Humans In Danger

Waking up seeing Nora still sleeping, I can't believe what happened between us yesterday, I never felt

satisfied ever since I have been having fun with different ladies, I just felt complete with her and she is

enough for me.

She looks so beautiful and innocent while sleeping.

The fact she is a lycan and a witch baffles me a lot, and what will father reaction be after hearing this,

well I don't need to be disturbed by it, she is my mate and that's all.

After the war, our marriage will be done immediately and the rites as an Alpha and Luna.

Some of the lycans had to report back to me and they came without Santiago.

"Where is Santiago?", that was the first question I asked.

" He took a different path and told us he's going to meet us when we got distracted by an unexpected

attack, some lives were lost", one of the lycans replied.

I feared, hope Santiago is not dead.

"Then go back and find him, you were supposed to protect him just like you protected me too", I gave

them an order.

They were prepared to attack when I turned seeing Nora," Don't you dare harm her", I warned.

"My prince, she is among the witches, we can't spare her, your life is at risk with her" one of them said.

They all looked surprised hearing this and they believed when they got her smell, it was similar to mine

because we have mated already.

She holds on to me, they all bow down and addressed her as my Luna.

" No one should deliver the news to my father yet, I will be the one to deliver such news after the war", I

said to them and told them to search For Santiago.

"A beautiful morning to you", she said.

I hugged her and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"it just like a dream that I wish I never wake up from", I said to her.

" Lorenzo I need to leave now, Rebecca will be worried about me now", she said.

"Hell no, you are not leaving my sight, come on, it's risky you know that, I want to protect you always,

okay", I said to her.

" Come on, I can't just disappear just like that, Rebecca is like a sister to me so for now let's keep it

cool", she said rubbing my chest.

"Fine, I can't argue with you but I want to know you more Nora, let's go and meet Rebecca together", I

tried insisting on it.

" No, it's risky for you and her as well, she isn't aware we are together now and mated, just let me

break this to her, she is the only one who knows am a Lycan and she is hiding the secret from others,

you know what happens to her once they find out, so please", she reasoned with me and I finally

agreed.

"Okay fine but promise me you will be safe?".

I became restless, Santiago is more than a friend to me, he's like my brother, I just hope he's alive.

" The alpha request your presence, my Prince, he wants you to go with him to release his luna, your

mother"

"Finally, my father has made me happy, I knew a day like this will come when he needs mother, now I

can say my day is a little bit perfect"

"Okay I will be with him shortly, but make sure Santiago is found".

"Seems the war is getting worst each day that comes", I said, I was with Father, Gustavo, and other

Elders for a brief meeting.

Father stood on his feet and said, "I know fully well this war will stop soon but I fear there is a bigger

war coming, that will be so bloody and might even end us".

Every one started murmuring and Gustavo said, " I know we can win the war father if you all agree with

me, but what makes you think there is another war coming father?".

I kind of agree with my brother so everyone awaited his response.

"Dimitro saw my dead cousin Freya, the period his soul left his body, she is not dead but alive, I

doubted my son at first but word reaching me is that my cousin grave was dug and her body is

missing", he said.

" The enemy, the main enemy that we should be fighting took her body, how can we trace her body, we

need a witch", I suggested to them. I almost forgot about Freya since the war started.

I know the suggestion I brought is difficult, no witches will want to help us, except we look for a way to

get it, either by force or with much thinking to get a brilliant idea.

One of the elders who came late whispered to Primus's ear.

The look on his face looks so serious that I wish to know what news he brought.

Father cleared his throat and said, "We got some interesting news, the humans crossed the mystery

door and they are in our world,

is anyone aware of this?".

" Oh no, I thought they already left, this can't be happening, what if they feed on them or something

else, I can't let my father hurt my love Amelia", I said mentally.

I acted like it's my first time hearing it.

"Gustavo you are to go with the other vampires and search for the humans around the route leading to

the mystery door, If truly they are and their intentions are bad, we assume they are the enemies and we

can preserve them as food", father said angrily.

He should have given me the mission, Gustavo might just kill them all because he's ruthless, why will

father think the humans are the enemy, I need to be a step ahead.

I was happy when father said he should embark on it the next day which means I just got tonight to

take them somewhere safe and also to know why they haven't returned.

Father walked to me after the meeting and asked, "Are you alright?", I nodded.

" Dimitro I would love you to have a child of yours when ready, you don't need any spell for that

because", I interrupted him saying, "Abomination, because am an abomination father, I can decide that

on my own, what we should be a concern with, is the main enemy with Freya body and not the humans

you once loved", I said before leaving.

I just decided to take another route when I overheard a lady breathing hard and complaining using my

vampire hearing.

The voice started fainting, it sounds like Amelia, I had to rush to her and found her on the ground.
