Mr George, Don't Be So Arrogant

Chapter 15 IQ Was Too Low To Match Her Shot

Chapter 15 IQ Was Too Low To Match Her Shot

Freya's legs turned to jelly the moment she saw the surveillance footage, while her hands holding the

mouse trembled uncontrollably. Her eyes stared at Riley like they had lost focus, and from the tone of

her voice just now, Freya could tell that Riley was not going to throw her hand in.

"What do you want?" Although Freya was trying hard to stay calm and unnoticed, her voice betrayed

her as soon as she opened her mouth.

Freya was nothing but a paper tiger.

Riley looked at Freya, who was scared out of her wits, and suddenly felt sad for her, "You ask me what

I want? My good sister, that's what I want to ask you, what do you want?"

Freya froze and sank herself into the boss chair, a chill running down her back. She looked up at Riley

and didn't say anything as she was more afraid she might say the wrong thing.

Seeing that Freya was already scared like that, Riley said, "Today, you blocked my keyhole, so

tomorrow are you going to block my mouth forever? Freya, do you think I should block your mouth first

before you block mine?'

Freya's eyes suddenly widened twice as wide. She looked at the imperturbable Riley in a daze, her

heart was overwhelmed with guilty conscience and uneasy, but then she took a deep breath.

She couldn't be defeated by Riley, everything was just the beginning!

"Riley, what are you freaking out about in my office! Get the hell out of here! Get out!" Freya pointed at

the door to drive Riley away, but the latter looked indifferent.

"What's your hurry? When I want to go, I'll go on my own, but right now, I don't want to go yet."

Riley randomly drew a document from the file basket and flipped through it, then tapped her fingers on

the table again and again. "Freya, are you going to apologize to me now, or are we going to appoint a

lawyer?"

Every word she said in a tone that was neither joking nor serious carried a lot of weight, making Freya's

heart pound when she heard the words.

"You want me to apologize? In your dreams! Riley, yes, I was the one who sent someone to block your

door! Not only do I want to block your door, I also want to kill you!"

Freya stood erect, but her body was trembling with rage. Her finger pointed at Riley's forehead, with

the urge to kill her.

Riley smiled faintly. She looked up at Freya, who instantly took off her ladylike disguise and acted like a

madwoman.

It was really no fun talking to Freya.

She liked someone smarter or someone who was at least not as dumb as she was.

Freya was simply not worthy of being her opponent.

"Oh, want to kill me? Let me give you a chance. You don't have to play any tricks, just kill me now."

Riley's eyes always had a faint smile in them, and her smile didn't even give a hint of sarcasm.

After living with Freya for so long, she would be a failure if she didn't understand how this woman's

brain was structured.

Freya grabbed a folder and tried to smash it at Riley, but luckily there was still a sliver of sanity left in

her mind. In the blink of an eye, Freya smiled, slowly put down the folder and sat back in her chair.

"Riley, since you have the evidence in hand, why don't you just go to the Public Security Bureau and

report it? When the officers of the Public Security Bureau take me away and sentence me to a few

years in prison, you can get all the Watson family's property back, can't you? But..."

She smiled even more smugly and arrogantly. "What do you think will happen to the company's stock

once the media learns that the Watson family's general director has been arrested and jailed for a

confrontation with her sister?"

"You should have heard about the operating status of the family business. If Mom and I hadn't done our

best to support it, the Watson family would have gone bankrupt!"

After Freya finished her words, she hooked her scarlet lips and moved her upper body up slightly,

staring at Riley.

Riley clenched her fist, she didn't expect a woman with such a low IQ like Freya would actually figure it

out.

She didn't hand her over directly to the police for fear of causing a domino effect. She had thought of

completely exterminating Freya and her mother in one blow, but considering the consequences, she

didn't dare to act rashly.

But, who was Riley?

"Do you think I care much for the Watsons' property? You probably forget that I am the young mistress

of the George family, Euan's wife. One finger of Euan can decide the survival of the Watson family, do

you think I really don’t dare to touch you?"

"Hahahaha! The young mistress of the George family?! Do you really think of yourself as the daughter-

in-law of the George family? If Euan thought of you as his wife, would he still be constantly exposed in

the media with Lydia and not say a word about you? My dear sister, it's so pathetic that you don't even

know you've been dumped!"

Riley's fair, slender fingers tapped on the table, over and over, while raising her eyebrows." Do you

want to bet on the assets of the Watson family? To see if I have the ability to do so or not?"

The muscles in Freya's face tautened, "You ..."

"And, if something like this happens again, it won't be as simple as giving you a warning. Of course, out

of consideration for the reputation of the Watson family, I won't turn you over to the police, but there are

plenty of ways in this world to shut a person up forever. I have ten thousand ways to keep your mouth

shut, and likewise, I have ten thousand ways to make people not believe your words."

Riley kept a smile on her face, and the ripples in her pupils had the power to make people's blood

creep.

"What are you trying to do?!"

"I told you my purpose long ago, apologize to me."

Riley and Freya stared at each other, and Freya gritted her teeth, refusing to do that.

"I'll only give you ten seconds, and if I still don't hear your apology, I'll have to pay you back the way

you did to me."

