Chapter 13 A Filial Daughter

Professor Jordan's office was sitting Charles and Anna, as well as Anna’s fiancé William.

Hugo Jordan came up with a smile and gave a hug to Angel, “Angel, you finally come back."

With a smile on her face, Angel gave Professor Jordan a hug before stepping back and bowing, "Hello

Professor!"

Then she handed the box to Hugo.

Hugo took it over and asked with some curiosity, “What is it?"

Angel said with a smile, "It is from my brother. He said it is your favorite."

Hugo burst into laughter and held the box in the hand, "He got many ideas!"

Angel did not look at the other three.

Professor Jordan patted her shoulder. "You finally come back," he said happily. "Your brother finally let

go you. I thought he would like to go to him.”

Angel leaned forward and whispered something in Professor Jordan's ear. novelbin

Hugo widened his eyes and then said with a smile, "No problem! I'm on your side!"

Angel, too, was beaming.

Charles and Anna’ and William looked at each other. They were surprised at Professor Jordan’s

different attitude. He now was intimated to this beautiful girl.

The girl bowed when she came in, so she should also be his student.

She seemed to be younger than Anna, so she should also be a college student.

What was going on with Hugo's attitude?

Was she from a rich and powerful family? But which girl was noble than Anna?

Why was Professor Jordan so kind to her?

The face of Charles could not help sinking.

For Anna to be able to study MBA, he donated a library to M University in order to get the academic

record, and become Professor Jordan’s student.

Hugo was in a good mood right now, so he introduced Angel to them.

"Oh, this is Angel, my Ph.D. student at J Country. She just finished defending her thesis and I hired her

to be my teacher. She is one of my most proud students." He looked at Angel and couldn't stop smiling.

Anna looked at this girl and said in a soft voice, “Professor Jordan's students are all excellent. My sister

Belle is one of your students, but she…"

Anna said with tears in eyes.

Hugo sighed, “Belle was also one of my most proud students. Alas!"

Anna sobbed, “Professor Jordan, I study MBA is to finish my sister’s wish. I am far more behind my

sister, please pardon me."

With that she made a deep bow.

Hugo said, "Not at all. Don't worry. If you need anything from now on, just come to me. Angel will be my

assistant teacher this year, you can tell her if you need help.”

He turned to Angel, “Angel, this is Anna Newman. Her sister Belle was a particularly good students and

your senior, but she died of illness."

The tone of Hugo was heavy and regretful.

He added, “Since Anna already is my student, and Belle was her sister, so please pay attention to her."

Angel smiled, nodded to Anna, and then said to Hugo, "Ok."

Hugo was satisfied.

Charles and William said nothing. That little girl even did not take a glance at them.

Hugo only introduced his students and he thought her parents had nothing to do with it.

He didn’t care what Charles was.

He didn’t care if William was her fiancé.

Angel could not help smiling. This old man was so cute.

She knew what Charles was thinking about.

But his identity was nothing to Hugo.

Angel stood aside, ignoring Anna’s smile.

By the time they were gone, Hugo was relieved.

Hugo gave a detailed description of what Angel would do next, ending with a smile, “How's it going?

Any stress? Can you take it? They secretly call me ‘ghost’."

Angel offered Hugo a cup of tea with a smile. "I knew."

Hugo paused for a moment, and pointed to her with a smile, "You are warning me that if I ask you to

work too much, your brother will come to me. Have you decided to let me carry the blame for you

coming back home?"

Angel turned to Hugo's back and tapped him on the shoulder. "Professor, you promised me. You can't

go back on your word."

Hugo laughed, "You are clever."

He had taught abroad in those days, and Angel was his most valued pupil, who studied with an almost

desperate attitude, and who had a great talent, which made her the most valuable.

As a result, she stayed in the studio late, which attracted her brother, who almost destroyed their

studio.

Later he became a friend of Kyle and Alfie, and he regarded Angel as his daughter.

"You are late here today; If you are earlier, you would have met another of my favorite students, whom

you ought call him senior." Hugo suddenly said.
