She awakened Nicholas. He took the phone, lifted the blanket, and walked directly to the window. They chatted briefly, but Nancy couldn’t hear what he was saying. She only saw his eyebrows furrowed and then relaxed. After hanging up the phone, Nicholas came to Nancy. Nancy looked at him embarrassedly and said, “I answered the wrong phone.
