Chapter 16 Thinking of Her Again and Again

Byron’s brows were slightly furrowed and there was irritation in his gaze.

Had his eyes deceived him again?

Once or twice, he could let it slide but it had been two consecutive days of him seeing that silhouette at two different places.

It was just that…that silhouette had only flashed by before his eyes, and then there was no trace.

Byron could not help hissing coldly as he looked away.

He must truly be possessed to be thinking of that woman again and again!

“Sir, the customer has been waiting for a long time. Are we not going to go in still?”

Yves asked her to take a seat in the main seat while he sat beside her. Then, he introduced to the crowd. “Most of you have seen Dr. Jacobs during the day, but now I would still like to solemnly introduce her to everyone.”

They all looked in Rosalie’s direction and she nodded calmly, saying hello.

“This is Rosalie Jacobs, Dr. Jacobs. You might not be familiar with the name Rosalie Jacobs but I’m sure everyone is familiar with her alias abroad, Janet, a proud student of Professor Luke’s.”

Hearing the name, the crowd was stunned. It took a while before they finally started coming to their sense with admiration in their eyes.

Janet, this was a name that everyone who studied medicine had heard before. It would not be an exaggeration to say that it was a famous name abroad.

After all, her medical skills had been top notch at such a young age, and it was said that she has inherited 80% of Professor Quentin’s skills. She was a model for the younger generation!

They had always thought Janet would be a cool academic with short hair, glasses, and a solemn expression.

With that, she took the lead and raised her glass.

The crowd raised their glasses one by one and downed their drink.

Rosalie was very friendly and was not arrogant at all. The staff respected her even more.

Dinner went on happily.

Many others came to propose a toast and Rosalie accepted them one by one.

She had not bad of an alcohol tolerance but with so many people coming over, she had unintentionally gotten a little drunk.

Seeing that the dinner was almost over, Rosalie informed that she needed the bathroom before getting up and heading over to the bathroom to wash her face and wake herself up slightly.

Rosalie took a look at it. The two little one at home had been the ones to send it and they were asking when she would go back.

Seeing this message, a warm smile appeared in Rosalie’s eyes. She was just about to stop and reply.

When suddenly, someone bumped into her shoulder so harshly that her mobile phone almost flew out of her hand.

Rosalie gripped her phone tightly and immediately apologized to that person. “My apologies…”

She did not finish her apology. The man raised his voice angrily, “Do you not have eyes? F*ck, this night really sucks!”

As he said, the strong smell of alcohol wafted from his mouth.

Rosalie frowned slightly and subtly put a distance between them.

The drunk man got a clear look at her face and his voice screeched to a halt. He even forgot to shut his mouth as he stared straight at her.
