My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 24

Chapter 24

Chapter 24

Bradley had never imagined that he and Esther had crossed paths 20 years ago.

Clark did not say anything and just looked at him in silence.

Bradley stood up. The moment he left the study, he pulled out his phone to call Jasper.

“Jasper, which hospital is Esther in?”

Jasper sat next to Esther in People’s Hospital ward with the injuries he suffered from his brawl with

Bradley.

When he saw the incoming call on his screen, he answered it and slowly walked to the balcony.

“Mr. Warner, as you wish, Esther’s half dead now. If you come now, you might be in time to collect her

corpse.”

Jasper’s tone was menacing and mocking.

Bradley hung up without a word and called Cole.

“Cole, which hospital is Esther in?”

“People’s Hospital.”

By the time Bradley drove to the junction in front of People’s Hospital, he received Liliane’s call.

“Brad, Felix’s awake! Felix woke up!”

Bradley, who had planned to see Esther, asked his chauffeur to turn to the Warner Group’s private

hospital without hesitation when he received Liliane’s call.

Jasper stood on the balcony and took a deep breath before returning to Esther’s side.

Esther, who was on the bed, cried in her dream.

Jasper patted her arm and called out softly, “Esther. Esther, wake up…”

Esther was startled awake from her nightmare. She looked at Jasper in tears and sobbed. “Jasper, I

had such a scary nightmare. I dreamed that Tinkerbell died.”

Jasper turned away quietly when he heard that so Esther would not see his reddened eyes.

Esther immediately recognized that Tinkerbell’s death was not a dream from his reaction.

Her daughter… Her daughter, whom she had yet to reunite with, had died right before her eyes.

“Esther, I know that Tinkerbell’s death is hard to accept, but it has already happened. We have to be

brave and look forward.

“Tinkerbell isn’t with us anymore, but Pixie is still here. I’ll look for her with you and recompense

everything Tinkerbell didn’t get to have to her.

“And Tinkerbell grew up in the welfare home. She never got to know what a princess life is like. Esther,

if that incident didn’t happen, Tinkerbell would have been the apple of your and Bradley’s

eyes.

“We should give her a nice funeral now and let her say goodbye to this world like a princess.”

When Esther heard that, an unprecedented feeling of hatred shot up from the bottom of her heart.

She pulled the IV drip off her wrist in front of Jasper, not caring that blood was dripping to the floor from novelbin

where she was pierced with the needle.

She ran barefoot toward the morgue.

“Esther!”

Jasper gave chase and saw Esther finding Tinkerbell in the morgue. She did not care that the staff was

stopping her as she forcefully hugged Tinkerbell in her arms.

“Jasper, I want to see Bradley. I want to prove to him that Tinkerbell’s really his daughter!”
