Chapter 2

The next day while cleaning I came to know that our Alpha King will be visiting our neighbouring pack

He invited all the pack members of the neighbouring packs at the city hall centre for a gathering.

I as an omega was not allowed to visit such gatherings but knowing that my biggest enemy

was visiting us I just couldn't let this opportunity go by.

I came up with a plan to disguise myself, so today after school I was going to attend that gathering.

I just want to see one glimpse of him

I just want to see how a murderer of thousands looked like

How the destroyer of my future looked like. novelbin

I know it will be very difficult considering the guards that surround him and the position he holds

But who said I couldn't give it a try

Because I know in the end it will be worth it.

The following day in my history period ,I sat on the same seat Aria refused me to sit on.

She was trying to tell me to get up from his seat but I decided to ignore her.

Today he came.

And when he entered all chatter around died down

Everyone was looking at me and then at him

He was chatting with his group of friends when he entered but when his eyes met mine ,he became

silent.

I continued to unpack my books breaking our eye contact and ignoring his presence, but he didn't want

that.

He placed his hand on my table to get my attention ,but I continued to ignore him

"Look at me!"

He ordered with power seeping through each word he spoke.

My stubborn self still refused,

I remember when I was a kid Dad and Mom always used to say how stubborn I was.

Old habits truly die hard but this was no longer a habit it was my nature now.

Everyone was stunned .

Dreading what will happen considering an omega just disobeyed a Beta and not just any Beta ,but

future Alpha king's Beta.

I never disobey high pack members to stay out of trouble

But with him, it was different

I wanted to disobey him

I wanted to get in trouble

Because I knew trouble with him will make him notice me,

and for my plan it was a good thing.

I felt waves of anger radiating around me.

His hand which was placed on my table was now enclosed in a fist and his knuckles were turning

white.

I could have died with a single blow of his fist

He was that powerful and I was that weak

But I refused to show it.

Next I know ,his ice-cold fingers grabbed my upper arm jerking me up from my seat

He didn't stop there no

He dragged me out of the class, through the halls

All heads were turning but as soon as they saw who he was, these heads bowed down in respect and

fear.

He continued to drag and embarrass me

Once we were out of the school building he threw me harshly on the ground like a rag doll.

I dusted myself up showing no fear.

Behind me I saw 2 hulks approaching me they stood on each side of me as if trying to stop me if I

decided to run.

He grabbed my jaw so that I could look into his eyes

"Weak omegas like you are like dirt on the shoes of us Royals, right now you should rub your nose on

my feet and beg for forgiveness if not then this pretty face of yours won't be pretty anymore"

Anger surged through me on hearing this

Us Royals are known for justice truth and fairness and fake royals like him are only known for one thing

and that is backstabbing.

I looked him in the eye with newfound confidence.

He expected me to beg for forgiveness but he got a new thing coming

I stood there with my head held high staring directly into his eyes

"And now you decide to look at me, wow I am amazed !! Amazed to see these baby blue eyes which

looked so shy at first so bold right now

I generally don't ask twice but I ask you to bow, get down on your knees and rub your face on my feet!!"

"Never"

I spoke through gritted teeth

"Your bad"

"Guards break her legs so that she can't walk anymore, tell her what happens when you defy royalty"

With that, he was gone leaving his guards to do all his dirty deeds

The two hulks started approaching me

I was nothing special

I couldn't even land a punch on their faces let alone defeat them

But one thing I was exceptional at was

Speed

Dodging, running was the only thing I mastered in my 18 years of life

And today my speed will come in handy

I ran from there at my full speed

Instead of going outside the school, I decided to enter it

My watch said it was 11:05 which meant that more students will be there in the halls creating more

hurdles for these hulks running after me.

I could hear them screaming at everyone to move aside

I wanted to look back but I stopped myself

Looking back only slowers you down and I couldn't afford it right now.

From one hall to another

One floor to another

One block to another

I continued to run not caring if they were following me or not

I thought of stopping sometimes but I knew if I stopped running today I will not be able to stand let

alone walk again.

I didn't stop till I reached safety

Till I reached my packhouse after literally running through my entire school.

I laid down on the floor to rest my legs in my room as it didn't have a bed

But it was just wishful thinking as the next minute someone was shouting my name to prepare the

lunch.

Everyone said That Beta Eric was a cold person, he was merciless, he was rude, he was arrogant but

the thing that disturbed my mind the most was that people said he was still human as compared to the

future Alpha who was considered a beast.

If the Beta who was considered a human was like this I wonder how would the Alpha Beast be like?
