Chapter 9
Chapter 9 – A New Beginning
LAURA
I have been here at the Royal Moon Pack for a little more than a month and everyone has been so
sweet. Rosa has helped me a lot making sure I am eating the right food held my hair when I had
morning sickness. She also took me shopping, which I felt was a little wrong when I didn’t have my own
money to pay with. But she didn’t care about that and Liam just shushed, me when I tried to get him on
my side.
Kali also loves it here. She had been very quiet in the beginning after I had accepted Mile’s rejection
and severed the bond to the pack. But after a few days, she began to come back to normal. She told
me last night that Liam’s wolf sometimes communicates with her. And that makes things easier for her.
I am grateful that someone helps her.
I am currently laying outside on one of the garden beds and enjoying the sun when I feel a shadow fall
on me, looking up I see Liam looking down and me and smile when I open my eyes to look. Liam has
been really sweet to me as well. Nothing like what the rumors had said about him.
“My king.” I, say teasing him, knowing he hates when I use his title.
“Laura.” He growls and I laugh a little and he shakes his head.
“I am going for a walk through the pack. Wondered if you want to come so you can see more of the
pack.” He asks me smiling down at me.
“I would love to, can I have time to go change?”
“Why, you look great the way you look now.” I look at the clothes, I am currently wearing a pair of shorts
and a tank-top.
“This could fast give the wolves the wrong expression of me Liam. I don’t want people to look at me as
some slutty person. Especially when I am going to walk around with their king.” He looks at me and
smiles.
“Alright, go change and when you are done, I will be in my office.”

“Okay, will be there in 15 minutes.” Liam sends me another smile and leave.
I get up and make my way to the gorgeous room they have given me here. A few days ago Liam came
and offered me a place in The Royal Moon Pack, as a member of it and I happily said yes, I love it
here, and I love the people. Looking in my closet I find a plaided skirt that stops just above my knees
and a long white top with small sleeves. I take on a pair of white flats and decide the braid my long hair,
letting the braid hang over my shoulder.
Satisfied with how I look I make my way down to Liam’s office, before I can knock on the door I hear his
voice.
“Just come in Laura.” I smile but wonder how he knew it was me and enter his office.
“How did you know it was me.” He smiles at me.
“Your scent. You have to remember my senses are even more heightened than an Alphas.”
“Okay, well I am ready.” He looks at me.
“You look gorgeous.” I blush at his words
“Laura I was thinking if you want to do the ritual to become a member before we go? You might enjoy it
more. And then others can smell that you belong to the pack.”
I look at him. I had been wondering when he would want to do it but did not want to rush him. I am just
happy to be offered a place in his pack. 1
“Sure, that will be great.” I smile at him.
He stands up walks to a cabinet and takes out a small dagger, the blade being silver. He comes back
and stands in front of me so I have to look up to see his face. He smiles and sits to lean against his
desk half standing up.
“I will say the words that invite you to become a member, and when you have accepted I will make a
small cut in our palm and we lock hands while the packlink and bond establish.” | nod my head
showing! have understood and he smiles again. He really does look so handsome when he smiles.
“I Liam Moon Black, King of the werewolves and Alpha of The Royal Moon Pack Offer you Laura Perl,
a place in the pack, As a member and family.”
“I Laura Perl, accept the kind offer from Liam Moon Black, My king, and Alpha of The Royal Moon
Pack, and promise to follow the pack laws and rules, and also to protect the pack as my family.” With
the words being said I can feel the pressure of a bond trying to be made.
Liam gently takes my hand in his and cuts a small rift in my palm with the dagger, after doing it to
himself too, he takes my hand and locks them together. I wasn’t prepared for what would happen when novelbin
our palms locked and our blood mixed. It was such a strong feeling that I felt dizzy for a moment and
began to fall, when I didn’t I realized that Liam had locked his other arm around me, holding me steady.

met his silver eyes and smiled.
‘Thank you, My King.’ I squealed when he grabs my waist and tickles me.
“Laura.” He tries to sound serious, but I can see his eyes smiling
“Sorry had to tease you,” I say giggling he shakes his head and lets go of me. “Let’s go.” He walks out
and I follow him.
