Father and I went to see mother at the place she was locked in.

Getting there, I notice father stood for some minutes before going in, it's clear that no matter what he

still loves her.

I was the first person to go in and see my mother before my father did, my mom quickly got the scent of

her mate and she said," Lorenzo, is your father here with you?".

I just nodded yes as she started hitting the cage she was in and her eyes changes to light yellow when

father came in.

I had a feeling they were both communicating inwardly but if he really still care, he should have just

released her.

Father said, "Luna I came to ask you some questions for the pack that you once helped and which you

know is one of the reasons you are still locked in here".

Mother excitement dropped when she said," Yes I had to help them because you were getting out of

control, I never betrayed you, I was just trying to save us from a war which my instinct tells me is

happening already, you just believe in your strength my love, most times believe in me your Luna".

For real mom has a point but father shut her up saying to her, "You tell me, what they want, why is the

Beta of the pack here?" I saw father's anger when his eyes transformed to a dark red color.

My mom started laughing making me so confused right now, she then said," You stubborn lover, when I

let them go, you never relented in finding them but when you did, you still attacked them, you started

the war between the lycans and to cut the long story short, Mateo sister was gone, you gave them pain

and you think they will never return to avenge her hum?", she paused and said.

"Seems you have forgotten so much about our wolf custom, to stop this crisis, my son here will have to

challenge the Beta, Mateo in a fighting combat to see if his fit for an alpha, you know what happens if

he falls and you also know what will take place if you lose"

"I shouldn't have come to you and you think I will believe you, a weak beta challenging my son" Father

replied in disbelief.

"Lorenzo how have you been, I notice your joy, seems you found your Luna?".Mother ignored father

talking to me.

I can't believe mom is so sensitive to read my looks but my father is here and I don't want him to know.

I was about to reply when one of the guards came in with a letter saying," The great Alpha, a letter from

the Beta, they want combat, the custom of the wolf, failure to do this, they will never stop attacking us".

Father looked at mother who smiled at her for what she said someone else just confirmed it.

Lorenzo meet me at the pack then he left with the others.

I think this is the best opportunity for me to tell my mother that she is right that have found my mate that

she is a witch and a weak Lycan who is going to be our Luna.

What will mother's reaction be for I feared so I just decided to keep things to myself.

"Goodbye mother", I said.

" I know you will always be a strong alpha but don't follow the steps of your father, it will lead you to

your destruction", I nodded smiling at her before leaving.

I have never been challenged to a fight ever since I was born an alpha, what am I to do next?.

I kept having doubts about myself because I know if the Beta wins, it shows am not capable enough to

be an Alpha.

I think I need to meet Nora, maybe I can get some encouraging words from her since she is my mate

and also will be my luna when we get wedded.

I was heading to have a word with Santiago to let him know the stuff going on presently that was when

something strange happened to me.

I got a letter on my hands without anyone giving it to me or rather without me taking it from someone.

Opening the letter to read the content, I knew it was Nora, she wants us to meet the next day at the

same pack we both mated for she misses me.

I had a smile all over my face when Santiago said," What is making you so excited".

"I don't think I should tell about my personal life hum?", I replied him.

" Wow, let me guess, your lover hum,I knew it".he added.

"Whatever,I need to tell you what exactly is happening now amongst the lycans".

I had a terrible nightmare that Rebecca had to hold me to calm down and she said," It's ok, is just a

dream okay".

I felt a little better, she would have used her powers to connect to my dreams but she promised me my

privacy.

"What dream did you have, it was when you were still very young I know you had nightmares but

stopped", Rebecca asked with concern.

" It was what happened in the past, when that heartless alpha, Lorenzo's dad attacked us for the

second time, separating me from my brother. Those evil lycans would have killed me if you weren't

there to help me out. I still owe you a lot Rebecca, you helped even when you know am a Lycan and a

stranger", I cried and hugged her as she patted my back.

"Now go back to sleep okay.", she added as she went back to her sleeping position.

Then the thought of Lorenzo came, I need to see him so I step out when I noticed she was still

sleeping.

I brought out a sheet of paper and an ink fo write to Lorenzo where we can both meet.

After I finish writing it, I used my magical powers to send the letter to him wherever he is, " bys ur frex

naly glanrarea ensutg ger".

I said this squeezing the paper in my hands and they the paper was no more when I opened my eyes, I

know he must have gotten the letter.

I went back to sleep for I know I will be seeing my mate soon.

Going back to sleep, I heard someone say," What were you doing in there?".

I thought I walked silently in here but how come someone knew I entered in here.

I know it was Rebecca, "Oh Rebecca I thought you were sleeping?", I said faking a smile.

"Nora are you hiding something from or is there something I need to know", she added. novelbin

Now I can feel my heart racing for I actually don't know if I should tell her the truth or think of something

else to tell her that she would believe.
