Chapter 24

Damona's POV

I looked blankly at all the werewolves and a witch in front of me. We were currently at the long

conference table while everyone was eyeing me intently. I kept staring at my mate though. He's so

handsome while looking at me weirdly. My intense stare made him flustered. I'm not trying to hide my

strong urge to kiss him. His wolf was screaming in his head too. I can hear it loud and clear.

"Please, Damona, let Alex be in front." Layla said while begging. I rolled my eyes at her and glared at

her. She swallowed her saliva and shaken a bit with my intense glare.

"No." I said shortly and sternly.

I am enjoying myself here and it's my first time that I successfully dominated Alex's body. I let her be in

front again if I wanted.

'Damona… please! Let me be in front.'

No. Not yet Alex.

'Damona, please let Alex be in front now.'

Can't you all understand? No!!

I looked at everyone and I grinned when I read all their minds. They were so funny.

Yes, I am a demon but it doesn't mean I'm that bad. If Alex is bad then I am going to be bad. But since

Alex has a pure heart, I am a good demon. Are there good demons? Funny. Yes, I admit, I am the one

who caused her out of control of her power and her bloodthirst. It's because I come out late. I'm really

glad for the little boy, because I was completely awake and Alex wouldn't suffer anymore. She can

finally control herself. Speaking of the little boy, that man with the crown took the boy away from me

earlier.

I showed my distaste towards the King. "Where's the little boy?!" I asked him again.

He clenched his jaw. "What do you want from my nephew?!"

"It's none of your business!" I said while rolling my eyes in annoyance.

He clenched his fist that was resting on the table and I saw Layla take his hand to calm him and

whisper something to the King's ear. I zone them out and listen to the girls rant in my head.

'Damona, I'm begging you.'

Well, Alex, I let you in front again after I see the little boy.

'I can take care of it, Damona. Look, the King might allow me to see the little boy.'

Hmm, okay, I have to do something first.

'Okay.'

I grinned and I saw everyone's forehead creased. I ignored them and turned to Azrael. I smiled at him

which surprised him.

"Can I talk to you about something?" I said and waited for his response.

He nodded reluctantly. I stood up and took his hand. "Excuse us." I said and didn't wait for their

response and dragged Azrael with me going outside the castle.

He cleared his throat and when I looked at him, he was flustered. I smirked and continued dragging

him. Well, I'm the dominating side of Alex and I don't like waiting. I block out the girls in my head

because I don't want them to interfere later. But, maybe, Val will love what I am going to do. I grinned

silently.

We came in a halt when we reached the garden. But I didn't let go of his hand and stare at him intently.

Since he towered over me by 3 inches, I looked up to meet his gaze and I stared at his golden brown novelbin

orbs and suddenly got lost in it. My silver red eyes glimmered immensely. It's like everything was in

slow motion and he looks lost in my eyes too. I saw his adam's apple move up and down. My heart rate

sped up but in a good way. My gaze went to his lips and I swallowed my saliva. I saw him looking at my

lips too.

I can feel our bond getting stronger. I heard his heart beating so fast and it's the good noise I heard so

far. A smile plastered on my lips. As I said, I don't like waiting. I grabbed his nape and kissed him.

When our lips touch, I can feel the tingling sensation run through my spine. Damn, it's the best feeling I

felt so far. I've been dying to feel our mate. I know the girls are hyperventilating right now. Alex won't

admit that she badly wanted this too.

I slowly move my lips and so does he. He wrapped his arms around my waist and deepened the kiss. I

put my arms around his nape for support when my legs become wobbly. I didn't know he had this effect

on me. We were kissing for 20 seconds until we pulled away in need of air. I was panting for air while

staring at him. I smiled when I saw his lips swollen from the kiss. I know mine was swollen too. He

smiled back and I rested my head in his chest. I close my eyes at the sound of his beating heart. I love

it. "Damona, I feel like cheating…" he whispered.

I chuckled. "Don't be," I looked up and smiled at him, "We are all one, remember that. You are lucky to

be mated to a hybrid. And it's a good thing because we are mated to only you. It will be awkward if Val,

Willow and Me have different mates." I explained.

"You're right. But it's awkward to me. We've just met and I feel so comfortable around you," he smiled

while staring straight at me. "You have silver red eyes and it was so beautiful." he mumbled.

