Carla's P.O.V
The look in Damien's eyes broke my heart
Is that a tear?
Oh no
He walked away
''Damien wait'''
I was about to go after him when Jake pulled me back. I slapped him as hard as I could
''You bastard. Never speak to me again''
I ran after Damien but he seemed to disappear into the crowd
Damien's POV
I jumped into my car and sped off. I need to get away from here
I knew it. I had a feeling this would happen
Am I not good enough for her?
What does he have that I don't?
Fuck!
I hit the steering wheel
Why Carla?
I wasn't on my guard on time cause I wasn't concentrating. Next thing I knew a group of boys gathered
round my car
One broke the window and pulled me out. I don't know how I suddenly became weak. I felt a hard thing
hit my head. I screamed in pain.

I may be mistaken but the last thing I saw was Jake's face before everything went black
Carla's POV
Eric and I were pacing down the hospital corridor. I told him what happened. We found out Jake was
the leader of a community who hates werewolves. To top it all Damien killed Jake's father so he wanted
revenge.
He knew who I was all along. He played me to get close to me. Eric told me everything. He knew
because when we got to the scene where Damien was found, the boys were still there. They all had a
symbol on the shirt they wore
Eric tried to kill them but they escapee. Including Jake. He recognized the symbol as 'The ATL clan'
Jake had the sign the leaders always had
''Argghhhh'' Eric screamed
He punched a hole in the wall. I whimpered in fear
''This wouldn't have happened if you had gone with Damien. We'd all be safe but no you decided to do

If anything happened to Damien, I'd live with the guilt forever
Eric told me all Damien went through to get ready for the dance for me. He didn't care about his
reputation anymore. My heart pinched at the thought
It was all my fault
My heart skipped a beat when the doctor came out
''Family of Alpha Damien'‘ the doctor called
''Yes'' Eric and I answered
''Any news?'' I asked

''What is it?''
''He didn't make it''

Eric, Rachel and I dropped our flowers on Damien's grave
''We'll leave you two alone'' Rachel said novelbin
They both left me alone by his gravestone.
A tear slid down my cheek at the sight of his grave. We buried him by the Silver sea. A private beach
where all the Alphas of the pack were buried. Its tradition.
''I miss you Damien. I'm so sorry''
Words couldn't describe the heartbreak I felt. Words could not describe the pain in my soul.
I choked silently on my sobs. I brought out a music box and played a song. He loved to see me
dance..so that's what I did. I danced for my mate under the sunset in a ballerina dress
