"Your highness .....it's time"

Markus said breaking my chain of thoughts

I nodded and left my room with Markus at my trail.

As I entered the meeting room everyone stood up and wished

I made my way towards the head seat at the round table and as I sat down I motioned everyone to sit.

Ministers of 10districts,my gamma,head warrior and others holding top positions in this pack were

"I need updates on your progress..

... all of you present me with your weekly reports...but before starting I want Mr steve to tell me about

this latest gossip which is going on around..."

This was unexpected

Some had confused expression on their faces and others look scared.

Mr Steve who is the coordinator of business affairs of this pack had a look of fear .

Everyone looked at him waiting for his answer

"....ma'am......actually.....some..leaders of the neighbouring packs ...ques..tioned...your ability...to

rule....they called you a.......w.....we....weak little girl who should.......leave this to ..a male...and......go

find her mate..and....pl......pleusu..re him..."

Loud gasps could be heard around

They looked at my face awaiting my reaction

"Name and pack Mr Steve"

I asked with a neutral look on my face

"Red blood pack......Their Alpha Andrew and B..eta... Ray Reynolds said this"

These chauvinistic pigs

I noted down their names on my notepad

"Okay the matter will be handled...now start with your reports.. "

Steve wiped the beads of sweat on his forehead with his handkerchief feeling relieved.

The security head started

"No attacks on any of the borders although a rogue was spotted near the western border but he did not

cross the boundary...345 warriors are presently deployed on the borders and 1000 are undergoing final

level of training...tomorrow the final match will take place and those who pass will be the new recruits

into the army...other than these our new weapon supplies have arrived and have been tested-"

"I didn't passed the budget for these supplies and I remember the previous supplis came just last

Thursday....who passed the budget?"

"Mr Cameron did Ma'am .. he said you were busy so.."

"Did I asked for any clarification on his part..."

"No ma'am'"

"Answer only what I ask you"

"Yes ma'am...sorry !"

"Marcus call Cameron right now!"

Silence filled the room for the time being till Cameron entered the room

He bowed in respect

"Do you care to explain why this order was passed without my approval Mr Cameron"

Cameron examined the paper I presented him and his face lost it's colour

"..actually...you were busy...and ....the supplier was persistent.....so..I gave my approval"

"Mr Cameron funds of this pack are collected from those who work hard day and night to earn them

and if you plan to waste them I will not hesitate to replace you with a more competent officer.....you only

have the power to approve an order when there is an emergency which this was not as unused

supplies were lying in the store....so for using your powers in an unjust way I demote you of your

position...

You are dismissed.."

"I am really sorry ma'am..I'll never do such a thing again.."

With this he left

"Next...minister of district 4 "

This continued for the next 4 hours

Once the meet was over Marcus gave me all the hand written copies

"What do you plan to do to Red moon Alpha and his Beta ma'am"

Markus asked

"Write them a letter challenging them for a duet"

"But....are ..you

..sure....I mean you can't even shift and they are very powerfull "

I placed my hand on his shoulder

"Some fights are not fought with power Markus but with Brains...you just send him this challenge ....I

know what I am doing.."

"Okay if..you..say so"

With this he left

It's been two years since then and even now I haven't shifted

Maybe my wolfs rejection to my actions did this or I was born like this

I seriously don't know

I just hope somewhere inside me she is still alive otherwise I don't know how long I will be able to lead

this pack.

I lack strength and in my position strength is something which is assumed.

Many Alphas have tried to take over my pack before by defeating me but the thing was they could

never reach me..my warriors and guards destroyed them before they could even touch me...

They were my walls but I really don't know what will happen if a big attack happens and these walls

break.

As I laid down on my bed and looked at the moon outside I wondered if the moon could see Xavier and

tell me what he was doing.

Has he moved on in life

I do heard gossips of him dating a few women and searching for a new mate but was it really that

simple.

Was forgetting me that easy...

I don't have a right to say this as I was the one who left him but still I keep judging myself with the girls

in the tabloids standing with him....comparing myself with them

But I guess I deserved this

I deserve every bit of it for doing what I did.

I deserve to long for his love as I destroyed his heart .
