Soon, the phone was answered. Melvin handed the phone to Arabella, and Arabella put it on her ear.

The next second, she heard Janelle's familiar voice. "Hello? Hello? Mr. Spencer? Why don't you say

anything... When can I see Ms. Snyder..."

Janelle had always called Arabella's mother Ms. Lynch and called Arabella Ms. Snyder. Ten years had

passed and Arabella had already grown up, but Janelle still called her in the same way.

The rims of Arabella's eyes were red with tears instantly. Everyone had changed, but Janelle, who

loved her all the time, hadn't changed at all. "Hey, Janelle, it's me! Arabella!"

"Ms. Snyder? Is that really you?" Then Janelle coughed violently at the other end of the phone.

Immediately, Arabella knew that Janelle had suffered a lot in the past few years and was badly ill, like

she was dying now.

Arabella held the phone tightly and said nervously, "Janelle, what..."

However, before she could finish her words, Melvin directly snatched the phone and hung up. "Now

you should know that I didn't lie to you!"

Then, Melvin slowly walked toward Arabella.

Arabella took a step back and snapped, "Don't come any closer! The deal between us was that I would

only have sex with you if you let me see Janelle."

Melvin frowned. His face darkened. "Arabella, I think you're missing the point! Now it's you who are

begging me to free Janelle!"

"You're the one who didn't get it right, Melvin! Don't forget! It's you who want me!"

Janelle to me."

Melvin froze in place for a moment.

Red-rimmed, Arabella stared at him with anger burning in her eyes, like an angry beast.

have sex with me, do you? Why? Why can you have sex with other men, but not with me?"

Looking at his paranoid look, Arabella didn't retort to what he said. She just asked with a calm look,

"When did you know I was with another man?"

Melvin didn't want to talk about that. He grabbed Arabella's shoulders tightly. Blue veins stood out on

his hands. "You knew what happened that winter! I went to the country to look for you at that time. You

didn't come back home overnight, and I looked for you the whole night. I almost went crazy at that time.

In the end, Leia told me that you spent all night with a man in the cave! When I rushed over there, you

two were still sleeping together!"

Arabella finally knew why Melvin said she was an unchaste woman. In that winter, she had saved a

man in the snow.

The man was unconscious at that time, and the road was blocked due to the heavy snow, so she

couldn't return home. Therefore, she carried the unconscious into a cave and spent the night there, but

nothing ever happened that night.

However, Leia told Melvin that she had sex with that man, and Melvin just believed it.

Arabella suddenly laughed out loud till she had tears in her eyes..

"What are you laughing at?" Melvin asked.

Arabella pushed him away heavily and then picked up the bag on the carpet. "Nothing! As I just said,

the deal will continue only when I see Janelle. Think about it!"

Then Arabella left.

Arabella got back to Floweret Garden when Aurora sent her a message on Line. "Melvin is really an

idiot! You were just a little girl at that time! How could he just believe such a disgusting lie? But Bella,

do you still remember the man you saved?"
