“Ugh, it's so hot... I feel... terrible... Ugh...”

With a sliver of her rational mind left, Avery smacked hard on the elevator button and successfully struggled inside when the doors slid open.

Fortunately, she was the only one in the elevator.

Hiding at a corner of the descending elevator, Avery's face was flushed in an abnormally bright red color. Simultaneously, sounds of moaning fell out of her mouth uncontrollably.

When the elevator came to the seventh floor, it stopped.

Walking into Avery's line of sight was a young man who looked roughly to be eighteen or nineteen years old and around a hundred and seventy centimeters tall. Dressed in a casual outfit, he was most likely still a university student.

“Y-You... A-Are you all right?” At once, the young man jumped in shock and stammered when he sensed that there was something off with the woman before him.

“It's nothing... I'm fine...” Avery frowned. “Don't come near me.”

She could barely suppress the raging urge inside her. If there was a need for an apt description, she felt like she was floating on a massive ocean, swaying wildly as the rough waves brought her. She was seriously in need of a lifebuoy right then.

For some reason, she saw the young man before her eyes as the lifebuoy she needed.

Sensing Avery's intense stares, the man's cheeks blushed crimson red. Even though she had a pure yet stunning appearance and was exuding an alluring aura from head to toe, he dared not get involved with her.

“H-How about I take you to the hospital?” the young man asked attentively. “You look like you're in pain.”

Indeed. Avery's head was in turmoil as her instincts and rationality were in a hot confrontation.

Instincts told her to lean forward and cuddle that young man. That urge was getting increasingly strong, perhaps because the one she was facing was of the opposite gender. However, rationality told her the influence of drugs was the cause of her condition, and she had to stay away from him.

Just then, the elevator sprung open as it arrived on the ground floor.

Before the doors stood a few people whose shadows cast inward, instantly blanketing the two of them.

“I'll take you to the hospital.” The young man could not care about sparing a glance toward the outside. His main concern was to help Avery up as he was worried other men might have ulterior motives given her current state.

Nevertheless, before he even laid a finger on her, a strong force shoved him backward. Following a loud thud, his back smashed against the elevator's wall, putting him in so much pain that he clenched his teeth tight.

When he looked up again, he saw a man scooping Avery into his arms.

From the back, the man was dressed in a suit and had a tall and slender silhouette. Even without looking at his face, anyone could sense that he was no ordinary man. The arrogance and domineering aura he was radiating was a sign that he was someone that no one could afford to offend.

Meanwhile, Axel had been looking for Avery at the hotel's entrance.

How far can a drugged woman go all by herself? I'll get some money if I bed her and more money if she gets infected with AIDS. What a good deal that is! Besides, I haven't had fun with a woman for a long time! The mere thought of it makes me f*cking excited!

Well aware that he would not find another woman to have fun with anytime soon if he let Avery off, Axel approached one of the hotel receptionists like a cat on a hot tin roof. “Have you seen a lady walking out of the elevator?”

“Do you have a description of that woman?” the receptionist asked.

“She looks like she has drunk a lot... She's probably drowsy and keeps grumbling that she feels hot. Her cheeks should be flushing red...” Concerned that it might raise suspicions, Axel dared not describe too many attributes.

Coincidentally, Cayden overheard those words and turned back to glance at Axel, his expression turning grim.

The receptionist apologized, “I'm sorry, but I didn't see someone of your descriptions.”

After thanking her, Axel walked up to the elevator and continued waiting by the doors. He muttered to himself, “Could it be that she didn't come down? Or perhaps she's hiding in one of the restrooms?” With that, he headed upstairs to continue with his search. novelbin

Of course, it was not that Axel had not noticed Cayden. He did, but he did nothing more than spare the latter a glance. Apart from that, since he had never seen Avery before, he had no idea what she looked like or what she was wearing. Therefore, he did not pay much attention to the woman in Cayden's arms.

Seeing Cayden's cold and forbidding vibe, Axel could instantly tell from one glance that he was a man of exceptional wealth and influence. No average man can ever afford to offend someone so powerful as him!

A vehicle had been waiting right in front of the hotel's entrance. Sitting inside was Xavier.

However, Cayden did not take Avery to the car. Given her current state, she was like a wild kitten in heat—cuddling up in his warm embrace and even caressing his body, trying to arouse every bit of desire within him.

No one can see her in this manner. No one is allowed to, not even Xavier!

With the squirming woman in his arms, Cayden could only head toward areas with fewer people upon getting out of the hotel.

Nearby the hotel, there was a Ferris wheel. But rather than serving any entertainment purposes, it was more like embellishment in the city.

The developer of the Ferris wheel was none other than Trident Group. With Avery in his arms, Cayden trotted over.

As he needed a password to get on the Ferris wheel, he placed Avery—who was shaking violently at that point—down while still hugging onto her with one hand. While staring at the whiny and woozy woman in his embrace, he made a call to Xavier. “What's the password to the Ferris wheel?”

“F-Ferris wheel?” Xavier was befuddled. Yet, he dared not ask further and quickly answered, “The password is 49270166.”

“Got it. I have something to deal with right now. In the meantime, I need you to head into the hotel and find out who has interacted with Avery earlier. She got drugged, and I need to get to the bottom of this incident!” Finishing that, the intimidating-looking Cayden swiftly ended the call.

Unable to stand steadily, Avery leaned her wobbly body against the man's well-built body, almost as if she would be able to absorb the iciness emanating from him to cool the fires raging within her. It was such a pleasant feeling she inadvertently let out a sigh of ineffable satisfaction.

“Hug me... Mmm... Hug me tight...” Her moans and coquettish acts were an invitation to get him to move closer to her.

Narrowing his eyes, Cayden lifted her chin and fixated his burning gaze on her unfocused yet innocent eyes. “Do you know who I am?”

“Y-You... you...” Avery failed to bring herself to finish the sentence. Engulfed by the effects of the drugs, she eagerly moaned, “Mmm... Give it to me... Please...” It seemed like she had switched to another mode within the blink of an eye.

She's submitting to me!

As much as Cayden tried his best to control his desires, she acted just like a kitten who kept pestering him with her continuous moans.

Seeing the man's lack of response, Avery went on her tiptoe and, with great difficulty, finally clung to him. “I... I feel terrible... I'm so thirsty... Feed me...” Her incoherent groans sounded in his ear.
