Chapter 2: Even Being Inferior to a Dog

In the next instant, he raised his hand and used all his strength to push Rebecca away.

"Ah!"

Rebecca screamed as she stumbled backward and heavily fell to the ground.

"Who the hell are you? What do you want from me?"

Adam struggled to sit up and stared fiercely at Rebecca.

"Mrs.William, what's wrong with you?"

The nurse who was walking in the hallway heard the sound and rushed in.

Rebecca shouted as she chased after him.Adam then flung the phone back without looking back.

"Where is Adam? Why didn't you follow him out? Even a dog knows to follow its master.You're really a good-for-nothing! I shouldn't have allowed you to marry into our family."

Adam's mother, Julia, was scolding Rebecca who was standing quietly with her head down.

Arthur, who was pulling a long face, took a deep breath and sighed, "Rebecca, as Adam's wife, you should keep an eye on him and don't let him have anything to do with other women.’

Rebecca then looked up at Arthur who was sitting on the sofa and nodded, "Dad, I see.I'll try my best."

Julia took Adam's hand and walked into the living room joyfully.
