Chapter 10

I walked around the forest but

My thigh could still not hold my weight for long time

Doctor asked me to not put pressure on my leg or else my wounds would re open

I have decided my escape.

I can't let things repeat themselves

I can't let him come closer to me

My plan is to kill his father , the present king and till he is in picture I can't do it.

He won't let me do it.

I came close to Eric just to enter the palace and kill the king and now when Xavier could bring me so

close to the palace,to the king I just can't take my revenge.

I need to leave and take my revenge as Ezra and not as Xavier's mate.

Right now Xavier is busy with his meeting

5 guards are guarding my room

I have tied the bedsheets together and tied them near the window.

Slowly I descended and once I jumped from the tied bedsheets my body landed with a jerk sending

sharp pain to my wounded thigh.

I made my way out of his territory making sure that no one saw me.

I was few feet away from his territory when I heard loud growls of a wolf

Oh no

It's him

I fastened my pace to move farther away from him but with each step I was taking more blood flowed

out from my wound making the bandages red in colour.

To make my situation worse raindrops started flowing making me drenched in water from head to toe.

I don't know where I was going but I knew I lost my direction when I saw 4 wolfes standing before me

feeding on a deer.

They sniffed on smelling the blood coming from the wound on thighs making them stop and turn their

heads to look at me.

My feet stopped

As they made their was towards me my feet automatically started moving back.

Next I know I was running back towards his territory for safety.

The pain on my wound intensified making me loose my footing and I landed face down on the muddy

ground making me covered in blood and dirt.

I turned around to see dangerous faces of those wolfes centimetres away from me.

Sobs broke down from my lips making me regret my decision.

They were sniffing me ready to pierce my skin with their razor sharp canines.

I screamed with all the energy left in me.

And everything stilled

It felt like all the world stood still

I could see everything clearly .

I between this silence a thunderous thunder was heard which shook the ground I was laying on

Following it was a bright blue light in the dark sky

The blue light was making it's way towards me at a lightning speed

The sign on my chest started glowing the same colour as the light coming my way.

Electric blue

I closed my eyes blinded by the blue light

I saw a beatifull lady dressed in white with silver hair walking towards me.

"Ezra my dear open your eyes and see who you are

This is what I made you

With power of thunder flowing through your veins

You are the strongest of all

Because of your pure soul and angelic innocence

I bestow upon you the most powerfull gift ever known

Use your powers wisely my dear just like your mother did

I opened my eyes to see the thunder enter my body.

Large amount of energy entered my body making me gasp for air because of it's intensity.

The light vanished just like it came

I saw my mark to see it twinkling with that blue light.

The dark night came back and the wolfes surrounding me stepped back from me.

Before I could do something they turned around and started running away from me.

I held the tree behind me for support and tried to lift myself up.

I remember mom used to tell me about Ezra ,the thunder wolf who saved this world from evil.

I thought they were just stories untill now

Mom's wolf was the thunder wolf and I was a reincarnation of her.

The thunder sign on my chest was the proof of my identity and that's why I was asked to hide it from

everyone.

"Ezraaa!!"

Xavier came running towards me

He held my face in his hands

"Are you alright"

I nodded

His eyes went on the wound on my thigh and he cursed

"What the hell were you thinking running like that ??"

He lifted me up and placed me in a cave nearby to shield from the heavy rain outside.

He lifted my muddy skirt up to open up the bandages on my thigh.

When he opened the bandage I hissed in pain but he held my leg tightly to stop any movement.

He cleaned the wound and tied a clean dry cloth over it.

I was staring at his hazel eyes all this time.

How caring and loving they were.

Involuntarily tears stung in my eyes.

I can't betray him novelbin

He actually cares for me

how can I kill his father

How can I send him through the same pain I felt all these years.

"Hey..Ezra it's okay now...

You are alright now......"

He placed my head on his chest and soothed my hair trying to calm me

His actions and care were making me cry uncontrollably.

His shirt was wet with tears and my eyes had no intension of stopping these tears.

"Please Ezra.....don't run from me...I promise you my love and care

I promise to always stand by you..

Please don't leave......

You are my everything now

I can't live without you."

He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead making me doubt my 12 years of revenge plan.

His hazel eyes were promising me all that I was deprived of till now.

"I am leaving for the palace tomorrow to meet dad and you are coming with me"

When these words left his mouth I knew tomorrow will change everything.

Tomorrow I will visit the place where I grew up

The place which had the happiest and the darkest secrets of my past.
