Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 26 – Blind by Love

Janet became so angry after hearing that her father’s favorite collection had been sold by Conrad.

Her father was very fond of collecting antiques during his lifetime. The Longfellow family had a lot of

porcelain and jade wares, and missing one or two was no different.

But that was her father’s favorite thing during his lifetime. It was his treasure, but Conrad sold it!

Her face sank for a moment, her beautiful eyes turned cold, and her drooping fingers tightened silently.

It was undeniable that she was very angry. Conrad spent her family’s money, lived in her family’s villa,

and dominated her family’s company. In

return, he sold her father’s favorite collection!

Seeing her attitude change, Ernest continued, “I happened to make two invitations. You can take back

your father’s collection, and I can get a date.”

She was so angry, and her beautiful eyes narrowed. “Where is the auction? Who is the organizer?”

Just as she was about to answer, Ernest raised his head and caught a glimpse of the video being

played in a loop.

He had personally witnessed this amazing scene of her slapping that f**kboy Nathaniel last night with

his own eyes, but now watching the scene of last night repeated in the video, he still felt happy just

watching it.

“Yes! He deserved that.”

Ernest stared at Janet’s slightly raised mouth, and her face full of pride in the video, and his lips

couldn’t help but sneer, “Well done. You have to do the same in the future. You should kick more a*ses

when you are sober as well, not just when you are

drunk”

“Have you seen enough?”

Ernest didn’t stop after hearing her words. Instead, he excitedly grabbed the phone, turned the sound

to the maximum, and shook the phone in front of her. “A scene more exciting than Super Bowl is not

enough for a hundred times.”

Looking at the sassy Janet in the video, he pursed his lips in excitement. Nathaniel was not a simple

character. Since he took over Webster Group, he led it out of the bottleneck time in just two years and

was at the forefront of all enterprises. There was a reason for everyone to call him Hades in the

business world.

And with his status and means, it was so easy to investigate someone.

However, diamond cut diamond..

Jill’s hacking skills were top in the world, which made Ernest very proud.

“Nathaniel didn’t find any of your identities. After being married to you for so long, he always thought

you were an ordinary girl to be his wife. He didn’t find any clues. He’s so weak and useless. Wasted my

high hopes for him.”

He sighed deeply and was very proud of her superb hacking skills, “Yes, it would be difficult for him to

check a tenth–level hacker. Just rely on your hacking skills, no matter how awesome the person he

hired is, if you don’t want him to find you, he won’t be able to find out your true identity for the rest of his

life.”

While talking, Ernest suddenly thought of something and couldn’t help shaking her head, “It’s okay to

suck at hacking, but he was also blind. You were so kind to him, putting him before you in everything,

but he didn’t like you. He likes a wh*re who has been cheating on him with multiple men. Does he think

he is topical enough?”

Standing there, Ernest quietly looked at her expressionless face. He felt nauseous thinking of finding

out everything Anastasia Lambert had done abroad over the years.

“You don’t know what Anastasia has been doing abroad. She claimed that she was going abroad for

further studies, but in fact, she didn’t focus on studying her profession. Instead, she seized every novelbin

opportunity to h**k up with other men, especially big

bosses. The bigwigs she has contacted in the circle covered different genders and races from all over

the world.”

“Promiscuous, hypocritical, fake, scheming, unscrupulous, and dirty in the heart. She insulted Janet as

a side chick who destroyed other people’s relationships even though she is the side chick.”

“In order to get what she wants, she even offered her own body. She had sex with many men and

women, flattered all kinds of

bosses, and did all kinds of bad things. Now she became the innocent dancing queen? And be an

idol?”

Ernest had already found out everything Anastasia had done aboard as early as when Janet’s divorce

turmoil was pushed to a

climax by Anastasia, creating rumors that she and Nathaniel were going to marry, and insulting Janet

as a side chick in various

ways.

When mentioning the things that Anastasia had done abroad these years, Ernest smiled with sarcasm,

“I don’t understand

that Anastasia is such trash, but why on earth would Nathaniel make old Mr. Webster mad sick

because of her? I really wonder

if there is something wrong with his brain.”

Janet didn’t care about what he said about Anastasia, but hearing old Mr. Webster was sick, she felt

heartache because old Mr. Webster treated her well when she was in the Webster family. She asked

distressedly, “Was old Mr. Webster sick? When did he get sick?”

“Just when the news of you and Nathaniel got divorced was first exposed,” Ernest said.

She got in a bad mood because old Mr. Webster was very kind to her.

Now he was sick, and she was upset that she couldn’t even check on him anymore.

She looked at Ernest with cold eyes, “You don’t understand him. With his love for Anastasia, he could

have been waiting for so long. She is as pure as the silver moon in his heart. He may be able to accept

the things she did.”

“Leave this sl*t to me, and I’ll help you teach her a lesson.”

She shook her head, with a dignified and serious expression on her face, “No, Nathaniel and I have

already divorced, and I

don’t want to interfere in any of his affairs.”

Her face was cold, and her heart trembled because of what Ernest said about Anastasia’s

achievements when she was abroad.

How could she not feel anything?

After all, it was the person she had liked and loved for ten years.

Now, he was going to marry another woman. In the future, he and Anastasia would have their baby, live

a happy life as a

family, and grow old together.

But, all she got was the memory of liking him for ten years.

Hearing her cold tone, as usual, Ernest respected her decision and said nothing more.

The morning light shone through the tulle curtains, and the huge bedroom was filled with the smell of

nicotine that had not gone away for a long time.

A sleepless night.

Nathaniel’s ink–like eyes were red from exhaustion, and there was a trace of weariness on his

handsome face.

The sound of needles falling could be heard in this quiet bedroom,

The slender figure of the man was sitting in front of the dark brown wooden table with half a cigarette

butt between his fingertips, and he pressed it forcefully into the ashtray. Janet was still in a daze frame

by frame before his eyes.

A knock on the door suddenly sounded, breaking the silence in the room.
