Chapter 24

Chapter 24 – Eclipse surprises

LAURA

It’s the day of the Eclipse event, and I am standing in my walk-in closet dressed in my rope when two

strong arms come around me to hold me. Liam kisses me near my ear and I smile, turning my head to novelbin

look at him.

“Hey.”

“Hey baby, you looked so lost in thoughts.” He says softly.

“I am just trying to find out what to wear.” He hums.

“Come with me.” He takes my hand leading me back into the bedroom. When we enter I see a beautiful

dress lying on my bed. It’s a long dress, in a color reminding me of the color of the moon. It is of

shoulder but with 34 sleeves and lace as a second layer that open on the front. It’s simple but so

beautiful, I look at him and he smiles.

“I thought you might need something to wear.”

“It’s beautiful.” He bends down and kisses me softly.

“No baby, that is only a dress, but you are the one that will make it beautiful.” I blush.

“Thank you.” “You are welcome. I will love to take it off you later.” He winks and I giggle.

After another kiss, he leaves to go get ready himself. I think back to this morning. After waking up in his

bed again we got up and showered together. He is always so gentle with me and always makes sure I

feel good. I can feel his lust and how much he wants me. But he never complains that all we have done

is a pleasure each other with our mouths and hands. And God he sure does know how to use his

hands and tongue. He asked this morning if I wanted to move into his room, said I am there with him

every night anyway and that he like to have me there with him, I promised to think about it.

I stand up from the chair I had to sit down in, to get dressed and get ready. After putting the dress on I

put con some light makeup and my long hair in a braid that halfway spread out into 3 braids. A knock

sounds o

n the door and Liam comes in, stopping up when he sees me.

“Wow.” He looks at me, as if he had just seen the moon-goddess herself, I blush

“You look so damn beautiful.” I smile and turn redder.

“We should go, they are waiting for you,” I whisper and he smiles taking my hand and we leave to go to

where the BBQ has been set up.

LIAM

Laura is breathtakingly beautiful, I choose the dress because I know she won’t like anything too tight

with her belly and the color reminds me of the moon. But damn she looks just absolutely beautiful and I

am lucky to have her here next to me.

The setup for the event looks great with all the tables and lights, and they are all full of packmembers. I

help Laura to sit down on the empty seat next to my mother and kiss them both on their cheek before I

go to stand in front of all my pack,

“Hello everyone, it is so great to see you all here,

This year we are so lucky that have our end-of-summer run on the day our moon is reborn from the

darkness. And we will all run together, to say goodbye to the old and bid the new welcome. We have

had packmembers planning this evening and I must say it looks spectacular. So a big thank you to

everyone revolved. Now, let’s party, have food and enjoy the evening. When the run starts we have the

pregnant she wolves and older wolves that will stay and take care of the smallest ones. While the teens

will have their own little part in the big training hall.

Have fun tonight.”

Every wolf here cheered and give applause. I bow my head slightly and smile before I go and take the

empty seat next to Laura. As I sit down an Omega comes up to the table.

“My king, food is ready and set up. If you wish to go first.” I smile. I know it’s what would be expected

so I get up. I put my hands on Laura’s shoulder.

“What would you like to eat sweetheart. I’ll get it for you, it’s easier and you should rest,” I ask her

softly, I don’t want her to get bumped into or something.

“Thank you, Your Highness. I would like the grilled chicken with creamed potatoes and some salad.”

She smiles at me. And I go get us our food.

When I come back, I give her the food she wanted and she thank me. When I sit down the rest of the

pack begins to go get their food. I look at Laura and she looks a bit pale so I take her hand and lean

over and ask her if she is okay and she tells me it’s just the pups kicking more than normal. I caress

her hand trying to comfort her a little. I know how much she wants to be here, so I won’t ask if she

wants to go back to the house.

After a few hours, packmembers are dancing and enjoying themselves. I would have loved to have a

dance with Laura but I know whit her belly she would find it difficult. So I relax and talk to those that

come up to say hello. Laura is talking to the other pregnant she-wolves and I can’t help but keep

looking a t her. I feel my mother and a few older packmembers keeping eye on me and I turn to look.

They all smile at me and I walk over to where they sat down. 1

“Liam, it looks like the night was a success.” My mother says.

“Indeed. Everyone seems to have a good time and I just got word the teens are enjoying their party. It

was a great idea to give them that.” I answer.

“Oh, that was all Laura’s idea, and so was most of the decorations here.” I did know she had helped my

mom a little, but not that she had influenced this so much. I can’t help but feel proud and I smile.

“Yes, it’s a wonderful young woman you have found your highness. Always so sweet and caring.” I hear

some of the others agree. I smile at them.

“Yes, she a special woman. One of a kind.” I reply and they smile. I look up and I can see it won’t be

long before the Eclipse will start so I go and gather everyone’s attention.

“ITS TIME. Everyone that can, please join me for a run.” I look at Laura and smile at her. And she

smiles back still looking pale, Shadow and I don’t like keeping her with how pale she looks. But I turn

around and shift shredding my clothes.

LAURA

“ITS TIME. Everyone that can, please join me for a run.” I hear Liam yell out and everyone looks at

him. He locks eyes with me and smiles and I smile back, Tonight is a big deal for every wolf, so

everyone that can get ready to go shift. I see some of the older wolves gather the pups and get them

ready for their story told by the pack’s oldest wolf.

I choose to stay seated. My pups have been kicking and moving more than usual and it’s taking its toll

on me. Looking at Liam he shifts right where he is scraps of his clothing flying everywhere. I laugh a

little but also look at the big black wolf that took his place. Shadow is magnificent and I understand why

he is the king and why no one wants to challenge him.

“He is one fine wolf.’ I hear Kali drool in my mind and I roll my eyes. Kali has been getting close to

Shadow but has never “met” him as I have not been able to shift.

“He sure is.’I agree. After all the shifted wolves have left for the run I get up and walk towards the group

of people where Rosa is. Halfway there I feel a kick stronger than I ever have and I almost kneel in

pain. Rosa saw my pain and she hurry over to be followed by some information about the older woman.

“Laura, are you okay?” she asks when she reaches me. I try to answer but another strong kick makes

me whimper instead. Rosa grab my arm held me and begin to lead me towards a chair. We are almost

there when I feel another kick, but this time I feel something wet run down my legs.

“Rosa, i think my water broke,” I whisper as another wave of pain rushes through me.

“Liam and Dr. Marshall are on their way sweetheart.” I nod my head.

Not long after I hear big paws coming closer and before I know it Liam is next to me only dressed in a

pair of shorts and Dr. Marshall is right behind him.

“Laura!”

“My water broke,” I tell him, and Dr. Marshall cones over to check me before looking at Liam.

“I need her moved to the hospital.”

“I will take her there.” Liam bends down and lifts me up. “Don’t worry baby, I got you. Soon we will meet

Zach and Zara” He kisses me softly.
