Chapter 15 Borrowed Thirty Million

Even her uncle, Brian Jennings, leaped to his feet in agitation, “Heather, you’re a child of the Jennings family. This family has provided for you since you were young. You have an obligation to save this family!”

The Jenningses were agitated because Heather was supposed to borrow thirty million from Walt to save the Jennings family after spending time with him for three days.

Alex scoffed. Before Jacob and the other could come close to him, he lifted his arm to deliver three slaps.

It had also been a long while since Alex had put up with the Jenningses. Thus, his slaps were swift and aggressive. Jacob and the other two ended up falling to the ground.

The rest of the people could only look at Alex, completely bewildered.

They could not believe the helpless Alex they knew had just slapped Jacob and the others to the ground.

Then, Alex took a step forward and stepped on Jacob’s chest.

“How dare you?” Demi screeched, her temper sparking. She shot up to her feet and raised her cane to swing it downward at Alex’s head. “I’m going to kill you!”

Yet, Alex grabbed Demi’s cane, moving as swiftly as lightning. His gaze was vicious, and a ghastly aura enveloped the room, making the people inside shudder.

“I’d advise all of you to behave yourself. Otherwise, don’t be too upset if I show no mercy to you,” Alex uttered, shooting them all icy looks.

Even the heart of the aggressive Demi skipped a beat at that.

“That’s enough! Stop fighting!” Heather shouted. “I’ve borrowed the thirty million!”
