The awkwardness in my room after Daniel left made me wonder why he was still here. Didn’t they say
he was only here for a short time and only here for the meeting?
I thought he left….
I looked at him as he looked around my room and stood in front of the cabinet, where I had just placed
four picture frames, two of me and my family, one of me with my brother and the last one of myself at
my medical school graduation.
He picked up my graduation photo and stared at it before looking back at me.
“Can I have this?” His words surprised me.
My eyebrows stood up curiously “What for?” I asked suspiciously.
“If I ever miss you so I can look at you” He replied which made me almost choke on my own saliva.

“Don’t joke” I snorted rudely and tried to take my picture from his hand, but failed because he raised his
hand higher.

What did he eat to have such a huge body?! I thought irritably. “You’re still angry”

I snorted back at him, as if he didn’t know the reason why I was angry with him.