I smile at him. "I'm glad to hear that you are comfortable with me. But, I have to let Alex in front now." I

said and unwrapped my arms from his nape. He smiled and nodded. But before I could close my eyes,

he grabbed me and kissed me one last time. I smiled from the kiss. When he released me, I saw his

eyes and it was now golden yellow. He was glancing at my neck too.

I giggled. "Till we see each other, Khael." he smiled widely when hearing his name leaving my mouth

and he nodded. Khael is the more aggressive one than Azrael. His eyes turned back to golden brown

and Azrael shook his head.

"Khael can't wait to see you again." he mumbled. I smile and this time I close my eyes.

I'll let you in front now, Alex.

'I will be the one in front now, Damona, because Alex was still upset that you blocked us out and kissed

the hell out of our mate.' Xandra said while giggling.

I giggled. 'Alright, I'll speak to her later.'

'Your name should be Dominate not Damona.' Val said while chuckling.

We all laughed except Alex and Willow.

A moment later, I feel the strong force pull me up and I'm back to our world. Okay, time to talk to Alex.

Xandra's POV

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I remember was the kiss Damona initiated. I feel myself

blushed. I stared at Azrael and he looked surprised when he saw my ocean blue eyes.

"Xandra? I thought Alex would be the one fronted." he asked.

"Yeah, but Alex is upset right now, so I'm the one fronted." I said while smiling. He nodded but he

blinked his eyes repeatedly while staring at my whole body.

"Y-Your body is glowing…" he mumbled.

Ohh, right. I'm a glowing wolf so it's expected. I smile at him. "Yeah, I also have glowing fur that's why I

am glowing right now."

He nodded and smiled . "I already met Val, Damona and you but I still didn't see Willow."

"Oh, when Willow fronted she forgot to see you." I said while chuckling and remembering Willow

whined because she forgot to see Azrael first before letting Alex be fronted.

Azrael laughed. "Maybe, I'll see her next time." he mumbled.

Then we became quiet. I don't know how to start a conversation.

Waaahhhh Alex! help me!

'Just kiss him, Xandra.'

Vaaaallllll! You're not helping!

She just laughed and I pouted. Val really likes to tease me. I heard laughter in my head.

Tsk. These girls really like to tease me. I pouted more. Then, I heard chuckling beside me. Azrael had

an amuse grin plastered on his lips. "Why are you pouting? Are you all talking in your head again?" he

asked while chuckling.

I let out a chuckle, "Yes, and they were teasing me." I answered, causing me to roll my eyes

dramatically. He just laughed at it.

I was about to say something when an alarm bombarded the whole castle. We both startled and

gasped. "What was that?!" I said as I got alerted.

We both sprinted towards the castle when we heard the growling of werewolves and the loud noise.

What was happening? Is there an attack?

"Damona! Azrael! Let's get out of here!" Sabrina suddenly showed up in a panic mode. She stopped

when she saw me and was taken aback. "Xandra…I'm sorry I thought you are Damona. But c'mon!

Follow me, we have no time!" she said and ran towards the back of the castle. Azrael and I stared at

each other puzzled but nonetheless we hurriedly followed Sabrina. I saw Layla in the distance who was

fidgeting beside the car.

"What is happening?" I tried asking, hoping to get an answer.

"I'll explain when we get inside the car. C'mon, hurry!" the anxiousness in her voice told me something

was off. I had a feeling this was about me.

After getting settled inside the car, the four of us drove away from the castle. My eyes widened when I

saw werewolves running behind us.

"Damn!" Sabrina mumbled and I saw her casted some spells. What's going on?? Layla was fidgeting in

her seat while looking behind us. Suddenly the car sped up faster that made my eyes almost bulged

out of my body. I calmed myself and closed my eyes because it was glowing immensely at the sudden

rush. I looked behind us and saw that there were still werewolves who were chasing us. And on the

other side of the road, I spotted a lot of cars that were following us. Sabrina cursed under her breath.

There were hundreds of werewolves, vampires and witches that were chasing us. I don't understand,

Sabrina is the Queen of the witches, so why are those witches also chasing after us?

I held Azrael's arms when the car was shaking uncontrollably. Sabrina cursed and maneuvers the car

carefully and sped up the car much faster than it's normal speed. It's like we were flying. And I can feel

Willow itching to use her power.

