Chapter 29 – A Run Full Of Confessions

LAURA

It is 2 weeks ago since I gave birth to my beautiful babies, and today we are going for our first checkup.

Liam is coming into the nursery and goes to get Zack from the bed, putting him on the small couch, and

dressing him, while I do the same to Zara. Both are already fed so we are ready to leave.

The drive there only takes 10 minutes. And when we arrive there we see shown into a room right away.

It doesn’t take long before Dr. Marshall joins us, smiling brightly. “My king, miss Perl. It’s good to see

you both. Today I will just look over the pups fast, and then check if you have healed as you are

supposed to.”

“Hello, Dr. That sounds good.” He nods his head.

“What about I check your pups while you change into this.” He hands me a hospital gown. I agree and

got o change, while Liam stays in the room with the pups and Dr. Marshall.

VA

When I come back they are smiling as Liam is putting Zara back into her car seat.

Dr. Marshall asks me to lay down on the bed, and when I am on it he goes to sit by my feet and do the

examination. It doesn’t take long before he is done and tells me to change back into my clothes.

When I am done I sit down and he smiles at me.

“Everything looks perfect. And you are all healed.”

“Thank you, Dr.”

“You are welcome. It’s been a long time since you shifted miss Perl. So the first one after so long is

expected to be a little painful. But other than that your good to go.” He tells me and shows us out.

Outside we put the twins in the car and I go to get into it when Liam turns me around pressing me

against the car. He bends down and captures my lips, kissing me deeply. His hands aren’t touching me,

but the way he is kissing me, makes me wish that he was. I clutch his shirt in my hands, pulling him

closer. He smiles against my lips, nibbling them, and chuckles low.

“It’s good to know I am not the only one tired of waiting.” He whispers in my ear making me blush. 1

“What you say, let’s go home get the twins fed and changed, then ask mom if she wants to look after

them, and go for a run. Let out kali and Shadow.” He asks and I smile big.

“I would love that.” He smiles back and we get in and drive home.

LIAM

I have Laura’s hand in mine while walking outside, to the tree line to the forest behind the house.

Getting there I take her in my arms and kiss her. I think about what the Dr. said, about her being all

healed up. While I have loved and enjoyed every intimate moment, I can’t help thinking about burring

myself inside of her making her moan and scream my name while coming around my cock.

“I will shift when you have.” She nods

She goes to take off the hoodie and sweatpants we changed into, leaving her underwear on. She

breathes heavily and begins to shift. It takes a little time, and I can hear her gasp as her bones break

and rearrange as she shifts.

The most gorgeous and amazing wolf is standing up in her place. Her fur is the same color as Laura’s

hair, and her eyes are blue, but a slightly deeper blue than her normal color. I walk slowly over to the

beautiful she-wolf.

“Hello, Kali. It’s so good to finally meet you. And damn you are a beautiful wolf. And thank you, thank

you for letting me be a part of Laura’s and the twins’ life. I promise you that I will never hurt them.” She

surprises me go pushing me to the ground licking my face. I chuckle.

‘She wants to meet Shadow.’ Laura’s voice comes through a mindlink.

I stand up scratch her ear and take a few steps back before shifting into Shadow’s big black wolf.

Shadow is standing still while Kali takes her time, sniffing him and brushing up against him. She

catches him off guard, nibbling his neck, and runs off.

‘Shadow, that right there is a she-wolf that wants to be caught.’ I told him. He growls and sets off after

her. He catches up to her fast, and I think it is the first time I see Shadow like this, they are running novelbin

around playing and toying with each other. Simply just having fun. Shadow also shows them where our

borders are, ending the tour at the mountain waterfall with the pond, this is where we found Laura

unconscious.

Stopping up I shift back and wait for her to do the same we are alone here, and I made sure the patrol

don’t come this way until I say different. So it doesn’t matter that we are naked.

LAURA

Kali had so much fun running with Shadow. I could feel how much she admire him. How she found him

to be the strongest and most handsome wolf she has met. Shadow and Liam showed us the lands

around the actual pack town area. They stopped at a veering near the mountains, this place was

amazing waterfall hid an opening in the mountain and ran into a pond surrounded by grass and

wildflowers, it was beautiful.

Shadow shifts back and a naked Liam takes his place, he looks at me and I know he wants me to shift

back too, so I do. Back at my two legs, I stand looking down into the pond when Liam comes up behind

m e putting his arms around me.

“This is where Shadow and I found you passed out.” He tells me, kissing my shoulder.

“When I saw you, I was stunned about how beautiful you are.”

c”You are biased,” I tell him.

“No, I am not. But I am crazy about you.” I smile at him and look away.

My feelings for Liam have grown and I have not known how I would tell him. But it was not only me, but

Kali had also gotten really close with Shadow, and I could feel how she wished that he would be hers.

We had lost our fated mate given by the moon-goddess. But now, we felt closer, safer, and more loved

than w e ever had. I needed to tell him, I wanted to tell him, but I am afraid it will scare him away. I

turned around and look at him.

“Liam?” he looks at me.

“1…” I don’t know how to name such a big confession.

“You what?” I don’t answer and look away.

Liam surprised me by grabbing my fade making me look into his eyes, bending down, and kissing me.

“Laura! I have been wanting to say this for a while. Since we met, since I found you, I have felt myself

to become alive again. You melted my frozen heart, Laura. And I have fallen in love with you. You make

me feel things I have never felt before.” He took a deep breath. “Liam,” I whisper and he looks at me

nervously.

“You took me in, you saved me. You never cared that I was a rejected pregnant she-wolf. You care for

me and protect me. You make me feel safer and more loved than I ever have. I have fallen in love with

you too, I don’t get to finish what I wanted to say. He grabs me, lifts me up, and kisses me long and

passionately.
