Reborn and Revenge

Chapter 26 drinking and Fighting

Chapter 26 drinking and Fighting

Angel took a sip of her wine and looked at the beautiful woman beside him.

She wondered if the woman would remember her current mood when she woke up tomorrow.

Perhaps tomorrow boyfriend made an apology, and she would forgive him.

And then, things would go over and over again.

Angel smiled.

She heard that people in love had negative IQs.

So, don't bother with a fool. Let her drink if she wants to. Her family would pick her up anyway.

Angel's eyes fell on the side that the beauty had just pointed at.

It was noisy.

She didn’t expect that Laura and Daisy were bar stars.

It brought Laura much grievance when she was with Belle! It was hard for her.

The beauty finally got drunk.

Angel gave her a pitying look.

When her phone rang, Angel picked it up and told her where they were.

Then a middle-aged man followed by two tall young men came to them.

“Hanna! Two young men came to help the beauty.

Another hostile one asked Angel, “Who are you?”

Angel reached for her hat and let down her long hair. “I'm a passer-by. She came by to have a drink

and talk.”

At the moment her hair fell down, the two young men froze.

The middle-aged man asked in a deep voice, “Where is the beast?”

Angel raised her eyebrows, knowing that they should be Hanna's father and brother.

“You're looking for her boyfriend?” She asked.

“Do you know him?” asked a young man.

Angel shook her head and pointed toward the other side of the noise. “She told me her boyfriend left

with another woman.”

The two young men thrust the beauty into their father's arms and rushed to the other side.

Angel smiled. Were all brothers the same?

She suddenly missed her brother and Alfie.

The middle-aged man lifted his daughter into him arms and said to Angel, “Thank you, girl.”

Angel chuckled and shook her head.

The middle-aged man looked at her and said gently, “You are also drunk. Do you want to call your

family to pick you up or shall we give you a ride? It's not safe to be out alone at this late hour.”

Angel was stunned. She or Belle had not been cared by their fathers.

Then smiled, “Thank you! My brother will pick me up later.”

The middle-aged man said nothing, fumbled in his pocket and handed her a name card, “This is my

name card. If you need me in the future, you can come to me. I know you are a good girl at first sight. I

hope you can be my daughter’s friend.

A fight had broken out over there.

The middle-aged man nodded to Angel and walked past with his daughter in his arms.

Angel looked to the other side of the room and shoved the card into the phone case.

Angel was drunk because she felt the door of the bar shaky.

So she stood on the doorstep of the bar and texted Aaron, thinking “soberly” that she had made

another mistake, but that she had taken a good attitude in correcting it.

She felt that she could be forgiven.

After sending the message, she strolled up and down the vacant lot in front of the bar.

By midnight, all the neon lights were dimmed and the sky was clear enough that no stars could be

seen.

Angel suddenly remembered the man's childhood promise to build a glass house to look at the stars.

Naive, where in the city to look at the stars?

It was an unrealistic dream so there was unrealistic outcome.

“That's her, beat her!” There was a sudden roar behind her, followed by a strong wind.

Angel instinctively ducked, and without looking back, she raised her foot.

Driven by her drunkenness and instinct, she had never thought of strength.

The person behind her got kicked.

Angel growled in her heart that this man was not strong enough.

Eight people froze, and on the doorstep of the bar stood a man with bruise on face.

“Go hit her!” The man covered his face and roared between his teeth.

Some of the men behind with sticks winced, but at the thought that they have more people, so the

emboldened to rush forward together.

Angel's alcohol-burning brain lit up.

She glanced at the iron bar that had fallen from the man who had attacked her, and with a pinch of her novelbin

foot, the bar jumped into her hand.

She put the cap edge down and showed an evil smile. It was a good way to vent anger with a fight.

This was a ragtag group that had just been put together, probably a group of stupid wealthy second-

generation.

Angel did not kick them as hard as she kicked the first man.

But it was easy to beat them up.

There were moans and shouts of crying.

“Son of bitch, who are you?”

“Wait, don't go, I'll call more people to come right away!”

“Yes! We will kill you!”

“Ouch, it hurts! If you broke my leg, I will kill you!”

Angel dragged the iron bar around them and kicked the person at her feet. She felt dizzy, supporting

herself with the iron bar, “What's wrong with learning to be a goon? There is no sense of achievement

to deal with you.”

