“I have received a reply from Asiatic, but it‘s not good,” said Nathaniel.

“Oh? How bad is it?”

“He said that he is determined to take the Garland family down. He told us not to waste our effort.”

“What? Waste our effort!” Winnie smiled and continued, “He‘s overly confident, isn‘t he? What grudges does he have with the Garland family? Is Hamish the one who broke his leg?”

“I‘m not too sure about his personal life.”

“Is he running errands for Xavier then?”

The moment Winnie ended the call with Nathaniel, she received another call from her granny, who lived in the countryside.

“Winnie, does the Fairchild family have a second son?”

“Second son? Granny, are you referring to Stuart?”

“1–I‘m not too sure. They didn‘t tell me the name. Are they a lot of second sons in the Fairchild family?”

“Granny, don‘t worry. Did you receive any news about my cousin?”

“That‘s right. I found out that the boy was taken by the second son of the Fairchild family. But, I have no idea who it is.”

“There is a Mr. Stuart. He‘s the second son of the Fairchild family, and he has a son who is around my age. When I get the chance, I will check if he has a birthmark on him.”

The last time Zyon tried to violate her, Winnie had completely forgotten to check him for any Wrthmark on his chest.

It would be quite tricky for her to go to the hospital to check him out this time around.

“Don‘t be angry,” coaxed Zyon as he gave Kylie a squeeze. “When I recover, I‘ll shower you with my te nder, loving care. Your makeup has smudged. Go and touch up.”

“What! My makeup is ruined? I‘ll co and touch up my makeup then!” With that, Kylie hurried on.

She had become more particular about her appearance ever since that video showed up.
