to be fine and make the conversation not that emotional.

"Yes, I am too smart on other stuff like my work or career but when it comes into a relationship or emotion I am so weak. I just cant help it. Everyone deserves to be happy. Right? I dont understand this situation and my life always in diversity. I dont know when will it end. I sometimes can't help it. I am sorry Eric for showing my vulnerability and thank you for your advice but I don't know if i could do it or not."

Kendra had a rigid mind. She didn't listen to anyone's advice most of the time. She always listened to herself as she always believed and followed her heart than what people's saying and doing. Eric felt sad listening to Kendra while she was being emotional.

"I do understand what you are feeling right now. What matter most is today and you have to stay strong and forget Boss Gabrielle. He will be leaving soon maybe tomorrow?next month or the other month? Nobody knows. I also dont know when exactly he will be leaving but you got to prepare for it. Women are so emotional. You got to use your mind than your heart that's the only advice I can give you."novelbin

Kendra still couldn't understand what Eric was saying. For her, mind was boring, no excitment, joy, and fulfillment so better to follow her heart than her mind. She still continued crying.

"That's it!! I just wanted to feel happy so i followed my heart all the time because this moment is the only time we have. Nobody knows what's gonna happen to us in the next day and the other day so better to be real in myself. I have always wanted to be happy especially right from this moment but i still don't get it why do I need to know that Gabrielle will be leaving soon. It truly breaks my heart."

Eric had changed topic so that Kendra would stop crying.

"Let's go out first. Let's take a walk. Are you not hungry? Anyways,there is nothing much to do today. We can do it easily after we eat out."

Eric pulled Kendra hands to get out where she sitted up to the way out.
