[System Comment: You're beginning to comprehend how to savor life, and you even managed to save

your first girl! You act like a normal guy, even though you're still a virgin. It looks like you're really into

women, huh?]

"What the heck!" Arthur exclaimed in disbelief, staring at the comments displayed on the screen.

Like any other man, Arthur desired wealth, fame, and women; it was a common ambition. He was

determined to attain anything he wanted in life. To this end, he had chosen Edna as his assistant,

requiring someone he could trust and rely on.

Arthur noticed that his total balance in the account was reflected in the system, as well as the name of

his partner. Astonished, he observed that Edna's percentage had risen from 55% to 65% in a matter of

minutes.

Arthur earned 10 VIP points, but he didn't pay much attention to it, preferring to focus on other things

instead.

Arthur was taken aback by Edna's appearance but also by her ability to work well despite the harsh

treatment she had been receiving from her boss. This drew a connection between them and motivated

Arthur to recruit her even more.

"Edna," he said, "I'll soon be giving you a big assignment so make sure you're prepared. Don't worry

though, if it seems too difficult you can get as much help as you need. I just want you to be my main

assistant and to understand my needs and fulfill them."

Arthur wanted to make sure Edna understood her role. She was familiar with how the business worked

and hoped that she could help Arthur manage the business if he bought it.

"Mr. Gardner," Edna reassured him, "you don't have to worry. I won't let you down. I went to school for

management accounting, so I'm quite knowledgeable in the field of management. I've also taken

courses in business. You can count on me to do most of the things you need; I'll make sure you don't

buy a cat in a sack." She wanted to make sure that he knew she was committed to faithfully serving

him and that he would never regret giving her such an incredible opportunity.

"Mr. Gardner," said Bob, swallowing hard. "Mr. Charless has informed me that he is offering 30 billion

USD if you want to purchase the business. You can add the 10 billion USD you paid earlier, and the

transfer process will be done immediately. In no time, all of this business will be yours."

Bob felt as though his life was over. He had just insulted the man in front of him, and now he was going

to lose everything he had worked for his whole life.

Arthur nodded in agreement and quickly concluded the transaction, making him the sole owner of the

shares.

"Bob," he said sternly, "I'm aware you've been misbehaving lately, but I still need you here. So, I'm

giving Edna the role of general manager and you'll be working under her direction. Don't make me

regret this decision, or else I'll get rid of you and make your life a living hell."

Bob dropped to his knees, bowing his head in reverence before Arthur. "Sir, my deepest apologies for

all I have done. I don't believe I'm worthy of your forgiveness, yet I swear to do my best, to help and

assist Ms. Edna in any way possible," he declared.

Bob, although he appeared to be exploiting the staff at this company, he was simply following orders

from his higher boss. He was actually very efficient in carrying out his duties.

He was embarrassed that his desire for Edna had caused him to act recklessly, but that feeling

vanished when he caught sight of the formidable figure in front of him. Resolved to dedicate himself to

his job and do all he could to meet his new boss' expectations, he was determined to work even harder.

Arthur then asked Edna to accompany him to see the most luxurious room in the hotel, which was

connected directly by a bridge between the two buildings from the restaurant.

The news that the ownership of the hotel had just changed hands to a new person quickly spread, and

they also realized it quickly when Edna, who was rumored to have taken over the general manager

position, was accompanying the man at that moment.

"What?! Are you kidding me?" someone exclaimed. "That man who came dressed like a beggar a few

minutes ago just bought the biggest hotel and restaurant in Southlake? And he even managed to

persuade Edna to be his personal assistant! I can't even begin to imagine how much money he must

have spent. Everyone wants her, but it seems like she's been purchased by a man who came out of

nowhere. No one was trying to court her before. He's definitely very mysterious."

"That girl, Edna Ross, is the most stunning woman I have ever laid eyes on. She has now been novelbin

acquired by our new boss, and I can't argue with his choice; she is drop-dead gorgeous and incredibly

alluring."

"Hush! Can you keep your lips sealed? They are our most important boss at the moment. Do you want

your life to become ruined if they hear what you said?"

Arthur decided to take the hotel's topmost floor, the 70th floor, which was part of a towering skyscraper.

He then asked the hotel to clear out the five floors below his and reserve them exclusively for him.

Arthur chose a luxurious one-floor hotel room, which cost an astonishing fifty thousand US dollars a

night, making it the most opulent accommodation in the city.

Arthur approached the grand bed in the center of the room, draped with golden sheets. He felt a

comfort he had never experienced before as he lay down. Taking a moment to take in the feeling, he

then noticed Edna standing in front of him, smiling sweetly.

"Edna," he began, "you can use the room one floor below me. I want you to be close by whenever I

need you. I believe this is a wise decision."

"Are you sure I can use the VIP room on the floor below this one, Mr. Gardner?" Edna asked, her

amazement palpable as she was granted something she had never even dreamed of before.

"Sure, you're my personal assistant now, so I want you to be available when I need you. Okay, now I

need to go out and purchase some clothes and a new car, and I might need you to accompany me."

"Alright, Mr. Gardner!"

Arthur even had a private lift with access limited to him alone and a huge garage entirely for his use.

Sadly, he did not yet own a car.

Might it be time for Arthur to resume his shopping sprees of expensive items?
