Chapter 5 Meet An Unexpected Person

The middle-aged man carried a basket and a fruit plate in his hands. Apparently, he had just bought them here.

When Wendy saw them walking towards her, she was frightened. She was afraid that they would turn back the products which they didn't really like. The thought made she become so nervous that she didn't know what to do.

Celia looked at the little girl calmly, though she didn't know why they came here. As a person who had experienced a lot of things, Celia seemed to be quite coolheaded as always. She believed that she could handle everything well.

"Little girl, why are you here again?" Celia greeted her enthusiastically. novelbin

"My grandfather likes the vegetable baskets and fruit plates he bought here. He wants to buy more." The little girl giggled.

Celia was surprised to hear the little girl's words. She raised her head and looked at the gray haired middle-aged man. There was some maturity in his eyes that didn't match his age. She wondered if he really was willing to do buy more products.

"Do you actually make these vegetable basket and fruit plates yourselves?" The middle-aged man asked kindly.

"Well, they are all made by my mother." Celia answered without hesitation.

"My wife bought them when she was shopping then. They are really good. I've been paying attention to you. My name is Jasper Chen. I would like to cooperate with you if possible! " Jasper asked directly.

Hearing the news that they were going to cooperate, Wendy got panicked and didn't know how to response.

Celia, on the other hand, remained calm and confident after heard what Jasper said

"Jasper, we are all from the countryside, and we only know how to grow bamboo and the farming stuff. Thanks to your appreciation for our products, I wonder how you are going to cooperate with us?" Celia said in a calm voice, while she was fixing her eyes on Jasper.

"I have a house. It's just over there. I noticed it when you came in the morning. You haven't had breakfast yet, right? I haven't had breakfast either. Why don't we have breakfast together and talk while eating? " Jasper was also a careful person, easy to get close to.

After thinking for a while, Celia took the little girl's hand and said, "if that's the case, it's better for us to accept it."

"Celia, I don't think it's a good idea. We've sold out all of them. Shall we go back now? " Wendy was a little scared and whispered in Celia's ear.

"I'm Celia Tang, and you can call me Celia. This is my mother, Wendy Zhang. She made the vegetable baskets and fruit trays all by herself."

Jasper nodded and said in a clear voice, "let's make it straightforward. I like the baskets and plates you made, and I think they are very popular. If you're willing to sell them to me, I'll buy as many as I can!"

"Purchase?" Celia understood what he meant, it was a win-win result like selling goods on a commission basis. After she calmed down, she asked directly, "Jasper, how about the price?"

"You do not make a living easily. You and your daughter have wounds on your hands. You sell 4 dollars for a bamboo basket, and I'll pay you 3.5. As for fruit plates, you sell 2 dollars each and 1.5 for me. What do you think?" Jasper said briskly.

"Jasper, don't worry about that. Both my mother and I are the genuine peasants. Since you trust us, we will never let you down!" Celia swore to Jasper as she looked into his eyes.

"In this case, I will give you 50 dollars as deposit to show my sincerity." As he said, Jasper took out fifty and handed it to Celia without hesitation.

Celia didn't take the money. She smiled at Jasper and asked, "Uncle Jasper, we've never met each other before. We've only been together for less than ten minutes. You're willing to give us the

engagement money without knowing where we live. Aren't you afraid that we won't come after we get the money?"
