"No, I'm fine." His mother took Donna's hand to have a seat on the sofa.

She looked at Donna again and said with a smile, "Paul has a bad temper.Did he bully you?"

Donna blushed and shook her head, "No.’ Except for being too demanding in a certain aspect, he treated her very well.

"Ms.Martin, the two of them have a good relationship."

Linda brought out the fruit and said with a smile, "Since she came here, she personally cooks breakfast for Mr.Martin every morning.’

His mother looked at Donna in surprise.

Not many girls were willing to cook by themselves.

"I understand that young people now want to have a place to yourselves, but you must have children after all."

Donna blushed and raised her head to smile shyly at his mother, "You have just returned to Jonesboro, so do you want to go shopping? I'll go with you, okay?"

"No, you don't have to do that.’ His mother smiled and shook her head.

"I have a lot of friends here.I can go with them.You don't have to worry about me."

Donna wanted to say something.

She had promised Paul to take care of his mother.

In the evening, Donna made dinner for Paul's mother herself.

Before Paul's mother went upstairs to rest, she looked at Donna and Paul and said meaningfully, "Don't forget what I said.’ Donna blushed.

Not long after she left, Donna went back to the room, thinking about a lot of messy things.

Paul pushed the door in and saw Donna's face still red, making him even more puzzled.

Donna lowered her head to pretend to read, and whispered, "It's nothing."

His mother clearly said she didn't want to mention that, but she just reminded her in front of Paul.

"Are you really not going to tell me?"

Paul glanced at Donna and threatened without hesitation, "Then I will ask my mother.’

With that, he got up and walked towards the door.

Donna threw the book away in fright, ran over to grab Paul's arm, and whispered, "Okay.I'll tell you."

Paul turned around, grabbed Donna's arm and held her between his chest and the wall.

He raised her chin with a finger, "Tell me.’

Donna lowered her head and blushed, as if her face was full of blood.

Her long curly eyelashes, like spring willow buds, attached to her beautiful face.

"She said..."

Donna's face grew redder, and she finally told Paul, "She said she wanted to have a grandson.’’
