Collin, sitting in the passenger seal, had a complex expression. He signaled the driver to stop the car, and then they both got out, moving away to avoid disturbing.

Ellinor’s face was rigid, her hands gripping the hem of her white T–shirt, slowly pulling it up….

Theo was lazily leaning against the car door. His neutral gaze fell on her with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

At Nexus Industries.

Morgan was severely reprimanded by Joseph for mishandling personnel and favoring his relatives.

Joseph even issued him an ultimatum. If he couldn’t find a way to recoup today’s losses that led to the failure of the project and cooperation with the Blanchet family, he would be fired just like his relative Debby!

Morgan was at his wit’s end, driving out to find a solution. He was worrying about how to keep his job when he unexpectedly saw Mr. Blanchet’s car parked by the road.

Mr. Blanchet was still here? This was a godsend! He could seize this opportunity to explain to Mr. Blanchet why the plan went wrong and try to salvage some room!

Thinking of this, Morgan quickly parked his car nearby and ran towards the black Mercedes–Benz.

This top–of–the–line Mercedes had tinted windows, and you couldn’t see if there was anyone inside from the outside.

Morgan carefully asked, “Mr. Blanchet? Are you in the car, Mr. Blanchet? Mr. Blanchet….”

Due to the excellent sound insulation of the car, Morgan’s voice did not penetrate.

Was there no one in the car? Mr. Blanchet was not in the car? Where did he go?

Morgan looked around but didn’t see Mr. Blanchet, so he tried to open the car door.

Theo’s face was cold, leaving no room for Ellinor to back down, and Ellinor was not about to give in to this man!

She had just been bullied by this man’s sister this morning, and if she didn’t show a tough attitude now, wouldn’t she be considered a pushover by the Blanchet family for the next three months?

Ellinor clenched her teeth and forcefully pulled her T–shirt up….

Fortunately, she was wearing a small tank top underneath. Although it was skimpy, it wasn’t too revealing!

Theo’s gaze instantly became serious. She was really going to undress!

Suddenly, the car door was pulled open, and sunlight and cold air rushed in…

Before Ellinor could react, she was abruptly pulled in by Theo! Her vision went dark, and then her nose was filled with the scent of a man’s perfume mixed with tobacco, her heart pounding….

Theo reacted quickly, in an instant, he grabbed his coat beside him and covered Ellinor’s body, pulling her into his arms to avoid being seen by others.

After Morgan opened the car door, he saw Mr. Blanchet holding a woman in his arms. The woman’s face was pressed against Mr. Blanchet’s chest, wrapped in a man’s clothing, and two straight legs beneath….

He opened his mouth wide, stunned, and immediately realized that he had seen something he shouldn’t have, breaking out in a cold

“Ah! Sorry, Mr. Blanchet! I called for you outside just now, but there was no response, so I…”

Theo was holding the person in his arms tightly, looking up coldly and saying, “Get lost!”

Morgan quickly closed the car door, wiping the sweat off his forehead nervously, feeling uneasy.

He had interrupted Mr. Blanchet’s private matter, and now he was doomed…

She was dissatisfied? If he hadn’t blocked her, her body would have been fully exposed! Didn’t she feel embarrassed?

Coming to his senses, Theo released her, saying seriously, “Get dressed now! Everything you say and do represents the Blanchet family. Don’t do anything as disgraceful as taking off your clothes at will!”

Disgraceful? Wasn’t it him who asked her to take it off?

Ellinor smirked sarcastically, “So, you’re giving me permission to wear your clothes?”

Theo’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, a small smile unconsciously appeared on his face. This little girl, she really held a grudge!

“Go ahead and wear it!”

Ellinor huffed, moving aside to put her clothes back on.

Theo didn’t look at her again. He turned his face, got out of the car and slammed the car door shut!

Morgan was nervously explaining to Collin, “Collin, I didn’t mean to, you have to help me explain to Mr. Blanchet….

Hearing the car door close, Collin looked up to see Mr. Blanchet walking over, “Mr. Blanchet…”

Morgan felt a chill run down his spine, instantly turning around to bow and apologize.

“Mr. Blanchet, I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to open the car door to look….”

Theo’s black eyes were icy, “What did you see?”

Morgan was stunned for a moment, shaking his head vigorously, “… I didn’t see anything! I didn’t see anything….”

Collin stepped forward, bowing his head and apologizing, “Mr. Blanchet, I was answering a call and didn’t notice someone approaching the car. It’s my fault!”

Theo glanced at Collin and said nothing.

He lit a cigarette, turned his face to look at Morgan, “Since you’ve come all the way to my car, what do you want?”

Morgan hastily said, “Mr. Blanchet, it’s Morgan, from Nexus Industries. We just met at the company! Uh…I need to explain. The botched proposal you saw today was tampered with by an intern for

personal gain. It’s not representative of our real standard. I hope you could give us another chance to show our capabilities.”

Theo took a casual puff of his cigarette, raising an eyebrow. “Someone messed up the proposal, huh? Was it that computer whiz intern?”

Morgan was taken aback for a moment, awkwardly shaking his head.

“Uh… no, it was another one! But both interns have been sacked now. I assure you there won’t be any more blunders on our part. Mr. Blanchet, could you spare a bit of time…”

They were fired? Theo’s gaze deepened, sweeping over the back seat.

“I don’t have time right now.”

Theo gestured to Collin with his eyes, presuming that the young girl should have changed her clothes by now. Then he turned to get into the car.

Morgan hurriedly followed, “Mr. Blanchet! This project is really good. Please give me some time, just twenty minutes…”

Collin blocked Morgan sternly, warning him, “Morgan, Mr. Blanchet is busy. If you keep pestering him, you’ll have to face the consequences.”

Morgan froze, not daring to pester any further. He stepped back to the side of the road, bowing to the luxurious Mercedes as it slowly drove past him.

Mr. Blanchet had a woman waiting for him in the car now, he clearly didn’t have time for Morgan. He would have to find another time to talk to him.

Ellinor felt a bit stuffy in the car and slowly rolled down the window for some fresh air….

In the moment he looked up. Morgan was stunned. Was he seeing things?

The woman in Mr. Blanchet’s car, why did she look so much like Ellinor. The one he just fired today!
