Chapter 6

Cause she's my mate

Cause she's my mate

Those four words kept echoing in my head as I lay on my new bed

Oh I didn't tell you? Alpha Damien made me move to his pack house. He said since we're mates we

should start living together

*Flashback*

"What makes you think you can do that?''

''Because she's my mate''

Before my dad could respond Alpha Damien dragged me outside but I kept whimpering

I know I'm not happy here but its still my home. He has no right to take me away so abruptly especially

without my permission.

''What?'' he snapped

I sniffed

''You're scaring me'' I cried

''I scare a lot of people. I certainly won't change for you''

He continued pulling me

''Where are you taking me?'' I questioned

''To my pack house''

''Why?''

''Cause you're mine now''

''B-but I don't wanna go''

He stopped and faced me

''Listen here I will not tolerate indiscipline from you. Behave, if not I swear I don't fucking care if you're

my mate. I will treat you worse than an omega. You will serve me as long as I live and do as I say. Do

you understand?''

I stood there quietly in shock.

His grip on my hand tightened. I let out a cry of pain

''Do -you-understand?''

''Yes alpha''

*End of flashback*

I got up from bed and checked the time on the wall clock. It was 6:49am. I have enough time to get

ready for school.

I got up and went to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth

When I was done, I went to the closet where all my clothes were neatly folded.

I put on a pink tank top, white jeans with black sandals. I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs to

the kitchen.

I saw Alpha Damien drinking a glass of milk.......shirtless.

My mouth was hung open in shock. Good Lord his body was perfect

He stood close to the window. The light rays of the morning sun shone directly on his abs. Some of the

milk he drank ran down his chest. It looked like he just came back from a run or something.

I quickly snapped out of it. This guy basically assaulted you less than twenty-four hours ago ! Now isn't

the time to admire him

''Good morning alpha'' I greeted

He nodded

I went over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water but I could feel alpha Damien staring at me. I

closed the fridge putting the bottle in my bag.

''What are you wearing?'' he asked

''Uh clothes alpha''

''I'm aware of that. Don't be rude to me '' he growled

I looked down at the floor

''I'm sorry alpha''

''Look at me when I'm talking to you''

I looked at him

''I do not appreciate you exposing your body to other men, change now''

''But...''

He grabbed my chin and squeezed. I cried out in pain

''What did I tell you about disrespecting me? You will do as I say; now change''

''Yes alpha''

He pushed me before walking out.

I went upstairs to my room and wore a black jacket before going downstairs

I got out of the house then started walking to school.

Soon I arrived at school. I entered the building and went straight to my locker

''Ohhh Carla....'' someone said

I rolled my eyes. It was Rachel. The sound of her heels clinking could be heard as she made her way

over to me.

I ignored her

''Oh so its like that now? You deaf or something?''

I closed my locker, books in my hand

''Yes Rachel?''

She smiled

''Ahh sister, how are you?''

''Just tell me what you want so I can get to class''

''Well since you put it that way. I wanna see how the Silver Moon pack house is. Could you like tell

Alpha Damien that I'd like to visit you''

''No'' I said

''What?''

''We barely talk to each other. He hates me''

''How is that possible? You're mates''

''I don't understand it myself'' I shrugged

''Liar! You'll pay for this''

I sighed. I've had more than enough bad luck in one morning. I don't need my sister making things

worse for me

''Rachel please''

''Because you're the mate of the strongest alpha you think you're better than me. You think you can say

no to me? Think again. I always get what I want''

She flipped her hair then cat walked down the hallway.

I sighed running my fingers through my hair. I'm really frustrated.

I walked down the hallway to my first class. I entered and took a seat at the back. My chair was at the

window sill so I just looked outside.

I heard the chair next to me move indicating someone was sitting beside me

''Hey''

I turned my head to look at the person.

A pair of blue unfamiliar eyes stared back at me

''Hello?'' I replied. It sounded more like a question that an answer.

I've never seen this guy here. He must be new.

''I'm Jake, I'm new here''

''I'm Carla''

''Cool. Nice meeting you''

I heard whispering all around. Everyone's eyes were on me. Its probably because the hot new guy is

talking to me. I don't want any trouble.

''I don't think you should talk to me. I'm not really liked around here''

''Come on, its not everyday I get to talk to a pretty girl''

I blushed

''Thank you''

The Physics teacher, Ms. Jones came in

''Good morning class" she said novelbin

''Good morning'' we replied

''Before class begins, I want everyone to turn in their assignments''

She started going to tables collecting their books

I panicked. I've been so caught up in all this drama that I forgot all about school work

She got to my table

''Miss Carla, your homework"

''I- i-i didn't do it''

The class burst into a fit of whispers and giggles. No doubt, they're all laughing at me.

''You didn't what?!'

''I'm sorry ma'am''

''Get out''

''Please i'll...''

''Get out you pathetic little thing!''

All eyes were on me. I grabbed my bag and exited the classroom in embarrassment
