Chapter 7 Lady From Duncan Family

With a smile and a hug, Angel said, “Did you agree to talk to my brother for me? That's great! I know

you love me!”

Alexia poked her forehead and said with a smile, “You know your brother and Alfie Griffiths are now

busy, and you came back, right? Your brother has bad temper. Alfie asked me to keep eyes on you and

he would deal care your brother.”

Angel let go of Alexia, put her hand on his chest, slightly raised her head and sighed with exaggeration,

“Alfie, I love you!”

Alexia patted her, “Come on, your brother and Alfie worry about you!”

“Because I am cute. Right, Aunt?” Angel said, blinking innocently.

She then could not help but laugh, “Oh, I am overconfident.”

Heidi, who was hiding in the corner, went quietly to pick up the box and held it in her arms. Then she

shrank back into the corner and looked at them, who were laughing wildly. She sighed, “Didn't Miss

Alexia just say she would teach Angel a lesson? I was so frightened that I dared not breathe, but now

she did not say even a harsh word.”

Aaron smiled and did not speak. Miss Alexia would not teach Angel a lesson for sure, including her

brother.

Alexia was going to take Angel to a business dinner.

In M City, there was a business dinner in Yany Restaurant every weekend, hosted by the four senior

families -- the Foster family, the Duncan family, the Marsh family and the Newman family in turn, in

order to facilitate business exchanges. This practice had been continued for many years, which could

be traced back to the relationship among the four families at the harmonious time.

Many things had changed since time passed, but the practice had persisted, and over time it had

become the city's go-to place for business information and gossip about wealthy families.

The business elite, rich second generation and rich ladies would bring their own purpose to gather here

every weekend.

Of course, it's not an easy place to come.

It was a Membership system, and the approval procedures were complicated. The number of people

who could apply for admission in a year was limited to ten, and there was a strict management system,

so no matter what happened inside, the outside world, especially the media, would not know anything

about it.

This was a real meeting place for high-end families.

As she got out of the car, Angel looked down at her white knee-length dress, which made her look like

a princess in the fairy tale. She said, “Auntie, do you take me here for a blind date?”

Alexia sideways looked at her beautiful niece and nodded with a smile, “A good idea. I will pay attention

to it tonight.”

Angel was speechless.

Alexia took her hand and gently patted her back, “Don’t worry, your brother and I don’t want you to

marry so soon. I take you here just for fun. Angel, you're the oldest Miss Duncan!”

She looked deeply at Angel and said no more.

She herself was the victim of a business marriage and would never let Angel follow in her footsteps.

Besides, she didn't think marriage was something a girl had to do.

With her and Kyle, Angel's happiness was not tied to any one man or his family.

But Angel was the eldest Miss Duncan, and she deserved her status!

She could have her own interests, but she also had to do what she was supposed to do in her territory.

For example, a classy dinner!

She protected her, but put her in armor! This was her difference from Kyle, who had raised Angel as a

perfume lily. But she wanted Angel became to a rose with thorns.

When Alexia came in, she attracted the attention of all the people in the field.

Alexia smiled slightly. She knew what everybody was not looking at her but Angel next to her.

That was what she wanted.

Her sister-in-law had gone, it was up to her to bring Angel to the circle!

Several ladies gathered round.

“Alexia, long time no see.”

“Alexia, I didn’t expect to see you today!”

“Oh, Alexia, who is this beautiful girl?”

“God, Alexia, this girl is so beautiful! She looks like you!”

The crowd gasped in amazement.

Alexia was married but had no children.

It was a marriage that, if it had been for anyone else, would have often been a source of conversation.

But no one dared to discuss about her. No one wanted to bring disaster to their business!

Alexia's means were well known in the industry.

Fortunately, it was not difficult to get along with Alexia. As long as you respected her, she would novelbin

respect you too.

So, the female elite and the real rich women had good relationship with Alexia.

Everyone's eyes were focused on Angel. Duncan family was never a secret. Alexia was not close to

her brothers and her nephews and nieces.

But this girl looked like Alexia, as if they were blood related.

The girl was beautiful in a white dress.

Alexia said with a smile, “This is Angel Duncan, my nieces.”
