Chapter 9 Morning Sickness.

After vomiting several times, Nancy finally felt a little more comfortable.

Taking a deep breath, she washed her face and tidied up before leaving.

“Mom, I’m sorry I made such a scene.”

Nancy looked at Sarah sitting on the sofa, feeling very embarrassed.

Sarah just smiled. “It’s okay.”

Then she beckoned Nancy to sit over. Nancy immediately sat beside her carefully.

Because of nervousness, Nancy’s heart beat wildly, and her breathing was a little unsteady. However, this was not the most important thing. She feared that her mother-in-law would ask her about “vomiting”.

It happened so coincidentally.

A moment later, her mother-in-law’s voice rang in her ears, “What happened just now? You vomited severely. Do you want to go to the hospital?”

Oh my goodness! Nancy exclaimed, really afraid of what might happen.

“Mom, I am okay. I just accidentally ate eggs. I have been a little allergic for the past two days.”

Nancy tried her best to make her voice and tone sound natural without

flaws.

“Be careful next time. Allergies are not a trivial matter, Sarah warned seriously without overthinking.

Sarah’s words made Nancy feel tearful.

Although Nancy’s mother had been dead for many years and her father had never given her paternal love, she is so lucky to be able to marry into the Sallows.

Not only did they not dislike her; they loved her, pampered her, protected her, and loved her.

There was nothing she could do in this life to repay this kindness.

“Mom, I know. I will cherish it.”

Around five o’clock in the afternoon, the sun had already set.

The orange-red sunset glows in the sky. You can see the beautiful sunset from the window. This is Sarah’s favorite moment.

The antique-styled room was filled with a faint scent of incense..

On the nearby tea table, a strong tea aroma exuded a fresh smell..

When Nicholas opened the door and went in, Sarah had just finished brewing tea.
