Chapter 13 The Lovely Wound on Lip

Riley tasted the smell of blood in her own mouth with her lips being bitten hard by Euan who was lying

on her body. But he would not like to stop until Riley in his arms was crushed.

“You hurt me…” Riley was suffering from the pain on her lips and had to tell him with short words. She

was so overwhelmed by Euan’s rudeness that unable to hear what she said by herself.

Euan took the action as a revenge which also caused him breathe heavily. In the limited space of a car,

both of them heard each other’s heavy breath clearly; that was a stimulus made them more excited…

The tall and strong Euan heard she said hurt, slowing his move by instinct.

Euan was greatly angry at the very beginning, just then, he realized he should control himself… but he

did not move his lips from Riley’s lips, still licking and biting.

At that time, Lydia was at the gate of entertainment center just around Euan’s car. She was in a rage to

bite her own lips when watching the two persons leaning on the door and cuddling each other in the

car.

Lydia held her mobile phone in the hand with its screen bright; she dialed Euan’s number for several

times, but he did not answer any one. He should not hear the ring at all.

She did not believe Euan left her for the boring Riley.

Riley, the bitch! She should try to seduce Euan in all ways! Euan had ignored her for three years; she

still came back to get him!

As to Hendrix, his car just had a U-turn and stopped on the opposite of the parking area. Hendrix

looked at Euan and Riley through the car window.

He held the steering wheel hard and got annoyed.

He turned back and drove away madly.

The lines in the main building had been fixed; the lights were on again in the dark night. Euan and Riley

were illuminated suddenly to be clearly seen by others.

Riley was worried to push Euan away.

It was so embarrassing!

Euan held Riley’s shoulders hard and bent to see Riley who still had the power to push him after being

kissed hard by him! He hated to see her like this.

Riley did not know she was happy or upset with what happened to them a moment ago; she even could

not believe it truly happened, just watched the charming Euan. With the swelling lips, she said, “You…”

Riley intended to ask why he did it to her. Euan interrupted her first, “Don’t be silly! You are not my

type!”

Riley was disappointed at the answer, in fact, she just got some of joy. She hated to misunderstand

Euan one more time and sneered, “Great! You neither!”

Euan had a light frown and talked seriously, “Fuck off!”

Riley held tight the lap of her top, controlling her anger and sadness with all efforts. Just before talking,

she glanced at Lydia who was glad to see the argument between Euan and Riley. Soon she stopped

being angry and sneered, then she raised her heels slowly to give a kiss to Euan.

Lydia was astonished. What was Riley doing?

Riley stood back and saw the mad Lydia. Then she had a clap on Euan’s chest and smiled as a proud

princess, “Are you really the most popular single man? Just so-so.”

Riley stepped backward and kept away from Euan. There was wind blowing her long hair as well as the

skirt.

Euan looked at her with anger, with her bandage on the bleeding wound on the knee in sight. The red

of blood was too eye-catching.

“Euan!” Someone was calling the name gently; the quietness was interrupted by Lydia. With great

resentment at Riley, she stepped hard towards them.

Euan had a frown and swift his eyes from Riley’s knee to Lydia.

Lydia said, “Euan, the line is fixed. All the guests are waiting there. Since you are the host tonight, don’t

leave your guests for a nobody.”

With arms crossed over the chest, Riley watched Lydia talking with flattering and smiled to say, “You

are like the hostess tonight. As Euan’s wife, should I ask you to take good care of my husband today or

tell you to be well-behaved, not mess with me?”

Lydia sneered and said, “Riley, what are you talking about? Yes, you are Euan’s wife, so you think you

can do everything? Euan can terminate your marriage any time!”

Riley had a look at the Euan; he was a poker-face that disappointed her. She said, “Thank you. I hope

so.”

She tried to protect her last dignity; in the game involving three persons, she preferred losing all to

keeping little.

But when hearing what Riley said, Euan looked annoyed.

Leaving both of Euan and Lydia there, Riley stood straight and walked away from them peacefully with

suffering from the pain on the knee.

