Chapter 16: I'm on my way

Why does my head hurt so much? I groaned and willed my eyes to open. What the hell? I was in a

small cell with dirty bars and I sat up on a bed with blood stains on the sheets. Am I in prison? I wonder

who I killed? I really hope it's Vanessa; if it is, it was totally worth it.

I tried to remember what happened before I ended up here. Then the moment where I stumbled upon a

few creepy guys flew back to my mind. They had kidnapped me! But why?

If I had ever known that I was going to die at 17, I would have actually sat back and enjoyed my

childhood. "You're awake", a voice too loud for my liking boomed. I jumped a little but tried to remain

calm. "Who are you and where am I?", I asked my kidnapper. He was hidden in the shadows so I

couldn't see who it was but I knew from the voice that it was a male. He did not answer so I attempted

to repeat myself but he interrupted me. "You can call me Ryan", he replied sounding clearly annoyed. novelbin

Then he added, " Don't even try escaping because you can't. And no one is going to find you here", he

finished and sat back on his chair and started reading what I think is a newspaper. I rolled my eyes and

sat back down on the bed. "Someone is going to find me and they are going to lock your sorry ass in

prison", I told him. Ryan laughed. "Is that so, human?", he asked. What did he just call me? We all

are.... Right?

"Why did you just call me a human? We all are humans", I rolled my yes once more because I didn't

want him to know that I was curious. "Oh, there are so many things that you don't know. So many

things." Ryan went back to reading his newspaper, and I found myself comforting myself.

Liam's POV

I was taking a quick walk around the forest because the rogue attacks around this area were

increasing. But then my eyes came upon something I had not expected to see. There were two men

putting a girl into a the back seat of their car. Her tall blonde hair fell over the man's shoulder and I

couldn't but wonder who she was. She seemed so familiar so I decided to take a closer look. Even if

she wasn't someone I knew, I would still help her; so. Ethjg didn't seem right. As I approached the men,

a scent I was familiar with warded off of them. They were rogue! I finally got a look of the girl' face: it

was Emerald! Rogues were kidnapping Emerald?! She had the most pleasant smell and it almost got

rid of the putrid smell the rogues had. Emerald had been on my mind, a lot. She had such a wonderful

smell that I couldn't quite place, or resist either. My wolf was restless from that time I saw her and my

beta, Spencer and he was avoiding me but suddenly he appeared.

'M', my wolf said. 'What?' Sometimes he made no sense at all. Her repeated the same letter again and

disappeared. As the van pulled away, I could not help feeling like I was attached to a string and it as

pulling me with it.

I mindlinked her parents and shifted into my wolf although I felt a bit discouraged. Don't worry Emerald,

I'm coming to get you.
