Henry was in a good mood as he sat in his office. He was about to clinch an important business deal

with the CEO of the Stones' Corporation. It was a deal that was important to both of them.

He admired the CEO as he read the little news about her. In the business world,men ruled and it was

hard for a lady to survive and even raise a whole Corporation to great heights. He was impressed by

They were both going to meet tomorrow to finalize the deal,and he looked forward to their meeting

It was night time and Henry drove into the garage of the mansion. He parked his car and sighed when

he saw the lights on again.

He just prayed Kathleen wouldn't pester him that night. He wasn't ready for any tantrum. Before he left

for the office that morning,they had a lengthy quarrel.

How was he going to get married to such a nagging lady?

But deep down he knew it was mainly because of Quinn. Kathleen wasn't a nagging lady; she was

gentle and yet domineering at the same time. How could a normal lady control and direct the activities

of a whole conglomerate?

No way...

He headed into the living room half expecting to see Kathleen waiting for him. But he was surprised

when on the dining table, different dishes were spread.

'Did she make all this?' He was actually hungry and needed to eat.

He strolled over to the dining table and sat down appreciatively. This alone was a good sign.

At least,there was hope that she wouldn't throw a tantrum today.

Kathleen came downstairs when she heard him open the door to the living room.

"Hey sweetheart, welcome." She smiled as she sat opposite him.

Munching on his scotch egg,he nodded at her greeting. Kathleen waited for him to finish eating; she

wasn't going to let him off today...

She didn't actually make the dishes herself; her assistant did. There was no way she was going to

stress herself making such a spread... However, she wondered how a guy could cook so well..

She didn't dwell much on; it wasn't anything out of the ordinary...

Henry was done eating in no time... Kathleen cleared the table and while he headed to the bathroom to

take a bath, she waited in the living room for some time..

When she decided it was time,she went upstairs to join him in the bedroom.

"I saw Quinn today." She calmly said staring intently at his reaction.

Henry didn't give any reaction although his heart was racing. How did she see her?

This was bad...

"And so?" Henry raised his head to look at her.

He knew she was baiting him... Unfortunately for her,she wasn't going to get any positive results..

"Have you been seeing her behind my back? Tell me Henry!" She had to go all out from the start...

She couldn't allow this jerk to continue playing with her feelings...

"What are you talking about? If I have, how is that your business?" Henry frowned.

"Henry! I'm your fucking fiancee for God's sake! How dare you ask me such a useless question?"

Kathleen screamed angrily.

"And so? I don't get the point you are trying to make, Kathleen." Henry was getting irritated; did she see

him with Quinn?

If not,why was she getting worked up?

Kathleen breezed out of the room and returned with a sharp knife.

"It's either you tell me the truth,or I stab myself." Kathleen chose to threaten him. She wanted to test if

loved her at all...

Henry looked at her in amusement; was she trying to threaten him?

He saw through what she was trying to do... He wasn't even bothered by her threat one bit.

"Is that so? Go ahead,that would be a heroic act I must say." Henry shrugged nonchalantly.

Kathleen widened her eyes; was he for real? Did he actually ask her to go ahead?

"You are a jerk!" She raised her hand to slap him.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Henry held her hand.

"Let go, let go right now!!!" Kathleen snarled.

"And if I don't?" Henry questioned.

"Don't dare me..." Kathleen looked straight into his eyes.

Henry could see she was truly annoyed this time. He pushed her back due to the force of it, she fell on

the floor.

"Do what you want Kathleen, I don't care. It's not as if you ever cared about my decisions... Eight years

ago, you sent her away. Why are questioning me now?" He fumed.

Kathleen bowed her head angrily without saying a word. .She felt like hitting someone... She had to let

out her anger...

"You know what? I'm going to cool off my head. Enjoy your night." He turned to leave.

"Don't you dare walk out on me, Henry." Kathleen said sharply.

"Are you gonna stop me?" With a smirk,Henry left the room.

Kathleen banged her hands on the floor in annoyance. Did he just walk out on her?

Quinn...

She was the cause of all these....

Kathleen was quite sure if Quinn wasn't in the picture,then Henry would be all hers...

She was getting tired of the whole drama... Why couldn't Henry let go of Quinn??