Euan was angry with Riley, but still watched her leaving. He knew Riley got badly hurt on her knee.

Lydia held Euan’s arm and smiled. She said, “Euan, why does she always bother you? She is too

arrogant to know who she is. You just let her be like this? Why not divorce?”

Euan did not answer her for the first words. However, as soon as listening to the last question, he gave

a fierce look at Lydia; she was shocked and looked pale.

Euan warned her, “It’s none of your business.”

“I… I worry about you…”

“I don’t need it.” Euan said to her coldly.

He avoided Lydia’s hand and continued to say, “This is your party today. You should go back to take

care of your guests.”

Lydia opened her eyes wide, “Euan, won’t you go with me?”

Euan was pulling the door of his car and answered, “I hate to repeat what I said.”

Lydia closed her mouth, not saying anything.

Euan was really mad; Lydia dared not to disturb him then. She was smart enough to know when to stay

with him and when to keep away. She had to do the right thing at the right time and in the right place.

Lydia left the parking area and started to work out a plan.

Euan looked down at the words and painting on the windshield and was angry.

Riley broke the line and ruined his car to revenge him?

She was just like a wild cat not taught well. Euan thought about her with great interest. novelbin

Riley kept walking and stopped until she was sure that Euan would not see her anymore. She was in

great pain sitting on the edge of the road and had a look at her wound on the knee. It did hurt!

She did not know when the lock of her apartment to be fixed; she did not take her ID card so that she

could not check-in in a hotel. Riley was afraid she would sleep over on the road tonight.

She sat there with carrying her knees in her arms; for the first time, she found it extremely poor to be

homeless.

To make her more miserable, her mobile phone powered off when she was trying to call for help.

But Riley started to laugh after being so upset.

One would first get mad before going to hell.

Just then, there was some car light from her back. It was too strong that Riley had to block her eyes

with the hand; after a while, a car stopped in front of her.

In her mind, Riley expected that finally her prince came to save her!

But she was not as lucky as expected!

The window was swift down; she saw the poker face. Euan put one hand on the edge of the window;

good-looking as him under all the light, he still appeared to keep everyone far away.

Euan said, “You made my car dirty! Come to clean it.”

Riley twitched her mouth, “Who told you I made it?”

Euan was impatient to say, “Don’t argue with me for anything I order!”

Listening to this, Riley gritted her teeth, but it provoked her pain on the bitten lips as well as on the

knee.

She just thought, “Euan, someone up there always wants us to see each other. I will get misfortune for

sure whenever meeting you.”

Riley put one hand on the well knee on purpose to let Euan see the hurt one. She turned to look at him.

Under the street light, she was not a cold fish any longer, like a lady more.

Riley did not find Euan showed some care about her; just a little was too difficult to see.

She said, “I can clean your car. But I don’t have any tool for now. What if I break the car?”

“Be careful!”

Riley ignored Euan’s words and stood up to say, “Ok.”

She pulled the car door of the passenger seat to sit in and fasten the safety belt, “Please, wherever.”

Just then, Riley was too aggressive to be like a lady. Euan was annoyed with what she was like and

speeded up his car. Riley was almost broken in the fast speeding car.

The car stopped at the gate of YJ Villa.

It was rather quiet inside the car. Riley pretended not to see where they were and guessed what Euan

would like to do soon.

Euan ordered her, “Get off.”

Riley was moving out, but the pain from her wound being pulled caused her fall back on the seat.

Before she realizing what to do next, Euan got off the car to walked to her side. Without her permission,

he pulled the car door hard to carried her in his arms.

There was a bombing in Riley’s mind much powerful than the kiss she just got from Euan tonight. Riley

could not think about anything.

She felt shy and got greatly pink on her cheeks.

He was trying to make her feel better?

Euan felt Riley’s nervousness from her tense back; he was afraid that Riley would misunderstand him.

He told her, “Don’t lose your mind! I am just happy to use a cleaner free of charge.”

Finally, Riley knew she should not expect too much from Euan who always refused to be nice to her.

She only said, “Don’t worry. As a definitely smart person, I will not do anything stupid as you think!”
