Chapter 6: The baby in her belly is not his?! 

Zac looked back unhappily, "Edith, you're still not in good health.Why are you running around here? Go back to your ward."

"I don't want to! Zac, don't let yourself be fooled by this woman.It's obvious that she deliberately got pregnant because she wanted to tie you down! You can't let her give birth to this child, otherwise, she will depend on you all her life!"

Edith, who felt that she was wronged, ran over to Zac and pulled at his sleeve.

Zac frowned at her as he said, "I don't care about that.Edith, just listen to me and go back inside.You shouldn't be here in the first place."

"I won't go back! If I leave you here with her, the more you'll be deceived.Do you really want to marry her again just for the sake of that child? Zac, you are so stupid! You're not the father of that child inside her womb!"

Edith yelled as she took out a stack of photos from her pocket and threw them over 's hospital bed.

In the photo, Sophie was seen going out with a man who seemed to be from the upper class.

Some were taken in restaurants and shopping malls, others were in cinemas.

She appeared to have a close and intimate relationship with the man in the photos.

Although there were no dubious interactions between them, it was obvious that the man had his eyes only for her .

On the other hand, Sophie looked at him with full trust and reliance.

Fury suddenly flashed in Zac's eyes.

He stretched out his arm towards Sophie and held her chin as he interrogated her.

"Who is this man and what is your relationship with him?"

"He is my psychiatrist and we're just friends! Am I not allowed to eat out and go shopping with my friends now!?" novelbin

Her chin hurt from Zac's tight grip but she met his gaze head on and her eyes held no trace of guilt.

However, Edith continued to anger Zac.

"It's a lie! She's blatantly lying without even blinking! Will a good friend look at you with that kind of gaze? Zac, you are also a man.You should know that is how a man looks at the woman he likes!"

Rage surged through his heart and at that moment, he was already blinded by his anger.

He pinched Sophie's chin even tighter as he asked, "Tell me! Did you sleep with that man? Whose child is that inside your belly?"

"It's a bastard's child!"

Despite the pain she was in, she swiped his hand away from her.

Zac's face flushed with anger and he looked like he was about to eat her alive.

Sophie smiled coldly at him.

"Why? What right do you have to get mad at me? We've been divorced, Zac! I'm still young and could be fickle.If I want to sleep around with different men, what can you do? Oh, Edith is right, by the way.This child is not yours.You can get mad all you want, I don't care! But get out of here and never show your face in front of me, ever again!"

Sophie got too agitated and her wounds, which were just stitched up, started to bleed.

The noise inside her room alerted the nurses outside and several doctors were called in.

Zac watched icily as a group of doctors and nurses poured inside the room.

His fist was clenched tightly as he tried to suppress his impulse to kill.

‘She must have a death wish! I must leave here immediately or I might loose control and strangle this woman!’ Edith proudly followed Zac outside and left.

"This bitch must have nine lives.How did she even survive that car crash? It seems I need to plan more carefully next time’ She had a triumphant smile in her lips ‘As for that bastard inside her belly, I won't let her give birth to that spawn!”