Riley looked straight ahead, the face of the woman in front of her turned an unnatural shade of purple

from anger. Her five fingers clenched into fists bit by bit, but she didn't dare to do anything.

Riley was Euan's wife. Although he didn't care about her and even had an affair with another woman,

she was still the daughter-in-law of the George family after all, so her words still carried a lot of weight.

Freya, who didn't know the inside story, had scruples about her.

Stiffening her neck and gritting her teeth, Freya spat out three words, "I'm sorry."

Riley arose slowly from her seat, afraid to tear her wounds, then she looked down at Freya with a half-

smile. "I'll leave this CD for you to keep. Oh, by the way, I'm afraid you'll lose it, so I've got a few copies

for you. If you accidentally scratch the CD, I can give you another one."

Freya's teeth chattered, "Get out!"

"Give my regards to your amazing mom and tell her to cherish the days living in the Watson family villa,

because maybe one day in the future..."

"Get out of here right now!"

Once again, Freya stood up, pointed at the door and growled. This time, she had completely stripped of

her disguise, revealing her grumpy, capricious and brainless side.

"It seems that you already knew that in your heart." She added, then smiled faintly.

Riley walked out of the Watsons office building with light and nimble steps. Sitting in the car, she looked

at the logo hanging on the building.

"Riley, do you like this?"

Seven- and eight-year-old Riley was held in her father's arms as her little hands touched the craft with

the Watson Group's logo on it, and she smiled sweetly. "I love it!"

"When you grow up, help Daddy manage the company, okay?"

At that time, Riley thought for a moment, blinked her big eyes a few times, then shook her head and

said, "No, I don't want to manage a company, I want to be a doctor."

Riley's father stroked his baby daughter's head and asked, "Why do you want to become a doctor

instead of managing a company?"

Riley pursed her lips, "Because, when I become a doctor and learn the art of medicine, I can save

many people. If I become a very competent doctor in the future, when Daddy gets sick, I'll be able to

cure Daddy!"

Riley believed that if she had been a good doctor, her mother would not have died from illness.

Shaking her head, Riley pulled herself back from the memory.

Now, she couldn't help but wonder if she was wrong to give up her father's company in the first place.

At this moment, her phone rang.

"Dr. Watson, please come to the hospital immediately."

Something happened again?

"Which patient this time?"

Riley buckled her seatbelt, answered the phone with her Bluetooth headset, then started the car and

headed to the hospital.”

"This case is already a big deal. Dr. Watson…you may get into trouble, but don’t worry yet, Dean

Houston and Director Patrick are already working on it."

Serena's voice was very nervous, the chaos behind her could still be heard despite the glass door.

"What's going on?"

"The patient transferred to our department yesterday had a sudden myocardial infarction an hour ago

and we were not able to resuscitate him ..."

Yesterday? He was a patient of Riley's.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Riley floored the gas pedal. The consequences of a patient's sudden death varied in severity. If it was

serious, she really would be in trouble.

"The patient was treated well at first, nothing was wrong, but then he suddenly..."

"I got it, I'm going over there now!"

"You...come in through the back door later. The patient's family is making a scene and insisting that the

hospital give them a statement. Also, the patient's family mentioned your name and said they want to

see you, so you come over here first and see what Dean Houston will say."

Riley drove to the hospital as fast as she could, and just as she stepped out of the elevator, she heard

someone burst into a storm of curses.

"Unethical hospital! Unethical doctors! Give back my husband's life!'

"You irresponsible black-hearted liars!"

"...you all will die sonless!”

Serena slipped out of the side door, took Riley by the hand and tried to take her away. "Dr. Watson, the

patient's family is irrational right now, and you can't confront them head-on. If they hit you, you'll be

killed."

Riley frowned, "They wouldn't dare, I'll have to explain that to them."

"What do you want to explain? If they would have listened to the explanation, they would have left long

ago! Dean Houston has just been escorted back to his room by security, so you can meet him in his

room now."

Riley nodded, "Alright."

"That's her! That's her! She's my brother's doctor in charge!"

Before Riley, who was dressed in casual clothes, could enter the elevator, a large group of people novelbin

behind her rushed to her like the beasts. "You killed my son! You give me back my son! Give me back

my son!"

About seven people blocked Riley's path and the middle-aged woman leading the group grabbed Riley

by the hair and beat her up!

"You son of a bitch! You're a murderer for money!"

"Beat her to death! Beat this bitch to death to avenge my brother's death!"

The security guards tried to clamp down on the agitated bereaved family members, but they grabbed

Riley like a maniac and didn't let go of her. Riley frowned, then tilted her head and yelled angrily,

"Stop!"

A cold and horrifying bellow of rage put the bereaved family members in a trance and surprisingly

stopped their actions.

Riley's long hair was torn until it hung loosely over her shoulders, and her collar was disheveled from

the tussle. Her expression was solemn without a hint of panic, and her palms had long been wet with

sweat.

"I'm the patient's doctor in charge, and I'm sorry for his sudden death, but you should know very well

that his condition has…"

"We don't listen to this! You're a liar!"

"Get her! Beat her to death!"
