Chapter 26: XXV Untimely Reunion

Year: 2008

Young Summer Eve was playing and building sand castles on the nearby shore where the Good Eve's

Mansion Hotel was located.

The kids she was playing with were already called by their parents. These are usually their guests'

children.

It was already past 8pm, Summer knew that any moment now, her mom would be coming to call her.

Summer stood up and walks away from the sand castle and went to the shoreline to wash her hands

and feet. She noticed a woman walking and stopped a few feet away from her.

Without even looking behind, she knew that this was not her mother who came. Still on the shore with

her feet soaked on the water, she made a slight glimpse on the woman behind her.

The woman was wearing a casual wear, obviously, she was not there for a swim. The woman was

looking directly at her. She gave Summer a smile and a quick wave of her hand.

Summer, who was naturally polite, smiled back and turned to the lady's direction. She kept her distance

while this silence gives no clue of the intentions of the woman standing in front of her.

Suddenly, Summer's mother arrived at the scene and covered a large towel around her while facing the

unknown woman.

"Hello little sister," the strange woman said in a soft voice.

Rain's heart suddenly pounded hard after hearing those words. It is possible? But why didn't she felt

her presence. Carriers of the Seal has the ability to feel the presence of their fellow Carrier, most

specially if this is your family member. Carriers of the Seal are strong empaths* and clairsentience*.

Rain got all these questions running to her head, she couldn't utter a word, she don't know where to

begin with.

"Lily? Is... is that really you?" Rain asked

The woman nodded and smiled back at Rain.

Summer was looking at her mother and then looked back at the other woman whom her mother called

Lily.

"We went searching for you, we thought... we thought you were...." Rain's voice was shaking, she was

holding her tears.

"...dead." Lily added.

"I know Rain, you and John did everything you could to find me."

Rain's tears burst down, it was a total confusion of emotions. Would her elder sister be mad because

she married John, or maybe because they stopped looking for her.

"Mommy?" Summer said while holding Rain's hand.

"It's OK sweetie, this is your aunt Lily," Rain said.

"Lily, meet my daughter, Summer Eve." Rain added.

"How old is she?" Lily asked.

"She's 10 years old." Rain replied.

Lily gave a big smile and placed her hand on Summer's head. "Bless you Summer Eve."

"So you are now Mrs. John Eve, huh Rain?" Lily giggled.

Lily moved closer and gave Rain a big hug. They both shed into tears.

"I'm so sorry Lily, I really am."

Lily held Rain's shoulders. "There is nothing you should be sorry about little sister. I believe that all

these are destined to happen. John and I are never really meant for each other."

"Where have you been all this time Lily? Why did you waited this long to reveal yourself?"

"Rain, I have something important to tell you, can we have a place to sit and talk."

Rain looked at the direction of the Good Eve's Mansion.

Empaths - (1)the ability to feel or sense what others are feeling and take on that emotion in your own

body. (2)(chiefly in science fiction) a person with the paranormal ability to apprehend the mental or

emotional state of another individual.

Clairsentient - (1)the ability to sense what others are feeling, take that emotion in your own body, and

receive instinctual information about the event or situation. (2) Clairsentience, loosely translated,

means "clear-feeling". It is perhaps the most basic of all the intuitive skills. This idea that knowledge of

things invisible to our physical senses (including other people's feelings) can be felt with our higher

faculties has been around for a long time. Clairsentience, "clear sensing" or "clear feeling" is an

extremely heightened form of empathy (3) Clairsentience is the ability to feel and experience the

energy in an intuitive way. This energy stream includes other people's feelings, inanimate objects, novelbin

spiritual insights, and premonitions of the future. Basically, you are aware of all types of energetic

vibrations through your own body and emotions.

Empathy is clairsentience which is focused on other people. An reads and feels emotions that are

coming from other people.
