Chapter 10: Donate Blood Again 

At lunchtime, Rebecca and Caroline went to the school dining hall to have lunch.

Along the way, they could hear many discussions on the post about Rebecca on the school forum.

Caroline was ignited and wanted to argue with those people, but was stopped by Rebecca.

Just as they got the food and were about to find a table, there was a sudden commotion in the dining hall.

"Rebecca, look, it's Linda and Adam.’ Caroline pulled Rebecca's sleeve and shouted as she saw two people walking into the dining hall hand in hand.

Rebecca looked at Adam and Linda seriously.

‘Why does Linda approach Adam and want to marry him? Is it really because of love? Could it be because she wants to take revenge?’ Rebecca couldn't help but wonder.

Caroline was so excited that she even forgot that Rebecca was slandered.

Rebecca looked at her with contempt and patted her on the shoulder.

She then found a seat nearby and sat down, enjoying her meal with her head down.

However, screams became louder as Adam and Linda approached Rebecca.

"Hey, Rebecca, look.Adam and Linda are coming to us!"

Caroline was so excited.

Rebecca didn't look up until Adam and Linda stood beside her.

"Rebecca, it wasn't me who posted the apology letter on the school forum.I saw it this morning and hurriedly deleted it.I hope it hasn't caused any trouble for you!"

Linda leaned against Adam's arms and explained sincerely.

Her ear-pleasing voice quieted down the dining hall.

"It was my suitcase that hurt you yesterday, after all.Now that it isn't your work, you don't need to apologize to me,"

Rebecca said casually.

"Linda, what happened yesterday has nothing to do with Rebecca.Although the suitcase belongs to Rebecca, it slipped down from my hand.The person who posted the apology letter on the school forum is definitely a rat.I think he did this just to stir up a war between you and Rebecca,’ Caroline cursed as if she was defending both of them.

But at this time, Adam's face became sullen.

No one noticed the change in Adam's expression, except Rebecca.

She pulled Caroline up and said to Linda, "Miss Green, I'm fine.Thank you for explaining it!"

Linda smiled gracefully, "Then I'm relieved.Bye.’ Rebecca nodded.

"Bye."

Rebecca saw them leave, feeling a little sad.

'No, I can't cry in public.I gotta hold back these damn tears in my eyes.

In the afternoon, Rebecca stayed in the library after finishing her class, always being absent-minded.

Suddenly, the phone vibrated in her pocket, pulling her back from the muse.

It was Julia.

Rebecca immediately went outside and picked it up.

"Hello.."

"Rebecca, come to the hospital right now!"

Julia's anxious voice came to her ears instantly.

Rebecca frowned, "What's wrong?"

"I have no time to explain it.All in all, Adam was stabbed.Come to the hospital in a hurry!"

Rebecca shuddered, a bone-chilling chill running through her body.

"Okay, I'll be there soon.’ Rebecca rushed to the hospital, leaving her books behind in the library.

"Mrs.William, please don't drive me away.I really love Adam.’ Linda begged with tears in her eyes in the hospital.

"Anyone, pull her away!" Julia ordered.

"Yes, madam!" a bodyguard immediately stepped forward and was about to pull Linda out of here.

"Please believe me and don't separate us.I want to see Adam! Please!"

"Linda, do you really want my son to die?"

"No…”

"Pull her away!"

Julia roared again.

"Yes, madam.’ The bodyguard immediately picked Linda up and threw her out.

"Please let me see Adam!"

Linda cried desperately on the way.

Rebecca, who reached the hospital, was stunned by this scene.

"Rebecca, why are you here?"

Linda asked with her eyes wide open.

"Rebecca, why are you still standing there? Come over here!"

Julia shouted.

Rebecca regained her senses and strode to the emergency room.

At this time, the door of the emergency room was pulled open.

"Where's the blood donor? Hasn't she been here?"

A doctor shouted at the door.

"Here she is!"

Julia pushed Rebecca forward.

Rebecca looked up and saw a man covered in blood on the operating table in the emergency room.

She shivered with fear and immediately looked away.

"Are you sure?"

The doctor asked Julia to confirm it.

The doctor pulled Rebecca inwards.

As blood was drawn out of Rebecca's body, she felt sick in the stomach and wanted to throw up.

"It’s going to be finished soon.Hold on!"

The doctor couldn't help but soothe her when seeing her face turning pale.

As time went by, Rebecca began to shiver with cold, her forehead full of cold sweats.

"It's...so...cold..."

Rebecca stuttered in a low voice.

"Go get her some quilts and glucose nutrient solution. Hurry up.’ Adoctor shouted.

"Okay."

The nurse replied and did as ordered.

When the liquid slowly flew into her body, she didn't tremble any more, but fell into a sound sleep.