Alex, you should be fronted now. We all know that only you can access each other's powers.

'Okay, Xandra. I might help Sabrina.'

I hummed.

"Alex, will be fronted now. She can help you, Sabrina." I announced and I didn't waste any seconds and

closed my eyes. Then I felt the strong force pull me up and I was automatically back into our world.

Alexandria's POV

The moment I opened my eyes, I found myself holding into Azrael's arms. I quickly let go of him and I

saw Sabrina take glances at me. She nodded in relief and I looked behind us. I couldn't help but let out

a surprised gasp as I saw the convoy. Witches were using some spells to stop our car but Sabrina

managed to counter back the attack. I let my eyes glow brightly and now I can clearly see who was in

the other cars.

"Fudge! Why are those werewolves, vampires and witches chasing after us??" I said skeptically.

"That's what I am going to say to you, Alex but you were gone for three days. Some races were forming

an alliance now just to kill you. And my fellow witches just f*cking betrayed me! And now they're f*cking

after us. We can't fight hundreds of them, Alex!" I frowned. Why was Sabrina helping me now? All

these creatures are after me. I still don't understand why they wanted to kill me. I didn't do anything to

them.

I closed my eyes and thought of something to escape from our enemies that were still chasing after us

and attacking us.

Yes, there were hundreds of them now. I saw Layla fidget in her seat and trembling because of

nervousness and fear. I can probably sense everyone's fear in this car. But, there's something I could

do. And that is to teleport everyone out of this situation we were in. I have to concentrate and I hope I

could be able to teleport us all into a safety ground. But where? I have to think fast!

"Sabrina, I will try to teleport us all. Hold on." I yelled and then I closed my eyes. I concentrated and I

can feel the flow of my power into my veins. A sudden burning sensation runs through my whole body

as I'm trying to control it.

"Alex! Faster!" I heard them yell and something bump the car causing everyone to shriek in shock and

Sabrina cursed loudly in pain. I never opened my eyes and just concentrated on controlling my power

within me. I opened my eyes and grip Azrael's hand tightly. I hold Sabrina's shoulder and look at Layla.

"Layla! Hold onto Sabrina!" I said and she hurriedly grabbed Sabrina's other hand.

Sabrina stopped the car and just on time, I teleported everyone out of the car. Before that, I saw my

necklace glow brightly and I don't know if they noticed it too.

Everyone grunted when we fell flat in the grassfield. I look around us and we are in an open field. My

eyes widened when I saw the wide perimeter of the blue sea below. We are on top of the green grassy

mountain.

"Where are we?" Layla mumbled in awe.

I heard Sabrina gasped. "We were at the entrance going to Tibbertan Mountain and we need to cross

the river," Sabrina uttered unbelievably and looked at me intently, "How did you teleport us all here,

Alex?" I just shrugged my shoulder.

"Honestly, I don't know." I said truthfully. Everyone falls into deep thought.

"I saw your necklace shimmered before you teleport us all, Alex." Azrael mumbled questioningly.

They all looked at my necklace and their mouth formed an 'O' shape. "Where did you get that necklace,

Alex?" Layla asked puzzled.

I sighed, "Willow and I found it in the secret room of Alpha Rick."

Layla's eyes widened. "How did you get it? I never saw you wearing it until today."

"Oh, I went back to the packhouse when I was upset with you, Layla. Then I found out that it's not really

the vampires who murdered the whole pack." they gasped.

"What? Lucian said it was the Vampires." Azrael said while his forehead creased in confusion. I

nodded.

"It was all a lie, Azrael. Lucian is a traitor of the whole pack. He fed everyone his lies for you to pity him.

I know Lucian was up to something else. He was looking at something in Alpha Rick's secret room. I

was there when he showed up."

"What?!" they both yelled.

"But before he could see me, Willow used her invisibility to hide." they sighed in relief.

"I swear, I will kill that man for fooling us!" Azrael said through gritted teeth and clenching his fist into a

ball. He's clearly upset that he was being fooled.

I looked at Sabrina when she let out a heavy sigh. "Alex, we should talk. This is really important." she

said seriously and I nodded. The look on her face clearly stated that something bothered her so much. I

can see frustration building up inside her. She was also upset. Very upset. But with who?