“Ah --” came a drawling angry voice behind them.

A dagger fell with a clatter at Angel's feet.

The familiar cologne smell.

Angel, full of joy, threw his arms around the tall body and rubbed him against the chest. “Brother!”

Feeling his body stiffen, Angel grinned and tightened her arms. “You're not mad at me, brother, are

you?”

Her hat fell off and her tousled hair spilled out.

“Angel!”

“Angel!”

Two cries of surprise rang out behind her.

Angel hugged brother tightly in her arms and smiled. “Why are you so late? I've already had a fight.”

A strong force pulled her, and she was held by Aaron.

She wanted to look back for her brother. She asked him to hug her. Her dizziness made her weak and

she fell into Aaron's arms.

“Angel!” Heidi called her urgently.

Aaron held Angel carefully and gave her to Heidi.

Aaron glanced at the moaning men on the floor, then at the man standing in front of him.

Jason gave a look at the people at the foot, “Take her back, I with deal with them.”

Aaron looked at him deeply and nodded slightly. “Thank you, Mr. Jason.”

Then he left with Angel and Heidi.

Zak came forward and said in a low voice, “He is Aaron Russell, rank 7 in the Dark Flower List, and

that little girl is Heidi Russell, rank 15.”

Jason nodded his head and said in a cold voice, “Call the police and take these people away.”

He walked slowly back to his car.

He had just finished a party and when he came out, he saw her “walking” in front of the bar.

He was curious and did not leave immediately.

Therefore, he witnessed her good skills.

Jason could not help but think of the first time he saw her. In a flurry, she was agile to avoid his hand,

so that was her instinctive reaction.

She must have been trained in a strict and systematic way, and Kyle had not made her into a delicate

flower.

They must be on good terms. She took him for Kyle.

The word of the coquettish “brother” was still in his ears.

She leaned forward softly, as if the magical feeling was still there.

Jason grabbed the mineral water to drink, pressing the feeling down.

Belle never acted like a spoiled woman.

Belle was always gentle to others.

She always put other people's feelings first.

He always felt that Belle was wronged.

He has been thinking one day he would marry Belle, stay with her so that she would never live for

others.

He wanted her to be a spoiled woman like Angel.

Of course, he should the only person to spoil her.

Unfortunately, there was no chance any more.

Angel jumped up out of bed.

She looked at her pajamas and felt confused.

She dreamed about her brother last night. He came!

Too bad!

She drank, and she got into a fight!

Angel wailed. It was over!

The door of the room was pushed open gently.

Angel pulled up the quilt to cover her head.

“It's me. There's no need to hide.” It was Aaron's voice.

Angel pulled the quilt down to look at Aaron. After making sure there was no one else, she sat up

quickly.

“Aaron, I had a dream about my brother and I was holding him. It was so real.” Angel said.

Aaron looked at her and sighed. “Couldn't you be afraid of me?”

Angel immediately responded, “So I just had a dream? My brother's not here?”

Aaron looked at her helplessly.

Angel was elated, and then frustrated. “Is my brother still angry?”

Aaron didn’t answer such boring questions.

“Why drank? Why fought?”

Angel got out from the quilt. “Aaron, you're like an old man. You're only twenty-three. You can't let me

be afraid of you. There are already two mountains above me. Do you crush me to death? I am so

lovely, can you bear it?”

She said as she headed for the bathroom.

“You can choose not to tell me, but you have to think of a good reason to explain to the bosses, and I

don't even know how old I am. Twenty-three is your age.” Aaron's voice was steady.

Angel leaned against the bathroom door and lamented, “Aaron, you know what? You are more and

more like Alfie. This chilly tone makes me have illusion, spare me.”

She slammed the bathroom door shut.

Aaron froze, and then sighed.

He must have to report, because Jason helped her.

And, the emergence of Jason was strange. Was it accidental?

He looked like he knew Angel.

It was the first day Angel to be a teaching assistant to Professor Jordan.

As soon as she arrived at Professor Jordan's office, she saw a very spectacular scene. Books,

materials and pictures were everywhere on the desk and on the ground. They were all tottering in piles.

It looked like a second-hand paper collection site.

Professor Jordan stood in a roomful of background papers, rubbing his hands excitedly. “Hey, hey,

Angel, look, I've got all the work I need you to do!”
