Chapter 15 - The Abundance of Wealth

Chapter 15 - The Abundance of Wealth

Claudina glided onto the stage, where dozens of men in lavish suits sat, scowling at her as she stood

and calmly regarded everyone in front of her.

Claudina smiled, her beauty lighting up the room and causing some to stand in an unconscious display

of anticipation.

"Welcome, everyone," she said in a gentle voice, the sound seeming to caress each guest's ears and

render them weak. "Tonight we will be hosting a charity event." she added.

Claudina walked to the side, revealing the large screen behind her. On it was a video of orphans

desperate for aid so that their home would not be destroyed for the sake of a business venture.

"There are many people who have it worse than others," she said. "These children, who have lost their

families and still have dreams in their hearts, need our help."

Claudina scanned the room, hoping her actions would bring her the desired results. She was

determined to make her intentions a reality.

"I couldn't care less about this garbage; let's just get on with the charity, how much money do you

need? I'll pay it all now, and all I ask in return is for you to keep me company for the night."

"What a load of crap! Do you actually think anyone's here to genuinely help these poor orphans? This

is just our way to spend the night with you, hahaha..."

"I'd pay any price to sleep with her,"

Claudina heard the voices of the men, but she tried her best to ignore them.

Suddenly, he grasped the microphone in the stage's corner and began singing a song. A man played

the piano, and melodious music filled the air. Claudina joined in, humming her own song that was full of

soul and charm.

Claudina sang with an enchanting melodious voice, leaving all the listeners in awe. Everyone was

speechless, captivated by her mesmerizing performance.

"What gorgeous singing! She truly is a perfect girl, blessed with an angelic voice and body," someone

said.

"Just listening to her singing makes me aroused. I'd do anything to be able to make love to her at least

once," another said.

"I can't help it. I really want her," the third one uttered.

Once Claudina had completed her song, she sauntered over to the couch at the edge of the stage, and

a man who served as the host took her place.

"Alright everyone, let's get started with our charity event. The first item up for auction is a special song

composed and performed by Ms. Claudina. She has poured her heart and soul into it, so be the first to

witness her immense talent, our very own White Snow Princess."

"The bidding starts at one hundred thousand dollars," he announced as the auction began.

One of the guests then stood up, strolled to the front of the room, and removed the mask from his face.

A 25-year-old man of an impressive height of 190 cm (6.23 ft), Harry Black, was revealed.

"I know you guys don't really care about this charity, do you? I'm sure no one is interested in bidding on

anything when the best part of the day is a date with Ms. Claudina."

Harry was well aware of the intentions of the people who had gathered that night; they were all vying

for the chance to court Claudina. However, he had devised a different plan: he wanted to dazzle her

with his wit, charm, and good looks. Confident that he would be the one to win her over, Harry was

determined to make a lasting impression.

"Ms. Claudina," Harry said, bowing to her. "I am a successful CEO at the age of 25 and one of the 10

richest people in SouthLake. I believe I'm the best man to deserve your love and affection. I'm willing to novelbin

prove it to you by offering to buy your song for a hundred million dollars, showing that I desire more

than just a date with you. I'm hoping that our relationship will be long-lasting and open."

Harry smiled thinly and confidently at Claudina, sure that his words and charm would win her over. He

was certain that no woman in the world could resist the power of money.

"What bullshit!" Someone shouted.

Aston Scott, 32 years old, stood and removed his mask. He declared, "Harry, you wouldn't be this

wealthy without your parents' help. I'm one of the three wealthiest people in SouthLake, so I'm the one

who should be Claudina's companion."

Aston Scott then strode to the front of the stage, bowing deeply before Claudina. "Ms. Claudina," he

said, his voice full of admiration, "you are the most beautiful girl in Southlake, or perhaps even the

world. Let me be your helper, an angel who can solve any problem you may have. I'm willing to do

anything for you, so long as you will stay with me for a month. I bought your song for 200 million

dollars. Now, let's move on to the next item auction - don't let me keep you waiting any longer."

Aston believed he was the wealthiest person in the room and was certain he would win the bet. His

excitement was further fueled when he caught sight of Claudina's stunning countenance; he licked his

lips, unable to contain his desire. "I'll be the first to enjoy her body," he thought.

"Three hundred million dollars," Harry Black repeated, grinning confidently at Aston. "You won't get rid

of me that easily, Mr. Aston. I'm here to demonstrate my commitment, whereas you only came to satisfy

your lust. I'm the one who's going to win this auction and the beautiful Claudina's heart!"

"How do you think you're different from me, kid?" Aston challenged, "Four hundred million dollars.

You'd better stop and hang onto your money for the next auction."

The crowd was rendered speechless as they watched two people of immense wealth compete for the

most useless item of the night's auction.

"It's quite evident that they have an abundance of money - I don't think I can outbid them now," one of

the spectators murmured.

"I don't care, I'm going all-out to be able to date Claudina."

"One billion dollars!" someone in the corner of the room called out, raising his hand as he placed his

bid on the item that Harry and Aston were fighting over.
