Rebecca cleaned up the mess, then simply cooked three dishes and came out of the kitchen.

It was already almost 10 p.m.

When the meal was ready, Adam carried Linda down the stairs without calling.

Seeing Rebecca standing by, rooted, Adam said, "Go get the rice.Why are you just standing there?"

His voice was neither cold nor angry.
